Install was straightforward. A little dielectric grease on the connections and zip ties to hold up the extra length and we were all set. The toughest part was trying to get the spare tire down to get more working room as the key fitting for the tire was corroded and had to use spray to loosen it up!
It installed correctly and easily but the plug on the upper connector in the truck bed didn’t seem to fasten very well. I was afraid that the vibration would eventually make lose connection. I used some electrical tape to hold it in place.
This is what was ordered but not what was received. I received Item #C56070 which is the same without the plate. I will rate Item #C56070 separately but have to rate this middle of the road as this is not what was received. This would have been perfect if it was what was received originally.
Used to to wire in my FourWheel Hawk camper on my new 2024 Chevrolet 2500hd, very easy to use and eliminates running wire from camper to truck battery. Since I converted my 12 volt batteries in camper to lithium, I do not tie them into truck battery.
I ordered a part from etrailer.com, they sent it, I received it in a timely fashion.

The wiring harness was super easy to install. The instructions are easy to understand. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting to add a 7-Pole trailer connection to the inside of their bed.
Ordered this for a 2024 Silverado 2500HD even though it wasnt certain that it would be compatible. Once i figured the connections out the actual install took maybe 15 minutes! Ill add i coated all the connection pins with dielectric grease before reconnection. Worked perfectly.
Great Product!! Dealer wanted $200 to $300....Watched the accompanying video, and Installation was pretty straight forward on My 2022 GMC 2500HD. The only pain was getting at the Factory connection clip on the original plug... I chock that up to being my own fault for not dropping the spare tire down for ease of access...
I liked this kit. It looks and feels like high quality. Installation was easy and it took very little time to get clean results. Etrailer was great to work with. I was mad when I saw this, paid $200 to have installed in my previous truck’s bed. When I watched the video and saw it was plug and play I ordered and installed my self in less than 30 minutes. Shipping took a week but I won’t need it until the 3rd week of August when I head out with the fifth wheel. Product came as advertised with every thing needed to install. It looks factory (see pic). I am very happy with how it came out and the installation video was excellent.

This was probably one of the fastest items to install on everything I have added to my 21 GMC Sierra 2500HD, Denali Duramax. The right angle plugs make it simply slip in, plug and play.
