Specs:
Race Ramps Car Lift Service Ramps let you easily get your low-ground-clearance vehicle onto a scissor or 2-post lift for service. The ramps have a 3.9-degree angle of approach, which allows you to lift your vehicle without worrying about scraping its front end. After arranging the ramps around your scissor or 2-post lift, simply drive your vehicle onto them and over the lift. This will give you 4" of clearance above the lift, allowing you to easily operate it without damaging your vehicle.
These ramps are made of ultra-strong, solid core, high-density EPS foam that won't crack or bounce. Each ramp supports 3,000 lbs - giving you a total weight capacity of 6,000 lbs for lifting a vehicle for service.
The Car Lift Service Ramps come in 4 pieces that slide together to form 2 ramps. The ramps are lightweight, weighing no more than 40 pounds per ramp, so you can maneuver them with ease.
The ramps are covered with a textured coating and are flat on one side. This keeps them from skidding when you drive up on them. The coating is a hybrid polyurea compound that is resistant to water and other automotive chemicals commonly found around the garage. And although this coating is durable, it will not scratch, mark, or scrape your garage floor or the ground.

Hi everyone, Aiden here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at these race ramps, car lift, service ramps. Now we've got it all set up right now just giving our car an extra few inches of lift, but these are really designed to be used in conjunction with something like a scissor lift that will slide underneath your car. So this is gonna be a really great option if you have one of those to give your vehicle a little bit of extra clearance, especially if it's a low to the ground vehicle and allow this to live in a small shop or maybe a home shop if you've got one where you're frequently doing work on your car, it'll give you that extra clearance. You set it up on the lift very easily every time. Let's check it out.
So this is very much set up like a drive on lift where it's going to be one long piece here that's made up of a bunch of smaller pieces. So you drive up onto it and it leaves all that space underneath your vehicle set up for a lift to go or just to give you extra clearance. These do sit up four inches from the ground, so it's not gonna give your vehicle a ton of lift, but to get something under here like a scissor lift, it's gonna be enough just to make sure you don't scrape the bottom of your car and make that setup process easier. Now the ramp section is actually quite short. It's really just this piece because once you get up onto the platform, it's flat all throughout until you get to the front where there's a small stop for your tire so you don't drive too far forward.
But this ramp section will give you a seven degree angled approach, which is great for any low clearance vehicles, and this is probably what you're getting it for, is a low clearance vehicle that needs the extra height to fit over top of one of those lifts that you might have at home. Now these are constructed by high density EPS foam, which keeps things very lightweight. Each ramp in total weighs only 40 pounds, which is really nice because if you do need to move it around then it's easy to do, or if you leave it set up, that's fine too, but it's going to be resistant to any sort of like spills that you might have on here, and it's going to be really strong. So I don't know about you, but for me, I hear foam and I wonder how strong it's gonna be, but it's very dense, very solid, without any give to it, and the coating on top feels a lot like a spray in bedliner. As far as weight capacity goes though, each ramp can support 3000 pounds.
So in total, the whole thing can support 6,000 pounds. Now when you pull this outta the box, you'll notice on the bottom of these pieces it says 1500 pounds. That's because each of these, each four of them can support 1500. So for one tire, 1500 for the front and back. So in total it's 3000 for the ramp.
But when you get your own and you see that at home, that's why it says that, it's because one tire will rest on each of those sections. Now, even if you don't have a dedicated lift that's gonna live underneath your car or between the ramps, I do think this could have a place at home. Let's say for instance, you wanted to get a floor jack under here. Once you've driven up onto the widths, because it's a multi-piece design, just take the middle section out, slide it out of the way, and you've got tons of room under here now to slide a floor jack under and lift the vehicle up a bit. Again, just giving you a little bit more room to work if you just need an extra few inches of clearance. Now, if you're like me though, you're probably thinking that this is way too much to use just at home. I don't have the space for something like this, nor do I have the lift at home to use something like this. For me, if I'm just doing something like an oil change on my vehicle, I just need a little bit of extra room on the front end, that's where a basic set of ramps I think would be a much better fit for myself and for most other people. And we've got tons of options to choose from here on our site, both from race ramps and other brands, if you'd like to check those out. I've actually worked with a set of race Rams very recently that gave you 10 inches of clearance. So it's a lot more lift and it really just goes from the front tires. They also had a heavier weight capacity, so for some larger, heavier vehicles that could be a good fit too. It really just comes down to how you're gonna be using it at home. If you've got the lift that this is designed to be used with, then I think this is a no-brainer. It's gonna make that way easier to use, and if you're frequently using it to work on your car, then I think it's worth it. But for me, who's just occasionally doing some maintenance and for maybe you at home, you probably don't need all this. And a basic set of ramps I think would do just fine, and you can find the right height to match up to your vehicle and give you the clearance you need to comfortably work on your car at home, but if you have the need for something like this in your home or your shop, then I think it's going to be a great fit. It's certainly well constructed and they make it easy to use and break down when it's not in use but that'll do it for our look at this Race Ramp Service Lift Ramps. Thanks for watching.

4" Tall x 185" long ramps make it easier to get your low-ground-clearance vehicle onto a scissor or 2-post lift. Ramp incline creates a 3.9-degree angle of approach. Fit tires up to 12" wide.I have an auto scissor lift that my Camaro could not clear, so I purchased the race ramps to gain the needed 4" of clearance . I use them full time, once you get the spacing right it's easy to drive up on them to park the car and easy to back off of them. The extra height also makes it easier to align the scissor lift arms under the car. One unexpected result is the extra height makes it easier to get in and out of the car, as I am old and low cars can be challenging. After a year of use, they are in great condition, no cracking or denting from the weight of the car. When working on the car, I only have to remove the section that's in the way and the pieces are really lite and easy to handle. If you plan on storing them, plan on using up a large amount of shelving space as they are quite bulky. I found it easier to just leave them on the floor an park on them full time rather then store them. In the attached picture, the car is supported by the lift and the race ramp is under the front of the car out of the way of the area I was working on. Also note the blue tape on the floor marking the location of the ramp for easy alignment. The molded in stops at the end of the ramp are very useful, they let you know when you're at the end of the ramp and all the way into the garage.
They created my account, which had to be tax exempt, quickly. Once ordered the ramps were shipped and delivered quickly as well.
Quick order and delivery
These ramps are excellent for gaining height for clearance of low ground profile vehicles over a scissor lift. The low angle slope allows the vehicle to ascend the ramps at idle speed. The material is sturdy and did not compress under the weight of vehicles weighing less than 4000 lbs.
The four light weight pieces per ramp stack easily for storage on top of the scissor lift when not in use.
The price is a little costly, but they seem to be well made and will last for quite awhile.
I am a little disappointed at the fact that when viewing the product page on the web site it estimated the delivery to my zip code as four days. A week after ordering and paying for the ramps I received a email letting me know that ramps were not in stock and expected shipment from manufacturer would be the following week. A week later another email informing me the product was not received from manufacturer and expected in two weeks. I understand supply chain issues but that should have been clear on product page.
Manufacturers own web site states 4 - 8 week lead time when ordering this product.
Good product, holding up well without any cracking or falling apart after one year. Light weight and easy to move out of the way if needed. Flipside is they are so light that the car will move them in or out as it is raised or lowered due to the suspension geometry as the struts compress. Some marks on the ground and a couple small wooden spacers have mostly resolved the issue. Expensive but there doesn't appear to be another good option.
The ramps accomplish the function for which I bought them
They are light weight and easy to handle, however, they are easy to get out of line from where you want them. I do think they are some what over priced. They are of very good quality and do the job.
Bought these for my auto detail shop. We do a lot of low cars, these make it simple to get the vehicles on the lift. Excellent quality, fast shipping. Thank you!!
The main reason for the rating is for the quick turn around. Thank you guys!!!
wicked fast shipping! items arrived in perfect condition.
thank you to the etrailer team!
Product seems good but it would help if I got the entire order instead of half the items 4wks after placing the initial order.
Exactly what I was looking for I work on expensive cars that sits low to the ground don't have to worry about hitting the bottle anymore Very happy With the product.
Other then it coming 1 week apart it worked out. Items are as advertised and work great. Thank you.
