Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at the CURT Cargo Net, which is 38 by 65, which is gonna be great for your cargo carriers. This cargo net is a great insurance to make sure that you keep your stuff actually on here. Now, I've always used ratchet straps to hold my stuff down and it seems to work well, but when you have lots of odd shaped things, it's really hard to find that perfect cinching without running out of straps. Well this kind of covers that by attaching around the entire cargo carrier in this instance to really encapsulate all your items and keep them from falling out. So having a size of 38 by 65 really opens up to how much cargo you can have. So for instance, we have our water cooler here, a few plastic containers, a cooler, some chairs, a box, a bunch of different items that are all different shapes and it does contour to it well, and that's gonna keep these in place going down the highway.
Now it is elastic so it stretches. So that size is not, has to be dead on to what you're carrying, because you can simply stretch it to where you get it nice and taut, and that's accomplished by using these plastic clips here and you can actually take them off and move them to any place that you need to, to get that custom fit. So, you can simply strap here, you can route, route it tighter underneath if you need to, whatever it takes to get that custom fit, to make sure that your things are secure. Another nice feature of the hooks is having this finger loop which is going to be nice for routing this and being able to use that to not only hook it on to things, but also to unhook, I can simply put my finger there, put pressure and get this loose again. Great thing about these hooks is the opening on them allows for a bunch of different sizes and for it to secure great.
Now you can see the larger diameter on this cargo carrier, it's able to snap onto here. Whereas on this side we have a smaller diameter and it's still hooking just fine. You can also find other points, whether it be on your roof rack to attach to because you do have that pointed end. So, it offers a lot of versatility when it comes to actually hooking up. The openings between the net are quite large, and that's gonna be great for contouring to these shapes.
So you can see on the jug and this container it actually form fits to it. And another thing too, is with this wide opening, you can still run a strap through here if you wanted a little bit of extra security, but this is definitely the first line of defense to make sure that your things aren't gonna fall off. If you're looking for a size cargo carrier that matches this cargo net, I think a great option to match it with would be the CURT roof mounted cargo basket with the extensions. The dimensions are very similar and those clips are gonna snap onto the side rails perfectly. Overall, I think this cargo net is a great economical option for keeping all your supplies up top and holding it safe while in movement.
And I do think it compliments having a rooftop mounted basket as you can put whatever you need up there, and be able to contour to it. Now, one complaint I do have with this, and it's a small one, but the hooks tend to get a little bit tangled once you're not using it and go to unbanded. But, overall for a short, little period of install, the hooks hanging up is not a make or break for me. And that was a look at the CURT Cargo Net. Thanks for watching..

Worked well for 2 roadtrips, 12hrs each. The cords broke at many locations and it was not even rubbing against any hard/sharp edge. The hooks themselves are good quality.
It comes in a handy storage pouch, but the net is prone to tangling. It takes longer to untangle the net each time (including leaving for home) than putting the cargo carrier on and loading. The hooks are not sized correctly for the Reese Carrier that I got at the same time.
I ordered a few items from etrailer.com. They shipped immediately. When I received the box of goods, I was astounded by the quality of the cardboard shipping box (very heavy duty) and how well everything was packed. Bravo to the packing guy. His/her use of extra pieces of cardboard and that staple gun is excellent.

We have made a few 600-800 mile road trips with our 6 person family in our Tesla Model X and we love the aluminum rack, waterproof bag, super cool tie down straps and especially the hitch lock. Onlookers have come up to me on our trips and asked about my setup and I tell them how flexible it is in handling varying load sizes and when I am not using it, the compact storage. You should list my setup as a package recommendation on your website.I really couldnt be happier with everything.

An inexpensive solution to the problem of corrosion on exterior mounted wiring kits. This was easy enough that my 8 year old installed it. Yep, he watched the video on etrailer and followed step-by-step to get it installed. The hardest part for him was dropping the tiny fuse behind the body-panel and having to fish it out. Good learning experience for a future mechanic. The kit works as advertised. Only 2 suggestions...Split the 4 pole cable into two sections connected by all-weather plugs for each wire. Something that can fit through a small hole so that the trailer end of the plug can easily be mounted to a hitch. That would perfect the product.
I bought this a year ago to hold two trash cans in place on my hitch-mounted tray for dump runs, and it works well for that purpose. I have to carefully untangle it each time I take it out of the storage bag, but so far I manage to get it straightened out each time without too much effort.
Have only used it a few times but it does the job. Clips are so-so but if you're looking for a budget friendly option, this is it.
This is a great price for these cargo nets, these are better than what I was expecting at this price, I received free shipping & they came in 2 days earlier than promised.
I am very happy with everything from etrailer.com, I received an email shortly after my order from George J, stating that my order has been filled (this is other than the confirmation email), then another the next day stating that it had been shipped with the tracking number (most of the time I need to request the tracking number) with an estimated arrival date, then once delivered an email follow up on if the product was as expected.

Very rugged netting. Stretches a lot further than I expected. Thankful for the securing hooks that have large holes in their centers. I plan to loop a synthetic rope around the bottom frame and thru the hook holes.
FYI, I went with a aluminum hitch carrier.

Awesome product... was a bit tough finding a cargo net big enough for the rola rack with the extension but this works great and etrailer wasted no time getting it to me, I had my rack extension and net within 5 days.
It's a little bigger than what I thought it would be. Definitely a good size if the Curt roof rack cargo extension is used.
Works as it states. Holds items down will with the curt cargo basket.

Industry needs to figure out a way to make it so these do not turn into a nightmare that takes 10 minutes to untangle every use.

For the Reese cargo carrier part # 63153 I recommend using net part # H9500100 which is also from Reese.
