Today on our 2001 Honda Accord, we're going to be showing you the Highland semi-custom fit floor mats in gray, part number 45030. These mats are also available in black, part number 46030 and tan, part number 44030. Now to start off we have to cut this tab off of our mat to get this little thing to come off. Just score it up here. Once you have it scored, it just tears off. You can clean that up if you want to to make it a little cleaner looking.

If you have any factory mats, it's always a good idea to remove those. On our driver's side, we're going to go ahead and install our first mat. When you install these, it's nice to have your seats all the way back so that you can make sure it fits as it's supposed to. As you can see, it's going to avoid your latch for your trunk and your gas cap on the Honda Accord and around the foot rest here. It's nice because it reaches up underneath the pedals, so you've got good coverage. As you can see on this Honda Accord, this has caused some wear here.

Now we're going to have a nice floor mat with this reinforced square so that when our heel is hitting the floor, we've got some reinforced rubber to avoid that getting any deeper. It has nice deep grooves to hold in all that mess that you might get from the rain or snow or mud or whatever you might have tracked into your car. This raised outer lip is going to keep all the mud and water in your mat instead of on your carpet. It adds a little retaining wall to keep everything where you want it. It's got these nice anti-skid spikes on the back to keep it in place, so it doesn't slide around as you're going down the road or getting in and out of your car. This all-weather mat is unaffected by chemicals such as battery acid or oil as well as mud or extreme temperatures.

Now that we've seen the Highland mat on our driver's side, let's go over to the passenger side and see how that one fits. Again, as you can see, this goes all the way up underneath the dash. Since it is a pliable rubber, it conforms to the contours of your floorboard. It sits nice and even there. These floor mats are also extremely easy to clean.
