This custom-fit T-connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located behind the driver's-side and passenger's-side tail lights. You will have to remove the cargo nets, some interior paneling, and the tail light assemblies to access this harness. Once you've plugged in the connector, run the red hot lead up to your car battery. Connect the included fuse holder, and then connect the fuse holder to the positive terminal on your battery.
Once installation is complete, the 4-way connector will be stowed beneath your vehicle, near the trailer hitch. A mounting bracket (sold separately) is recommended to keep the connector secure.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.
A tail light converter is built into this T-connector. This converter is a battery-powered unit that bypasses the electrical routes that are used by a basic wiring harness. As a result, there is virtually no draw on your tail light circuits.
Because most trailers run on a two-wire system - wherein the brake and turn signals are carried on one wire - the separate brake and turn signals from your vehicle's three-wire system need to be combined so they are compatible with the wiring system of the trailer. This converter combines the brake and turn signal functions of your automobile so that they run on one wire to properly activate your trailer's tail lights. Note: This will not affect how the tail lights on your vehicle operate.

Trailer hitch fit exactly as said it did. Very simple install & that's for the fish wire ( great idea).
Wiring kit was perfect also! Only problem I had was getting to the battery, Ford hid it under the front seat. Had to remove to get to battery.

Not as easy as it should be to install due to poor specs and lack of little details. It is not quite plug and play as described. The connectors do not fit without trimming the little wings. Once trimmed they connect and clip in perfectly. It is not hard to do but this should not be required. And, there is no way to mount the module. The instructions are vague and only say to secure it but it does not say how. That is because you can’t. I had to use my own zip tie mounts that I screwed in and then wrapped the zip tie around the module to secure it. These two poor details cost me at least an extra hour of figuring out and work. Installed on a 2022 Transit Crew 350HD Extended DRW.

It fits but it is a lot of work taking panels off to wire it. Exactly was the right kit.
Not as easy as I had hoped. Since we had to run a power wire from the battery, but it works and is a great product.
With something as vehicle-specific as this, there is always a fear that you will get it half way installed only to discover something doesn't fit. Glad to report this went very smoothly. Great instructions, great service at a fair price.
