This custom-fit T-One connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located behind the driver's-side and passenger's-side interior trim panels in your rear cargo area.
Once installation is complete, the 4-way flat connector will be stowed in an out-of-the-way location within your cargo area.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.

The item was sent with the shipping label slapped on instead of putting it in a separate box. Disappointed.
The wiring harness worked out very well. I ran it in flexibale plastic conduit to protect the wires. Wire tied and electrical taped it to existing wiring harness...

I ran the right side light in a channel over the door (see pic of me pointing to it). I used an old tension rod to punch through the gasket and pull the wires through the body... no cords dangling out of my door!
I also installed the Curt Heavy Duty hitch and the 7 wire RV harness (for vans without factory wiring)... all using the video above.
If you can't figure out the install on this, then you should'nt be driving. Easy, fast and worth the price. I paired this with the wiring kit for trailer brakes and 7-wire harness and I'm ready to tow. 2007 Chevrolet Express AWD passenger van.
Wow I mean literally wow. This was so easy to put up. I raced my wife me putting this on her van vs her washing maybe 6 dishes and sweeping the kitchen I beat her by a long shot. It only took me 5 minutes to install on her van and run the wire under the van to hide the wires. When they said easy they meant every bit of it. But that's to be expected when purchasing from etrailer. Hands down my goto place for all my towing and van accessories even my commuter car back and forth to work. I have purchased a few things from them and I will say I have yet to be disappointed by there products. Will always shop here for my needs.
Both products were huge disappointment but this one was a total joke. The connectors do plug right in but the wires are too short to cleanly route or hide they have to be hanging in the air to reach - same behind the vehicle. This is worthless unless you just want the plugs, you will have to cut and buy a new flat to extend to your receiver unless you just want it all hanging from the plugs in the way of your cargo.

Installed in minutes appears to be a nice addition to our business for hauling more merchandise. BUT the four smaller flat pieces of steel that hold the bolt head spin inside the 2010 Chevy Express frame and torqueing to speck was not achieved. I was able to wedge 3 of the four plates with bolt to stop it from spinning and torqued to spec but left one middle one un torqued. The light kit will have to be installed when the vehicle is empty to access the panels for removal.
Stephan - 06/03/2020Just installed it today. Was a very easy job and am very pleased with my purchase. Getting ready to pull the boat tomorrow and as far as I can tell everything is in perfect working order. Would absolutely buy again.
Eileen - 04/14/2022The harness plugged in my express van , just like in the video. Perfect fit , took about 20 min , use caution when removing the trim panels , use a removal tool.

This wiring product worked perfectly plug and play. Hardest part was running wires from inside van to the outside. There is a removable cap at bottom of body pillar under brake lights. Easiest to remove cap and run single wire up and tape harness and pull back out.
Only problem I noticed is my van was prewired so I bought wrong kit but this kit worked perfectly so I just stayed with it.
Works even better attached to the heavy duty hitch that I got from etrailer too.
You shouldn't be disappointed with this easy to install product!
Only reason I gave it a 4, is because it was not designed to be used without closing the door on the cord. When you are not using it, you have to fold it up and out of the way till next time. The plus is it only takes about 10 minutes to install, and worked as it should
Easy to install. The installation video on E-trailer really helped.
I was ready to write a 5 star review as the hitch easily bolted on to the frame of my van. Good solid feel, fit perfect, simple, very satisfied. Same with the beginning of the wiring harness, and then a hard stop. There are no instructions for running the connector to the hitch. NONE. Not one word. The video on line was of a different model van I guess, cause that did not help either. They did not even say, "because vehicles are different you need to find a way". Like I said, not one word, almost implying you were done with the installation without running the connector to the hitch. Changed my opinion.
Quick shipping with good communication about when to expect delivery. But the shipping label was attached directly to the product box (so what if I need to return it in it's original packaging?) and the product box is not durable enough to ship UPS. It arrived open as shown in the picture.
I ordered this for a '99 Chevy, you sent one for an '03. For me to return your mistake I'm expected to pay the $19 return shipping charge. First time, last time customer.
