Quickly and easily install a 4-way and 7-way trailer connector on your vehicle with this custom harness. T-connector plugs directly into OEM tow package wiring harness - no cutting or splicing required.
Features:
This custom-fit T-connector plugs into your vehicle's factory tow package wiring harness, which is located at the rear of your vehicle, slightly toward the driver's side.
Once installation is complete, the connectors will be stowed beneath your vehicle, near the trailer hitch. A mounting bracket is included to keep the connectors secure.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 7-pole and 4-pole connectors - to help prevent corrosion.
Note: Refer to the diagram above to determine if this harness will fit your application. The plugs on your vehicle must have 5 terminals on one side and 2 on the other. If your vehicle has 3 terminals on one side and 4 on the other, you will need wiring harness HM43385 instead.

Quickly and easily install a 4-way and 7-way trailer connector on your vehicle with this custom harness. T-connector plugs directly into OEM tow package wiring harness - no cutting or splicing required. These plugs worked great on my 2010 Toyota Tundra. I was having problems with running lights on my trailers not working on my stock plugs but once I installed the new plugs I have had no issues. Also I moved the plug location to up beside the license plate like many of the newer trucks on the market today. I would and have recommended these plugs to others.
Mounting instructions had it mounted too far back and behind the hitch, so if you live in the mountains, and you get snow banks, its cheap and thin plastic will break the minute you back over a snow bank. Still works, but the plastic cover has holes and cracks. I gave the company a chance to make it right and they said the 90 day warranty is expired on the 1 year anniversary email asking how I liked the product. No discount on another or anything, just pay full price for a new one. No one back their products anymore.
this worked out better then i hoped for, product was spot on, i was able to relocate it also, much better place for it, thanks !
The part was an exact replacement for the factory installed wiring harness. It was very easy to replace and got everything back up and running in no time at all.
I had to modify the bracket to fit on my tundra and there is some rust on the metal one year in. It's doing the job though, lights on trailer working A-ok.
The used 2008 Tundra I bought was missing the OEM wire harness for trailer lights, even though it had the OEM traier option. From the look of the rusty old hitch, obviously it had been used and abused until someone took it off. I crawled under the pickup and cleaned the connectors with some electrical cleaner. Then made sure the mount was on the new flats. I was really happy to hear a satisfying snap when the plugs went in. I then had to run a tap down the OEM mount attach points because the nuts welded on them were rusty. Luckily the bolts provided were the same thread. It took less than an hour. I was so pleased to see my trailer light up when I plugged it in to test.
Quality plug, and a perfect fit for the factory trailer wire connectors on my 2010 Tundra. I had to bend the mounting brackets a bit to get the plug to clear my Curt XD hitch, but the result is sturdy and looks good. etrailer was great to work with -- shipping was prompt, updates and tracking info was provided, and the item was as described.
This think worked just as advertised! I am so happy and was shocked how easy it installed,
20 minutes after getting the package I had working trailer lights. It plugged directly into my factory plug and replaced my existing relay that stopped working suddenly.
Mounting plate not compatible with existing OME undercarriage bracket. Had to remove OME bracket, drill new holes in new mounting plate to match existing OME threaded holes. Other than that, wiring connections fit fine.
Impressed by this. The plugs matched the OEM connection perfectly. I am impressed. I relocated the broken OEM trailer plug to next to the license plate. I never liked how trailer plugs have historically been located on or near the reciever.
Would definitely recommend.
Fits my 2007 Tundra SR5 perfectly. I did not buy this as a replacement but instead an addition. My tundra was purchased without the tow kit; however, the factory left harness in and all I had to do was plug this in (check to see if yours is already there). Saved me a bunch of money as Toyota wanted over 200$ for this part... Not to mention the "labor cost." I mounted it differently because of the Hitch I bought. I used this:

Install was easy, great product and fast delivery. I adjusted the mounting bracket to fit the way I wanted it to look but other than that I would recommend to others.
Exact fit for my 2007 Tundra. This is a high plug and play replacement for the Toyota part at way, way less cost. Hard shell plugs connecting to the chassis harness have silicon seals and the leads into the rear of the 7 way are potted. Leads are the same colors as OEM and everything tests out. My neighbour who also had to have his harness replaced (2008 Tundra) asked me to buy one for him as well. Being in Canada it was nice to see that the shipping costs are also very reasonable compared to some US sources.
If you are Canadian, you should check these guys out.
I received my Hopkins wiring harness and day before the estimated delivery date. The kit itself was very easy to install. I did need to slightly modify the mounting bracket to match up the factory mount on my 2008 Tundra. Installation took all of 20 minutes. That's from removal of the old to the install of the new (including securing the wires from rubbing on the frame with a couple ties). Very good replacement piece.
Thanks etrailer.com
5 star services. An incorrect part came in, with no questions asked they shipped me another within two days! Customer service was top notch as well!! I'll be making more purchases in the future
Needed Oem replacement for my Tundra traile connector and this almost fit like a glove/ no complaints. I do wish it was more “metal” vs plastics but it is what it is and overall it connected perfectly and the wires are a little stiff to work on the hitch; but all is good.
Worked just fine. Very pleased.
Plug and play.
Perfect ..... Fast shipping also. Moved location of outlets from below the bumper.
Great product and much more affordable than OEM. Removing the left license plate light makes for a great alternative spot for your trailer connection. The chance of hitting it on a big rock again is gone. Lots of room behind for the wire bundle.
The pigtail was not nearly as sturdy as the original; however it was much less expensive than the original part, and it has functioned just as well. Overall happy with purchase.
Product was easy to install. I actually installed it through the bumper so that I could not crush it AGAIN. With minor fabricating I had the old one out and the new one in within 25 minutes. Couldn't have been easier. Super fast delivery too!
Quick and easy to change out
Easy install and Still works great a year later
Recieved the part very fast. It was a perfect conversion. However, it is not a direct factory replacement and some drilling, etc. Is required.
I am very satisfied with this purchase.
