Easily installed! Have not tested/ used it yet but so far so good. Installed on my 2019 Ram 2500 gasser.

Highly recommended! Have over 4,000 miles pulling my RV with no issues. Would state that you should ensure you keep it coated with dielectric grease.

Product came in wrapped nicely and with proper instructions. I installed the bed plug with my B&W gooseneck hitch . Always verify location before cutting the hole in truck .

I give a average because I had ordered to fit a 2021 ram 2500. The electrical plugs all match, but I had to drill another hole on the inside of the bed to mount this unit. This truck comes with manufacturers mounting hole that required a larger face plate. The fifth wheel harness was a generic 7 pin harness with ram matched harness plugs installed. Just wished I wouldn’t have had to drill a extra mounting hole.

This wiring harness worked great for my application. I needed to not only plug my truck camper in, but also a boat trailer and with the dodge factory harness that couldn’t be done. Only one socket could be used at a time. I installed this in the box so that I could use it not only for the camper but it is also set for a 5th wheel if desired in the future.

I received the Reese 5th wheel 16,000 lb slider hitch from etrailer in June 2019; installed it in July 2019. Took around five hours to install the base rail kit and Reese hitch start to finish. So far so good, this heavy duty slider hitch works flawlessly with my F250/fifth wheel combo. It arrived in multiple boxes, had excellent instructions and an operating manual. For myself and other do-it-yourselfers, etrailer provides excellent support and installation videos to help with the install.

The wiring harness arrived within one week of ordering. Drilling the required 2" hole was a simple matter of choosing the location and drilling the hole. I had to enlarge the upper part of the hole to allow for the wires and plug to pass through, as the 2" diameter wasn't quite enough to accommodate the second plug and the wire together. This enlargement was done with a file. No problem. The four screws are self tapping, so there's really no need to drill pilot holes unless you just want to make the screws that much easier to put in. A battery powered drill motor was all I needed to drive the screws. The finished installation is shown in the photos. This turned out to be a nice project, and is part of getting ready for the 5th wheel hitch and trailer. Excellent product. Well made. Very nice construction. Super easy to install. Literally a "plug and play" affair. The wiring harness and plug-in greatly exceeded my expectations. I'm glad I made this purchase from etrailer.com.

2015 Chevrolet Silverado 2500

Delivery and order process were very good. Product quality seems pretty low with a significant part of the wiring harness simply wrapped in electrical tape for about 6-8" from both of the connector plugs. Installation instructions were EXTREMELY POOR! The directions call for a 2" diameter hole in the bed and then send the two connectors and the wire all through the hole. IMPOSSIBLE! The small plug is about 2" diameter by itself, plus it has a locking tab on the side that adds about 1/4" to the diameter. On top of that there are the wires to the long plug that also must fit through the hole at the same time. That adds about another 1/4" or more. The net result is you need to create an oblong hole with about 3/4" x 3/4" additional clearance to even begin to fit everything through. NOT easy after the 2" hole is there.... more drilling, filing, cutting, and magic words required. NOT HAPPY!! With a little planning you might be able to use a hole saw and cut an overlapping 1" hole before doing the 2" and that might have worked. Factory should figure this out and tell you the proper hole requirements! Next, the instructions have figure "H" that shows a loose connector plug supposedly in the wiring harness......don't waste your time looking for it 'cause it doesn't exist! A nice picture of the back end of the bumper-mounted 7-pin connector would have made this pretty simple. Figured it out after exhausting my search efforts. Also it might be nice if they included a little dielectric grease to treat the plugs. They will all be hanging in a wet road-salt environment so how long will they last?? Time will tell...

I had to tear out the fifth wheel wiring some professionals installed. My dodge was throwing errors because the way they spliced in allowed water to ground out the trailer wiring. It took me 1 1/2 hours to remove and repair. The system I purchased took less than 15 minutes to install. Thank you for making it so easy. The pictures include what they did and then after new kit installed.

Thank you save a bunch of money using strainer. A friend recommended me to you and steered me in the right direction for sure. Oh yeah one more thing the videos about the 2 items purchased totally took the dumb out of this install piece of cake! Thank you again!

2015 Dodge Ram Pickup

Very easy to install, it took me abou 15 minutes on my 2011 Ram 2500. The only "specialty" tool needed was a 2" hole saw. I installed it behind the wheel well instead of in front for easy plug-in while hooking up with the tail gate down, so I had about 3 extra feet I had to zip tie and secure. I only wish it came with two large zip ties. Shipping was great, it arrived 2 days earlier than expected.

Installing this wiring harness was an easy DIY project. Took me about 30 minutes to install in the bed of my truck. Simply drill a 2" hole where you want the plug located, drop in the cords, then plug it into your existing harness. Now, when I plug in my fifth wheel, the cord doesn't hang down behind the tailgate.

Awesome product very easy to instal I watched videos of other people installing it and a quick glance at the instructions, my son and I were done installing in about 10 min I put the plug in my truck bed almost up to the cab and there was plenty of cord to reach and it made plugging in my Lance Cab Over Camper very nice and easy the things I needed was 2” hole saw and an 8mm socket on an impact to put the plug secure in the bed and some tie wire to tie the cord to the frame of my 2010 DODGE RAM 2500 Thank you

From the time I called etrailer and spoke to Angela to the time the part was received - I had above superb customer service from this company. Angela was extremely knowledgeable about the parts needed for our 5th wheel trailer and she shipped them immediately to us! The parts themselves were very well made, sturdy and strong and the price was unbeatable! We will certainly be ordering from etrailer.com again!! Thank you Angela for a wonderful experience during a difficult time. We would not go camping with out you! :)

I installed this on a half ton 2015 GMC. Very easy installation. Plugs fit perfectly together. Probably wouldn't buy the 9' again. I should have got the 7'er. I installed close to the tailgate. 9'er will take you anywhere in the bed. Hardest part to this install was to find a place to coil up the extra cord. Heavy duty.

Wish the harness was 3 foot shorter, but it’s universal. Works great easy to install, it’d be nice if the harness had the same secondary lock like the factory harness. I’d order it again!

  • Wiring Lance Slide In Camper to Work with In-Bed Trailer Connector on 2019 ford F250
Since the 7-way round pin plug is obsolete, your best bet would be to replace the connector on your camper with the common 7-way blade style connector. You'd remove the existing plug on your slide in camper, and replace it with # 54-77-003. You could then use an extension like # C56080 to reach the connector rearward of the wheel well.

If you want to run a specific wire, you will use # 16-1-1 sold by the foot and use circuit...

  • Installation of the Fifth Wheel 90 Degree Wiring Harness on a 2005 Ford F-350 At the Rear of Bed
I have not installed this item at the rear of the bed near the drivers side taillight. You will have to measure or more likely stick something similar in size up between the bedside and the fender to see if there will be clearance. I went out to the warehouse and pulled the Fifth Wheel and Gooseneck 90 Degree Wiring Harness with 7-Pole Connector, item # 50-97-410, and the area needed behind the sheet metal for the connector to mount is 2 inches round by 3-1/2 inches deep. If you took...

  • In Bed Wiring Harness for 5th Wheel and Gooseneck Trailers on a 2001 Dodge Ram 2500
The correct fifth wheel trailer wiring harness that you will need for your 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 with a factory 7-way connector is the Bargman 5th Wheel and Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness, part # 51-97-411. I am including a link to a video of the wiring harness being installed on a 2004 Dodge Ram 3500. The truck in the video is different from your truck, but the installation process will be the same. The Bargman 5th Wheel and Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness, part # 50-97-410, that...

Yes, the Bargman 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness, part # 50-97-410, will fit your 2012 Dodge Ram 2500 without any modification. The # 51-97-410 wiring harness, is designed to plug in line with the original factory 7-way connection under your trucks bed. You will route the wiring harness between the truck bed sides and then mount it after drilling a 2 inch hole in the proper position in the bed using a 2 inch diameter hole saw. After installation you will still retain the...

  • Recommendation for Routing a Power Wire to an In-Bed Camper
If you are looking for just something to run a power and ground source to the bed of your truck I would recommend just getting a set of Superwinch Quick Connects # SW1551, run a wire from the positive side of your battery to the side of the connector marked with a plus sign and then repeat the same process for the negative side of your battery to the side of the connector marked with a minus sign. You would want use zip ties to run the pair of wires from your battery to the bed of your...

  • Troubleshooting Bargman In-Bed 7-Way 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Trailer Connector on 2015 Chevy Silverado
With the manual brake switch actuated on the brake controller, you should be picking up voltage on the brake pin of the 7-way (the pin in the 5:00 position). I'd recommend temporarily unplugging the # 50-97-410 plug, and plugging the factory harness back into the 7-way on the rear bumper. Then, test the brake pin on the 7-way at the back bumper. The manual switch on the controller should be sending voltage through regardless of whether a trailer is attached or not. If you pick up voltage...
