Hey, everybody, welcome to etrailer.com, I'm Bobby. And today we're taking a look at the Coghlan Survival Candle. Now we never know when that situation may arise when we need a little bit of light and heat, and this guy can definitely go a long way. You're gonna see that we have about three independent wicks and each one is gonna have 12 hours of total burn time. So therefore, if we appropriately ration ourselves, we can get the 36 hours of light and heat from this guy. Now, one thing to take note though, Coghlan's does go ahead and suggest that we go ahead and utilize about three hours per wick in a rotation basis.
Therefore, we have a nice even spread across the entirety of the candle. It doesn't have too much smell, which is great, too, especially for an enclosed space like a trailer, an RV, or a fifth wheel, therefore we don't have any noxious fumes adding to our overall headache already being in an emergency situation. You will see, too, it comes in this nice durable metal, the canister is gonna be holding up well for ourselves, protecting our candle. It makes it really easy to throw this in anywhere. It can be the container outside, inside the RV, anywhere, you know it's gonna be holding up quite nice for ourselves.
It also is gonna come with this included matchbook. It's gonna have about 20 matches in here, and of course you can use any match or lighter to set these guys aflame, however, it can be great to go ahead and keep these guys attached and with it, therefore you always have an independent system ready to light your candle. We'll go ahead and give ourselves a closer look here at some of the dimensions. Overall diameter here is gonna be putting this right at 4 1/4 inches there on the outside, I should say. And our overall height is gonna be putting us at 1 inch and 3/8 inches there.
