Today we're going to be taking a look at the stretch net for the Yakima Mega Warrior roof rack cargo basket, part number Y07081. This Yakima stretch net will help keep your cargo in place on both your Load Warrior, and Mega Warrior cargo baskets. It has these double sided hooks that can attach to the thicker bars on the side, or the thinner bars going all the way across. The net itself is made from a latex rubber construction, with a nylon casing, which will give it its flexibility, and also its durability to keep everything in place. The net measures 45 inches long, by 38 inches wide. Most people have compared this net to the Rola stretch full cargo net, part number 7330. The advantages that the Yakima net has, it does have those double sided hooks, which can go both over the larger bars, or the smaller bars, while the Rola rack is mainly designed for the larger bars. Another difference between these two, is going to be the actual size.
With the Yakima being 45 inches long, and 38 inches wide, while the Rola is 30 inches long, and 48 inches wide. Now that we've gone over some of the features of the cargo net, let's go head and show you how it installs. We'll take our net, place it over the top of our luggage. All right, we'll finish up, putting these in place. All right. And now we're ready to hit the road.
And there you have it for the stretch net for the Yakima Mega Warrior roof rack cargo basket, part number Y07081.

Elastic net features dual-sided hooks that attach to thick top bar or skinnier side bars and accommodates the extension for both baskets.I had a smaller basket before and found the dimensions a little too snug for the three storage bins I put up there while camping. This box has more than enough with space to spare with the extension. I've had it for about a year and still get asked when going through the US/Canada border if I had just bought it.
Good net but a cluster F$&@ untangling. And has to be untangled every time it’s stowed no matter how you fold it. I’ve used it one time on a 2 hour drive on the freeway doing 70-80mph securing a boxed fake Christmas tree on top of an XL megawarrior basket. I wasn’t totally confident strapping the box down but it did it’s job with flying colors. Untangling it though inducers foul language
I was skeptical at first that this cargo net would tie down securely. In fact, it’s quite secure and easy to use. Recommend highly.
Great rack. Nicely powder coated. Easy on / off for Winter Storage. Looks great on my 2018 Dodge Durango GT. Very versatile. I’ve hauled everything from luggage to lumber.
Overall , it's a pretty decent cargo net. It's way pricey though compared to similar cargo nets. I got it because I bought the yakima Megawarrior extension and the description of the item sai it is compatible. This description is deceiving. The truth is that it is compatible just like every other cargo net, but it won't cover the entire luggage basket. You will have to purchase another cargo net in addition to cover the entire basket if you bought the extension. The larger the cargo net however, the more time it will take to untangle it for use. So two smaller cargo nets verses on large is not a bad idea. I plan on purchasing a less expensive cargo net to help cover the remaining basket. This Yakima net is way too expensive verses the competition
Complete pain to keep from tangling but holds the load perfectly.
In my opinion, this does not secure loads nearly tight enough for use on a roof. I was hoping this would a quick fix that would allow me to avoid strapping down items in the cargo basket. But it is not sturdy enough nor tight enough to actually secure a load. I would not recommend this product.

wrong size for this basket elastic shock cord frayed after first trip I was able to repair it.
Always very helpful in product information, installation, etc.
Seems ideal for my Yakima Warrior on my new 4Runner. Arrived quickly.
Rack is exactly what we were looking for. Price and quality are excellent. Looking forward to using it!! Just wish I had ordered the locking bars - which I plan to do today.
Fits perfect, but the hooks make it a tangled mess in the package. The first 10 minutes were spent untangling the net.
Took a few months to get because covid-19 slowed production but worth the wait. It's awsome
Worked so great for holding our luggage to / from the airport!
Seems to be OK. Haven't used it yet. It would be nice to have to corners color coded in some way. (I did it myself after untangling it.).
very strong net looks awesome works hella good yes I would buy this product again in a heartbeat
Easy to attach

It’s alright. Tangles easy and fairly secure. Hooks need more of a purchase on the bars in my opinion. I did transport a large Christmas tree in a rectangle box for a two hour trip on windey roads and interstate doing about 80ish. Strapped to a mega warrior with extension basket. All made it to destination without incident
