Travel more efficiently with this roof-mounted duffel bag. Strap the bag to your roof for travel, and then remove it to carry with you when you reach your destination. The Rightline Gear car top duffel can be used on a bare roof or with a roof rack or cargo basket.
Waterproof Fabric with Watertight Seams
The rooftop cargo bag is made of PVC that's reinforced with a nylon grid, so it's hard to cut or tear. This durable fabric is waterproof and stays flexible in hot or cold temperatures so it can be folded compactly for storage. For added assurance that your gear will stay dry, the PVC mesh material is fused together at the seams to create a watertight seal. This specially designed fabric also blocks 98 percent of UV rays to help prevent fading and keep the bag looking great for years to come.
Covered Zipper
This bag's corrosion-resistant, urethane-coated zipper is protected under a flap, so it is sheltered from the rain. For added protection, hook-and-loop fasteners seal the flap closed.
Convenient Side Pocket
Store the included mounting straps, shoulder straps or other small items in the handy side pocket on the duffel bag.
Bare Roof Mount
The included strap set mounts the Rightline Gear cargo carrier to a bare roof using rubber-coated steel hooks that firmly grip the ledges at the top of each doorframe. Attaching the straps requires sturdy mounting points for the hooks, such as rain gutters, metal ledges, the outside of the weather molding, or ledges under the weather molding. The hooks have 5/8-inch openings to fit over the door ledges. And the attachment straps thread through D-rings on the bag for added security.
Your vehicle's doors will close easily over the hooks to secure them in place. The rubber coating on the hooks protects your vehicle from scratches.
A roof protection pad (RL100650 - sold separately) is also available to keep the duffel bag from sliding around and to protect the top of your vehicle from scratches.
Roof Rack or Cargo Basket Mount
To attach the bag to a roof rack or basket, just remove the hooks from the strap ends and use the straps to tie down the duffel bag.
Adding Duffel Bags
Depending on the size of your roof, you can place up to four Rightline Gear duffel bags on top of your vehicle, side by side. Get a bag for each member of the family, and everyone can grab their stuff and go when you reach the end of your journey.

Perfect size to put our camping chairs,foldable table,ytent and sleeping pads to give us more room in our vehicle for our future road trips.Only thing we did not like is that the zipper is not the length of the bag,so it was a little difficult to put the chairs in even though we had plenty of room once they were in the bag.
