Easy to use with E-track attachments. Low-profile and snag-free when hauling cargo that does not need the E-tracks as attachment points. I have used these for several interstate trips with no complaints-- still look good as new.

by:

We used the E-Track system in conjunction with the Erickson E-Chocks, Erickson Roller Idler, and the Erickson E-Track Strap with Ratchet to hold down the car in our enclosed trailer. Installation was easy and was completed in a short amount of time. This eliminates the trip hazard of straps extending to D Rings, and eliminates potential damage from tie downs connected to frame on rough roads. I would highly recommend this system to anyone needing to tie down anything with tires.

by:

Excellent product! I bought 2 of the 4-ft e-tracks. These are heavier duty than I thought they would be. They are extremely practical for my 10' wood floored utility trailer. If you are like me, there aren't many good tie down points on wood bottomed trailers. These are an easy fix for a host of applications. They work great for having multiple points to tie down my 4-wheeler or lawnmower. I will definitely recommend! The only better would have been free shipping.

This E-Track (and E-Track straps) was installed on the wall of my box trailer to secure a rolling took chest. It has performed flawlessly. Thanks again etrailer, for a great product.

No Problems, Great product

Works great. Easy install. Highly recom mended

by:

Needed for strapping down to the floors or walls. Super easy install.

by:

The following review is the same as the one I left for the 2ft E-Track. This track is very well built and makes securing cargo in my trailer easy and convenient. Installation was a snap with an extra helping hand. Highly recommend upgrading walls in an enclosed trailer to a quality plywood .46 inches or thicker, to be able to utilize the track to its full potential. The only drawback I had with the track is that the holes are not drilled out to 5/16th's like the backing plates. I had to drill out the holes I used with my step drill bit to ensure my 5/16th's hardware worked. Highly recommend utilizing grade 5 or higher nuts and bolts for a secure, reliable installation.

Anchors are very well built and have performed extremely well. They fit on the E-Track perfectly and have not failed to hold their load safely. Highly Recommended!!

by:

Decked out my new cargo trailer with this e-track. Looks sweet! Heavy gauge construction. Easy installation. Along with the Erickson E-Track straps now I'm ready to haul just about anything safely and securely. Thanks etrailer!

Still loving it! Thanks for the follow up.

The product was good but the box it came in was horrible. They were loose inside a way oversized box and had busted out the end. There was about 5” of the tracks sticking out of the box that could have been damaged or fallen completely out and been lost.

by:

I LOVE e-track. It is 100X easier to tie stuff down in my trailer when I can move my tie down points to suit each unique load, compared to fixed tie down products.

I put two rows of eTrack on each side of my trailer. Not only does that give me tons of tie down options, but using their 2x4 anchors I can make a movable barrier to separate things that are too small to tie down, so they don't move around. For example helping someone move all their household crap -- put all the small stuff in the front, and keep it there with a barrier that I can position anywhere I want.

eTrailer has these tracks at a great price compared to Harbor Freight and Northern Tools. And these tracks are much heavier gauge than the tracks carried by those stores.

by:

I ordered a variety of e-track components from etrailer to install in my 20ft enclosed Haulmark trailer. With only four factory installed recessed D-rings the trailer offered very few tie down options. Etrailer extensive product catalog provided one-stop shopping and their videos were very helpful when researching configuration and installation options. All products arrived on schedule and I am very impressed with the quality.

by:

Bought E-Track to attach to the walls of my 5th Wheel Toy Hauler to attach stuff. Found out that I don't have any studs to anchor to. Attached to the paneling with anticipation that they would not stay, I was wrong. Holding very well and I am totally pleased with the results.

by:

The E-Track system I purchased is vey well designed and easy to install. This system works great in my trailer that secures my classic cars. I definitely recommend this E-Track system as it is a great product.

by:

Etrailer supplied the equipment I needed at a great price and shipped the the northwest coast with on days from when I placed the order.
All the e-track hardware and equipment was in stock and arrived packaged very well with no shipping damage.
The e-track is heavy duty, much more than I had expected and it was easy to install.
Looking forward to upgrading my trailer even more from etrailer.

Thanks again!

by:

Excellent build quality, very easy to install and exceeded expectations.

by:

The track is good. I have not gotten to use it much since I put it in a trailer that is used for sound engineering and the coronavirus pretty well squashed all the business. But I like it and I'm happy with the product.

by:

I installed these in a 6x14 box trailer with 1/4" sheet metal screws into the metal framing (side panel). They are strong and provide a lot of flexibility. I use the horizontal tube and rectangular holders for fishing poles, pipes and other similar gear. Goes well with E59143 also and the various hooks like EM59142.

I used 2 4' horizontals and 2 2' horizontals to provide good coverage on the door side of my trailer and am very pleased with the install.

by:

The E-Track and D-Rings are great. The shipping was super fast. The only downside was the E-Track sections were wrapped together with shipping tape, so after pulling off the tape, there was a lot of "goo" left on the surfaces. Took awhile to clean everything off.

by:

Yes I did receive the order and it was exactly what I needed. I installed the etrack on my trailer and hauled my bike to Florida. It worked great and I didn’t have to worry about the tie downs coming loose.

Thanks

by:

Great product. E track was straight and not damaged on delivery. One box for the long pieces 5' should have been smaller, a lot of waisted space on shipping. Easy to install, watch their video on installation which helps alot. Does take some time to install.

by:

Haven’t installed yet. Package was tore up some but dont see any damage yet. All good

by:

Bought four tires and wheels for not much more $ than tires only at local tire store. Got them 4 days after order. I would rather bolt them on myself than sit in a tire store.

by:

I received my order a few days ago. Everything was there and well packaged. I had great help and answered my questions. Now the work begins installing my E-track on my new car trailer and getting everything to work the way I want it to. Thanks etrailer for your help.
Sincerely,
Steve S.

by:

Tracks work good but the straps I got are terrible. They only pull up snug, you can’t ratchet them down tight. The straps work loose quite often and I have to reattach them. I would not buy them again.

by:

I ordered several pieces of e-track. Price was very good, shipping was free, and they arrived on schedule. The e-track itself is what I expected, so good experience all the way around.

  • Is Securing E-Tracks to Beams 16 inches Apart in Trailer Strong Enough
Yes, the E-Tracks like the part # EM19147 can be installed like you described. Having them attached to beams at 16 inches apart like you mentioned would be adequate to support the weight of securing your motorcycles.

  • Can Erickson Horizontal E-Track # EM19147 be Used on Plywood
If you used at least every other mounting hole to secure the E-track part # EM19147 to the plywood and the wood itself was rated for the weight as well you'd be totally fine.

  • Mounting E-Track on Plywood Floor of Aluminum Frame Trailer
If you didn't want to drill down into the frame of your trailer you could use short wood screws to attach to just the plywood floor. I would recommend using a screw in every hole though for the # EM19147.

  • How Much Can the Erickson Vertical E-Tracks Hold
The Erickson Vertical E-Track part # EM19147 that you referenced has a 6,000 lb total weight capacity. If you were using two of them, one on each side with a beam in between then the weight capacity would then be doubled. Therefore, the tracks themselves are not going to be the weak link but rather how you anchor them. It is going to be difficult to attach the tracks to a cylindrical pipe but it can be done. The best way in my opinion would be to make a backing plate with mounting holes...

  • Recommendations for Attaching E-Track to Floor of Aluminum Trailer
I'd recommend through bolting the e-track into the available cross members under the trailer floor. You'll want to fasten the e-track to the floor in between those points, but the fasteners you'd use and how many of them will depend on the structure of the floor. If you're talking a wood plank floor, you have plenty of floor structure for the fasteners to bite into, so attaching the track every foot or so would be fine. If the floor is thinner metal, you'll want to use self tapping screws...

  • Is Strength of E-Tracks Based on Direction They Support Weight
The E-tracks were designed to give quite a bit of flexibility in how they can support weight. But in general forward to back would be a bit stronger just based on how the mounting holes line up and the leverage they would have over the cargo. If the angles aren't severe there wouldn't be a noticeable difference. On a two inch wood floor wood screws would be just fine. I would go with at least every other hole used on the tracks for max strength.

  • Recommendation on the Number of Tie-Down Straps Needed When Securing Vehicle Using E-Track Rails
You will be able to secure your ATVs to your trailer using two Erickson E-Track Wheel Tie Downs. # EM58523, on two wheels of each one of your vehicles. These Erickson tie-down straps will connect to an E-track rail, like the Erickson 4 Foot E-Track Section # EM19147, to allow you to safely secure your ATV to your trailer. The straps measure 12 feet long and will have plenty of length to fit the 31 inch tires on your Polaris RZR. I have attached two product review videos of both the Erickson...

  • How Far Apart Are Mounting Holes For Erickson Horizontal E-Track EM19147
The mounting holes are 2 inches apart, and to ensure its full capacity we do recommend screws in every mounting hole for the Erickson Horizontal E-Track # EM19147. While we do not have the mounting hardware, the mounting holes are 1/4" diameter, so that's the size you'd want, with the correct length depending on how thick your wooden planks are; just be sure to get wood screws which I'm sure you knew but I just wanted to be thorough for you. This will work great with the Erickson E-Chock...

  • Should Erickson ATV E-Track Tie-Down Kit be Used on All 4 Wheels of 1,936 Pound Polaris Ranger
The 1,500 pound working load limit (WLL) for the Erickson ATV E-Track Tie-Down Kit # EM09160 referenced in your question does refer to the combined capacity of both straps and chocks. Since your Polaris Ranger weighs close to 2,000 pounds, I do recommend using two of these sets to secure all four of its wheels to the trailer. This tie-down kit will provide you with 4 wheel chocks and 2 ratchet tie-down straps for securing 2 wheels. The ratchet straps feature E-track fittings that will...

  • E-Track ATV Wheel Chock for Securing ATVs in Trailer
We don't have any E-track ratchet straps that are as short as you are wanting but I have a different solution that I think you would like with the Erickson ATV E-Track Tie-Down Kit w/ Ratchet Straps and Wheel Chocks # EM98CV. You'd mount these on your trailer floor in the same direction as your two ATVs so that you can secure them by just the tires.

  • E-Track Recommendation for 7 foot by 12 foot Trailer to Secure Tractor
E-track would work great for securing your tractor. Since your trailer is 12 inches long you could use three sections of 4 foot long E-tracks like part # EM19147 and you'd have track that runs from front to back on your trailer floor. For a tie down anchor to fit the track we have the part # 59147 which will work well. And then for straps the I recommend a ratcheting tie-down strap like part # EM51330. This tie-down strap measures 1-1/2 inches x 15 ft, and has a working load limit of 1,300 lbs.

  • How To Secure a Car with Raised Letters On Tires Using Wheel Strap Tie-Downs
Yes, the Erickson E-Track Wheel Tie-Down Strap part # EM58523 is exactly what you are looking for as it does not come into contact with the face of the tire like the Erickson Adjustable Wheel Net with E-Track Fittings part # 77314 does. • Spacing the Tracks When Installing E-Track to Metal Floor of Car Hauler
If you are planning on using an E-track wheel strap like the part # EM58523 (which would be your best and easiest option for securing the vehicle), you would want to space the E-track sections the exact same width as the tires on your vehicle. Right down the middle like in the picture I attached would be ideal. The ratings for the tracks is the amount of weight they can secure. So part # EM19147 can secure up to 6,000 lbs.

  • Tips for Installing E-Track on a Trailer with Tube Aluminum Frame
On an 4 foot long section of E-track # EM19147 and 2 screws every 16 inches that is a total of 6 screws in the aluminum frame. This most likely will not get you near the capacity of the E-track. I recommend bolting through the aluminum frame so that the fasteners are anchored. This is harder to do since you need access to both sides of the vertical supports of the frame. Another option is to use several backing plates, # e96RR, which will disperse the weight over a larger area. So if...

  • What is Weight Capacity of Erickson Horizontal E-Track # E19135
The weight capacity for the Erickson Horizontal E-Track # EM19147 you referenced is 6,000 lb for the entire track. It is not rated per slot. 6,000 lbs is the max load/break strength which is basically where it would fail at and the safe working load limit is 2,000 lbs.
