How to Measure Your Bumper Pull Trailer
To determine the proper fit, measure the length (not including the trailer tongue) and sidewall height (undercarriage to natural roof line), and the widest point of the trailer. This cover is designed to accommodate rooftop accessories such as AC units and vents.
Choose Cover by Climate
The climate where you are storing your trailer will help determine which cover to choose. This SFS AquaShed cover is designed for use in moderate climates as indicated by the northern (green) and central (yellow) regions on the map above.
This contour-fit cover helps keep your bumper pull trailer dry and well protected when not in use. It features a 3-layer fabric with an SFS AquaShed top and polypropylene sides to protect against sun, rain, mold, and mildew in a moderate climate. Elastic corners and a rope cinching system allows you to draw the cover in tight over your vehicle. Zippered panels on passenger's side and rear allow access to your trailer during storage.
Fabric Guards Against Elements
The top panel is constructed of triple-layer SFS AquaShed fabric that is stronger and more water resistant when compared to standard polypropylene covers. The fabric is breathable to prevent the growth of mold and mildew. It also beads water to eliminate pooling and ice build-up that can damage your trailer or cover. Additionally, the material provides UV protection to reduce fading and cracking while protecting the roof from debris and other pollutants that cause black streaks.
The sides of the cover are made of a non-abrasive, triple-layer polypropylene. This high-performance, non-woven fabric is water resistant and breathable. The lightweight construction reduces the overall weight of the cover, making it easier to lift and maneuver onto larger vehicles.
Straps and Elastic Corners Ensure Snug Fit
The cover is designed to fit snugly over your bumper pull trailer for a clean look and better protection from the elements. Elasticized corners grip your vehicle tightly, and they are reinforced to reduce wear and prevent tears and snags. Cinch ropes in front and back remove slack and reduce billowing.
Weighted straps with buckles run beneath your vehicle to secure the cover in place. The weighted ends allow you to easily toss the straps from one side of the vehicle to the other. Once buckled, the straps can be pulled tight to ensure the cover is securely fastened so it won't blow away with the wind.
Zippered Panels Offer Access
The cover features zippered panels on the passenger's side and rear so you can still access the interior of your trailer with the cover installed.
Convenient Storage
The included storage bag allows you to store the cover compactly in your vehicle or garage when not in use.

SFS Aquashed bumper pull trailer cover works best for short-term storage in moderate climates. Heavy-duty, 3-layer fabric protects against rain, snow, and sun. Contoured fit matches shape of trailer. Secures with cinch ropes and straps with buckles. The design is great and it fits my 6x12 enclosed trailer well, but the material tears easily. I'm not the most careful person in the world, but I tried to be careful putting this on my trailer, and I got a 12" tear in the front and a 2" tear in the back. I will sew these up, but I foresee a lot of sewing in my future as I will be taking this off and putting it back on once a month. I'd rather pay twice what I paid for the same design with better material. Once this cover fails, I will probably find a heavy duty tarp and figure out a system as I can't seem to find other alternative covers.
This cover is great! My horse trailer is 14ft, but with the hitch its 16ft so i opted to get the 16ft. It covers the hitch perfectly!!! My trailer is 7ft tall on the inside and the cover reaches down to the tires and covers most of them! It has zippers galore for easy access and it has Velcro at the bottom so the zippers dont come undone. The straps go right under the trailer and buckle tight. Only thing that sucked was getting it on the trailer, i ended up using a manure fork to prop it up and over. Lol
These covers dont last long in the sun of Phoenix az area never get a full year out of them but they are cheap enough to at least cover the roof and prevent rubber roof damage.
I have 16 foot bumper pull that has a pretty steep point to it. It measures 17 feet to the end of the hitch. I purchased the 14-16 cover, and it fits perfectly and covers the hitch! It (it also covers most of the tires.) It was very easy to install with just a ladder, and I loved that it has the 3 straps that attach underneath so the wind doesn't carry it away. I took the advice of other reviewers and covered any sharp edges on tailer with foam. Im very happy with it, and it came within a couple of days of ordering it!
It took a few bungie cords and ropes to make it fit, but it will work. Better than paying over $800 for one to custom fit my Ironhorse trailer.
Cover does not reach the bottom of the trailer
This is the second cover I've had to purchase for this trailer. The first one was destroyed in the first year by wind. Instructions should caution the installer to pad any tight or sharp corners, they wear out quickly. Fit is good, but it would help if they would put extra padding on corners.
Order arrived in 2 days, fits like a glove. Kind of wish I had ordered the 16' to 18' size to go over the toung and jack but it fits fine. Happy so far, just put it on the trailer yesterday. Bad weather is starting this coming weekend.
I was pleased with rhe ease of ordering and the timely delivery. I am 72. I got to teens to help me cover my horse trailer. It was done within an hour on a windy day. I live in a bery windy and snowy area. We'll have to see how it survives our winter. I am pleased with my purchase, so far!
The corners over the foot rail edges tore the first winter. This was disappointing.
Great product keeps trailer dry and protected from weather. The most wonderful prompt customer service!!!
Excellent product. Exactly as advertised. Quick shipment.
Very nice product. I used this past winter 2018-2019 and it held up very nicely. Only problem we saw when putting it on this year was some wear on it when it was pulled taunt against a corner by the step up to the door or side manger of the horse trailer. We used some duct tape to reinforce it for this winter. Otherwise quite happy with it and would recommend it .
Your search is over! Cheapest price for this trailer cover hands down. Fast, efficient service. Thanks SO much!
This specific cover comes with a 2-year warranty so I'm a little surprised to hear that yours ripped within a few months. If this were to happen again you can reach out about the warranty to see what can be done about any manufacturer defects.
--I would have given the cover a 5 star rating if it didn’t tear on some of the corners. Overall the cover was great. I had sold the trailer after the cover was on for the year so I can not say how long the cover would have actually lasted. Price wise if I kept the trailer and got two years out of the cover which I believe it would have held up I think the price is right on point. I would definitely purchase another cover from etrailer!
Great experience, fast shipping, product arrived as expected
Fantastic experience end-to-end. Great website with product selection and detail videos. Once ordered, they provided location tracking of the package - delivered on time in 2 days for free. I haven't used the cover yet. We have a couple more weeks before winterizing.
I wasn't that happy with it. Seemed like it was made of paper, couldn't see it making it through a Michigan winter, so I sent it back for a refund. Seemed like the craftsmanship was good the material was too lite for me. The people in service were really nice and helped with the return.
GReat cover and really does a nice job protecting trailer.
Great product and recommended for its quality. However, the seemingly unending Oregon rain the winter of 2017 and rare sunny days made condensation a problem.
Fit perfectly, went on the trailer quite easily and looks nice.
No rain yet to test its efficiency, but I did discover it really does take 2 people to put it on -- one to help hold it while a 2nd person on a ladder hoists it up onto the roof. After that is done, pull it down to drape on both sides and in back/front to center it, then attach tie-downs. Plenty of extra size.
Cover has worn through at the corners. Stored in the shade and shows wear from weather exposure
