Specs:
Note: Do not use for overhead lifting. This load binder is designed to work as part of a complete tie-down system. The overall capacity depends on the safe working load limit (WLL) of the chain(s) that you choose, as well as the capacity of the load binder itself. The item being tied down must not exceed the combined WLL of the lowest-rated components in the system.

Hello, neighbors, Steven here with etrailer.com. Today, we're taking a look together at our Durabilt Lever Binder with the Cam Grab Hooks for 5/16 to 3/8 inch hooks and chain, rated at 6,600 pounds. So, folks, this again, is a lever-type load binder. You would simply hook both ends onto the chain and then you could simply pull this lever, locking it in place, binding it up, and giving you a nice, tight hold. Now, those chains will be sold separately. You would obviously have to have them already.
The swivel ends here are gonna make it a lot easier to grab those chains, and also are going to eliminate recoil from the lever whenever you're tensioning and un-tensioning this. So, I always tell people, make sure you're being safe when you're hooking this up and unhooking it. Make sure you're out of the way or whatnot so it doesn't get you. Now, these do have fewer moving parts than say, like a ratchet binder, and they require much less maintenance. Now, the cam design here does reduce the leverage and force needed to open and close, while yet remaining secure, and it's a nice forged steel construction, so it's gonna be protected from corrosion and all that kinda stuff, and it has a nice bold yellow powder coat finish so it's easier to see, especially at nighttime and stuff as well.
Now, if you're wondering the handle length, I was getting about 12 1/2 inches long, and the take-up is 4 1/2 inches of take-up. Now, the handle length, again, 12 1/2 inches long. As far as overall, if you had this totally stretched out, like I just did there, end of chain, end of chain, I get 25 3/4 inches long. Has a safe working load limit of 6,600 pounds. This again, is the Durabilt Lever Binder with Cam Grab Hooks.
I'm Steven, thanks for watching.
