Speaker 1: Today, we're taking a look at a retractible tie down E-Track systems. The quick spring retraction feature on the two inch retractable E-Track tie down makes it easy and fast to chinch and tighten your cargo. This unit features a nice soft grip rubber handle. Makes it very comfortable to use while the retracting spool can keep your strap in place, or in storage when not in use.Another great feature or benefit of the retractible design is it really eliminates excess strap, so you don't have to worry about tying the strap off, and you don't have to worry about your strap flapping around as you head down the road.Now, the retractible tie down comes with a two inch wide by 10 foot long strap. It carries a working load limit of 1000 pounds. It's very easy to install in trailers and vehicles that are equipped with E-Track systems.

The strap is made from durable seatbelt-like material. The housing is surrounded with a durable plastic, and it also features numerous steal components, Which all have protective finishing to protect them from rust and corrosion.Now, I want to show you how the unit functions. Right now, it's in the fully locked position. This would be your travel position. You extend it.

You open it up all the way. You can lift up on this release lever, open the handle all the way. That allows you to extend the strap as needed, but as you can see, it retracts on it's own, so your never gonna have any excess strap. Once you have it connected, you take the release lever, bring it down to the middle position, and this is your ratcheting position. This allows you to tighten the strap around your cargo.

Real nice design. Then push it all the way back down when you're ready to hit the road.Now, this system is really cool because it offers both permanent and temporary installation options. You can use the included hardware to bolt this down to your trailer for a permanent installation. That's a nice option to have. Hardware is included.

Or you can actually use the hardware to attach your lead strap right there, and now you just created something like a standard ratchet strap that's temporary. You connect it to an E-Track system here, connect it to an E-Track system here. Obviously make sure your straps are secured around your cargo, and then start ratcheting down.Both options are available with this system. It's a really nice set up. Again, very easy to use. And we're looking at really nice quality materials when it comes to the construction. Again, nice durable strap. You have steel components all throughout. And then we also have nice protective finishing to keep everything safe from rust and corrosion. Now, this has the capacity of 3000 pounds. Safe working load limit is 1000 pounds. Two measurements to go over with you real quick. I want to give you a measurement of the overall width of the base here. That gives us a measurement of, I'm gonna say, edge to edge is about 3 13/16 of an inch to 3 7/8, right in that area. The overall length of the just the base portion, that's this right here, 6 1/8. And then the overall height, bottom to top, including this portion right here, that's actually about 3 7/16 of an inch tall.That's gonna do it for today's look at the retractible tie down E-Track systems.
