Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look together at this Curt T Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with four pole flat trailer connector. Now this harness has been designed to fit your 2020 and newer Tesla Model Y and on custom fit parts such as this harness, I do recommend taking advantage of our vehicle fit guide here at etrailer.com. Simply input the year, make, and model of your vehicle and our fit guide will confirm if this will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you. Now this custom T connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is going to be located behind the driver's side rear bumper, giving you a four-way flat trailer connector at the back of your Tesla to power your trailer signal lights.

This is also going to be compatible with five, six, and seven pull adapters. Those adapters are sold separately. As you already have seen here, this does come with a dust cap for the four-way flat connector. So when this plug is not in use, you're gonna be able to use this cap to protect those contact points, protecting them from moisture, dust, dirt, debris, things like that. So what's great about this harness is this is going to connect quickly and easily.

You're not gonna have to worry about cutting or splicing into wires. It's just going to plug into that harness in the back of your vehicle. And once installation is complete, the four way connector will be stowed beneath your vehicle near the trailer receiver hitch. And it is recommended that you pick up a mounting bracket, which is not included with this. And that bracket is going to keep this plug near your trailer hitch receiver so you can easily connect to it.

It is also recommended that you use a small amount of dielectric grease on all of your electrical connections, like the plugs on your vehicle and the four pole flat connector itself.
