Race Ramps Hook-Nosed Service Rack Ramps attach to a platform or lift to safely load your vehicle onto a service rack. The 3" hook-nose securely connects to forward side of the service platform or lift to create a smooth transition surface. The ramps have an 6.4 degree angle of approach, which allows you to load a low-ground-clearance vehicle without worrying about scraping its front end. It also eliminates the need for heavy steel approach ramps.
These ramps are made of ultra-strong, solid core, high-density EPS foam that won't crack or bounce. Each ramp supports 1,500 lbs - giving you a total weight capacity of 3,000 lbs for lifting a vehicle for service. The ramps are lightweight, weighing no more than 15 pounds per ramp, so you can transport and store them with ease.
The ramps are covered with a textured coating and are flat on one side. This keeps them from skidding when you drive up on them. The coating is a hybrid polyurea compound that is resistant to water and other automotive chemicals commonly found around the garage. And although this coating is durable, it will not scratch, mark, or scrape your garage floor or the ground.

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Race Ramps hook-nosed rack ramps. These ramps simply provide an easy way to avoid front end damage to your low riding car when getting onto a service platform or a lift. The ramps are extremely lightweight. They got a really nice design to them. They're a great alternative to the heavy steel ramps that are used with four post lifts. They simply decrease the angle of approach to your platform or lift, so you can see just how thin it is at the base and then how it increases in thickness all the way up to five inches thick at the thickest point, or five inch height at the highest point. Rack ramps are 100% solid, made with a high density expanded polystyrene that is coated with a hybrid polyuria.
The ramps will not slide, scratch or damage any floor type. This set does have the integrated hooks located right here. Really nice design, it's a metal construction that is coated so again you don't have to worry about any scratching or damage but it has the integrated hooks for easy placement and a secure hold. This gap right here measures about three and a quarter to three and a half inches and then the length of that hook, edge to edge, is 12 and one quarter inches. Also, each ramp is going to have the integrated strap so that makes transporting the ramp and placing the ramp very easy. The unit is going to support up to a 6000 lb vehicle.
It's going to feature a 6.4 degree angle of approach and measure 48 inches long, so from the very end to this point right here is 48 inches long. 20 inches wide and then again at the highest point it's going to measure five inches tall and each ramp only weighs around 15 lbs, so an extremely lightweight design. That's going to do it for today's look at the Race Ramps hook-nosed rack ramps.
