The mitt's diamond-patterned pad is 7 times larger than a typical 3" x 3" cleaning clay patty, so you can clean your vehicle's exterior in a fraction of the time. And unlike cleaning clay, which absorbs debris from your vehicle's surface, this mitt simply loosens it so that it can be easily rinsed away. Because clay holds in dirt and debris, you have to knead and stretch the material to get a clean surface, and dropping it onto the ground can ruin the bar. But this mitt can be easily washed for repeated use.
