Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at this WeatherTech Tan HP 2nd Row Rear Auto Floor Mat. Now, this mat has been laser measured to fit your 1999 to 2006 Chevrolet Silverado Extended Cab, and your GMC Sierra Extended Cab without the optional toolbox, then your 2007 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra, both new body with the extended cab. Now, on custom fit parts, such as this mat, I do recommend taking advantage of our vehicle fit guide here at etrailer.com. Input the year, make, and model of your vehicle, and our fit guide will confirm if this will work for you, or if we have something comparable that will work for you. Now, this custom molded floor liner is going to contour perfectly to your Sierra or Silverado.
This is semi-rigid, so it is going to maintain its shape for superior coverage, and the raised outer edge is going to give you three dimensions of coverage. The front, the back, and the sides of your truck's floorboards are gonna be partially covered, and this single-piece mat is going to ensure complete coverage for you. Now, I'm not gonna be able to fit it completely in frame here, but I do kind of want to give you a closeup here just to show you a little more detail of the mat here, so, let me move this over here just a little bit to show you. This specially designed ribs and treads channel fluids, dirt, and debris, and your feet will stay up and out of the messes so that mud, and snow, and water, and debris can be channeled away. So, hopefully you get a good view of that, and then when I flip this over, (mat thumping) just turn this over like this so you can see, we do have these anti-skid nibs, and let me see if I can give you an overhead view of that.
Maybe you can see it a little bit better We have these anti-skid nibs that are on the backs here, and what they're gonna do, as you probably know, is they're gonna hold onto that carpet inside of your Sierra or Silverado, so, you're not gonna have to worry about this liner easily shifting around when you get in and out of your truck, so, they're gonna hold in place really well for you. Now, this mat is made here in the USA of rubberized thermal plastic material. So, this is flexible, but yet, it's very durable, and it's not going to break down in extreme weather environments. And an added plus is this is going to also be recyclable. Now, this tan finish (palm thumping) is gonna go with most of your interiors, and it's a really nice tan color.
Let me give you another view overhead, even though this isn't gonna fit in frame. Kinda gives you a a brighter look at that color, at that finish. So, very durable option for you, very rugged option. (palms thumping) This is going to do a great job of keeping the inside of your truck clean, and this does have (palms tapping) a limited lifetime warranty from WeatherTech. The floor mats are a disappointment. They are too big and just don’t fit right. I removed the factory mats, but the only way they might possibly fit is if I remove all factory carpeting. I’m not going to do that. The hold down anchors are also in the wrong spots, none of the four anchors line up. They are not worth the price.

They fit great. Do trim them so they don’t get caught by the lower edge of the door and curl them up. Just noticed that there was trim instructions on the bottom of the mat. Now they fit great.

Etrailer did a great job getting us just what we ordered.
HOWEVER, feedback to weather tech... we were looking for something that could cover up the metal latches on the floor in the back of the Jeep, bc my dog sits back there. This doesn't do what i needed it to do.
We may get a super cheap, cut out mat or a yoga mat for him.
I think he may have cut himself on one of the metal hooks. They are there for the storage bay, which we took out to make room for - guess who, ... the dog, LEVI!
I'll come back and add photos later..... Both of the DOG and the Mat!

I have always purchased the floor liners however I decided to try the 3d floor mats for my new truck. These are every bit as good as the liners in my opinion. They provide extra coverage over the door sills and are more pliable as well. The Weathertech name is imprinted on the mat instead of the label on the floorliners which will over time lose the adhesive backing and become dislodged with the heel of your shoes. Unfortunately I've had this experience with the floorliners, while not affecting its performance, it can be unattractive with glue residue left behind. I've always let the liners or mats sit out of the box at room temperature for 24 hours then install with perfect fitment every time. If you're on the fence about these mats give them a try, you won't be disappointed.
