The hitch installed just as the video from Curt demonstrated. I suggest watching it before getting started as will make the process easier. I have not used it yet but I’m very pleased with the fit and quality of the build. I will adjust my review as needed once I have towed with it.

Excellent product. Easy to assemble upon receipt. Hitch head can be removed from body to lighten the weight for removal from truck bed.

The hitch has worked very well and the swivel head makes for a smooth ride. My only complaint is that the stickers that indicate locked positions. Faded after a month and are now white.....but not a big deal.

it works good i dont like that you can't unhook your trailer in less the truck is perfectly straightforward .you can't remove safety pin on handle so to get around that issue before I park i turn pin upside down and remove it from the bottom of handle

Easy accurate ordering. Assembly was simple, install was perfect. Matched up exact to the Ram Factory setup. Only thing I needed to do was adjust one T-Bolt. Be prepared, it is heavy. Almost too much for one person.

This hitch allows the head to be removed by puling a single pin, which allows the head and the base to be removed individually. This will make things a little easier to handle for you.

2014 Dodge Ram Pickup
Have been waiting for a 5th mount for my 2014 RAM that wasn't over priced. The price point is great and the mount is much better than I thought it would be, for quality.
I was able to install it in under an hour.
The manual that came with it was clear and easy to follow.

I have really been enjoying the Curt 5th wheel hitch. Easy to install and remove. Great quality and instructions that are easy to understand. I looked at hitches that cost a lot more but didnt offer anymore than the Curt.I put off buying a 5th wheel hitch for about 2 years because the one that fit my truck from RAM was about three times to cost!I also found out that the hitch is made about 30 miles from my home

2016 Dodge Ram Pickup
I have this hitch in a 2016 2500 Ram 6.7L diesel.
I am pulling a 12,000 lb 5th wheel and don't have the chatter that I had before with a different hitch. This is a very strong hitch.
The only negative that I have on this hitch is that it is difficult to close the hitch jaws when the hitch is not in use. It anyone else has had the same problem and has found a cure for this please let others know what you are doing.

Product was very easy and straight forward to install. Great price on this. Lighting shipping as always with Etrailer.
It's Important to have a second hand as I fumbled with it myself hunched down in the garage due to rain. This item assembled weighs 178lbs. Not easy to dead lift on your knees. Due to time constraint on my part I had to do it all by myself. Work safely. As it's important to know how to use leverage to move weight. Take your time. That is the most important part. Double check your work. Even when coupling and uncoupling.
Hook up is easy. Make sure your tail gate is off or down when coupling and uncoupling. Save dents/damage in your tail gate. Make sure to put the safety pin in the handle to keep it from uncoupling going down the road.
It will be used to pull a 5th wheel camper to campgrounds, Florida and South Dakota to visit family and friends a couple times a year.

Delivery was fast less than a week,product work for application. Install was straight forward took 45 min or so once I figured out what the direction we're trying to explain. Have a 20015 2500 Ram with factory pucks fit was real easy. Think the direction could have been clearer with better illistration. Have 2014 Cougars high Mt. 33ft needed to set the hitch at lowest level on mount but think it will work just fine. Bought c16520_c16021
Wish I would have gotten this first I was told that I could use my old fifth wheel with pitchers frame adaptor but when I install it it made the hitch sit to high for the trailer and would not work with my old fifth wheel hitch.

well built hitch. Was packaged well looked like it was rolled to my house instead of trucked ,but had no damage or even scratches on it. Was easy to install in pieces. It is heavy, cant get the head to come off the base. The pin comes out easy, but the rubber bushing is real tight in it. It may loosen up with some use. Overall a nice hitch, hooks and unhooks nice an easy.

Still working great and an ease to use. Very sturdy feel very confident with the way jaws close.
