Today we're going to be taking a look at the Cargo Smart Landscape Tool Holder for E track and X track systems. Offering a 200 pound capacity, the part number is 3481741. Now, as you can see, this tool holder offers us a really good solution for getting our weed eaters, our pole saws, our limb saws, things like that off the floor of our trailer, off the floor of our garage, and up on the wall. You see we've got two holders here. The spring loaded top, really easy to get that trimmer in there, get it back out. And this is going to work for items with a diameter up to an inch and 7/8, two inches, right in that range.
It's got a nice wide opening, so regardless of the size it should fit in there.You'll notice the spring here on the back. That puts tension against our upper plate. You can see the heavy duty spring here in the back. That's pushing outward, keeping this plate out, keeping our tool in its place. When we're ready to use it we're going to grab our tool, lift 00:00:55 our thumb, lift it out.
Do the same thing on the other side and we're ready to get to work with it. Whenever we're done, just the reverse of that process. We'll bring it up. We're going to allow the tool to do the work. Push that in, push our other side in, and we're ready to head down the road.
Now, you'll notice there's plenty of room between the motor head here and the side of our trailer. While this is a residential sized motor, even your larger commercial motors, you shouldn't have any interference issues there at all.Now, overall this is a really heavy duty item. Just put your hands on it, you can feel the weight to it. So it's going to be good quality, and it has that heavy yellow zinc finish on it. So whether this is going to be using it inside or if you've got a utility trailer, you're going to be using it outside, it should last a very long time and we really shouldn't have to worry about corrosion.
Now, it offers a nice, heavy duty spring. Keeps a good amount of tension against this upper plate to keep it all the way out, but it's not so stiff that we're not going to be able to get our tool in and out of there easily.Now, as far as installation goes, it's going to work like any E or X track accessory. We've got our tab right here. We need to pull that in, and then that larger gap we'll take up into our track, tilt the bottom in. Just let it slide down until that tab engages. That'll keep it securely in position for us. And that'll complete our look at the Cargo Smart Landscape Tool Holder for E and X track systems, part number 3481741.

I use it has a holder mostly. I do not often remove the tool from the holders. spring tension is good for traveling, but sometimes a little hard to compress to remove the tool. I may look at adding some lubricant.
Hard to get the trimmers out, we use ours now without the clamp

Great heavy duty product and is a clean install but the only thing I didn’t like was once the landscape tool holder is installed although secure it is a little wobbly while attached to the Etrack. Other than that it’s awesome and I would purchase it again.

These work okay, we went away from them because you have to release both ends and the metal can try to cut into your handles. We now run greentouch racks
In order this be 5 star... add rubber things inside those clips so that trimmers don’t move around as much

Stiff clamps. Very loose on e-track.
Not that easy to open for to retrieve tools, it holds great but it came apart once already, ( nothing major but it was a surprise), spring came off, easy to reassemble, but still.
