Installation
This custom-fit T-One connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located inside your trunk, behind the tail lights on both the driver's side and passenger's side. You will need to remove some interior trim or carpeting to access the harness.
Once installation is complete, the 4-way flat connector will be stowed within your trunk.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.
Circuit-Protected Tail Light Converter
A tail light converter is built into this T-One connector. Because most trailers run on a two-wire system - wherein the brake and turn signals are carried on one wire - the separate brake and turn signals from your vehicle's three-wire system need to be combined so they are compatible with the wiring system of your trailer. The tail light converter combines the brake and turn signal functions of your automobile so that they run on one wire to properly activate your trailer's tail lights. Note: This will not affect how the tail lights on your vehicle operate.
This converter safeguards itself and your vehicle against possible electrical shorts and overloads with integrated short circuit protection. Just install the connector as indicated and rest assured that the wiring system of your vehicle will remain feedback-free.

The ultimate in simplicity, truly plug and play, I remember the directions being clear and straightforward the product is ideal for my purposes
My shipment arrived and upon opening the bolts were missing, looked like they had fallen out of the bag that was shrink wrapped to the hitch. Called and spoke to Rose and she had the manufacture over night another hitch. Everything fit great, the wiring kit is too easy, the best I've had. I would highly recommend this company.

Um.... Simple!!!! the directions were very short, and for good reason, you just plug it into your existing lights. That's pretty sweet. This would get a 5 point rating if the directions said to use the red wire.... I was thinking that since it wasn't in the directions maybe they are used for a different car set-up... but then my trailer lights didn't work correctly... so I guess as to where to plug in the red wires, and it works great. Basically plug them into the break lights and the yellow and green get plugged into your blinkers. Soooo easy!!!!
Etrailer.com sent it to me with the trailer hitch, got it in about 5 days, and installed it within about 25 minutes.
It worked out fantastic for me... easy plug in installation... I installed it on to my Honda Civic. I had such good luck that I recommended the equipment to my buddy who had just purchased a Mazda SUV. His wasn't so easy and although the equipment worked fine, he ended up bring the vehicle to a garage because the ground wire needed to be run the entire length of vehicle and through firewall which a regular person may accomplish but not without a bit of a struggle. Just saying all applications are not as easy as they appear, but excellent product and works fine.
10 minute install, so easy, I think just about anyone could do this. I was amazed, usually with light kits or fog lamps, it is a project. This was great. Removing the formed carpet and plastic took longer that actually plugging it in and done. Great product e-trailer, glad to have online shopping like this.

Simple connections. Just basically you are putting jumpers on the brake, tail lights, and signals. My ground came loose on my teardrop and wasn't working. Thats my fault. Other than that, seamless install! Thanks.
No worries! Snaps in, literally in minutes. It takes longer to take panels off and bunngie tyre well lid up.

After a year the connections are still holding strong and working great. Haven’t had an issue with it. Very pleased.
