We tested the above gas cans using the included adapters. The large adapter is confirmed to fit most utility jugs and racing jugs (VP Racing, Sunoco, Risk Racing). The other included adapters are confirmed to fit cans made by:
No need to fiddle with your gas can or worry about leaks while you siphon from it. Instead, set it and forget it with this automatic fuel pump. The nozzle has a clip that attaches it to the tank of your vehicle, preventing it from falling out and causing a spill. Once everything is in place, just press the "On" button and the auto-stop sensor in the nozzle will detect when the tank is full and shut the pump off on its own.

Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna take a look at this Tera Pump battery powered ethanol transfer pump for gas cans and racing utility jugs. This battery powered pump is going to let you transfer fuel from your gas can to your vehicle. It's gonna be perfect for your garage, your shop, having it around for your yard and farms and even on the docks. Now this pump will be great to have at the race track because of the included racing can adapter that's going to fit various North American plastic utility jugs. Now this pump is compatible with liquid chemicals such as pure ethanol, methanol, depth and non chlorinated brake cleaner. However, it is not compatible with E15, E30 and E85 gasoline diesel, drinking water, concentrated acids, acetone, benzine, creosol, ethyl, phenol, methyl ethyl, concentrated caustic liquid soda, nitric acid, hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, thinners, or solvents.
Now this pump is going to work with a variety of containers and the four included adapters are going to fit most standard North American plastic gas cans and racing utility jugs. This is going to work with utility jugs, racing jugs, VP racing, MR Gasket, Midwest can, no spill can, sceptor and Briggs and Stratton GarageBoss cans. So I do have a variety of different gas cans here and it's gonna be very simple. You're just going to find the adapter that best fits your particular gas can and fasten it tightly. So you can see, for instance I have a Midwest can right here.
So I'm just gonna go ahead and put this adapter on and as simple as that, it's going to secure. And then you're just going to run your intake hose through the adapter. So I've got a Midwest can here and then I have a blitz can here as well and that's going to fit very tight and secure. And I also have a RotopaX can here. And just to zoom out here a little bit on the RotopaX, I discovered that you don't need an adapter for, that this will go directly on the can.
So just tighten this down. And so that's what this is going to look like on your can. So on the RotopaX can I discovered you're not going to need an adapter for a nice secure fit. Now taking a look at this intake hose, the overall length that, of this intake hose is going to be right at 23 inches long. So you're gonna have a good amount of length for getting to, not only in the can, but also near the bottom of the can as well, depending on how big your can is.
The overall diameter is about one and three 16th inches. So again, you're not gonna have any problems fitting this intake hose through the opening of your typical gas can. This does have a locking clip on the discharge hose and this is going to secure the nozzle on your receiving receptacle, providing a hands free experience. And then when you're finished this pump features a built in holder right here and that's going to store your discharge nozzle safely when you are not using it. Now the discharge hose length overall is gonna be right at 51 inches. Let me uncurl that there a little bit. So you're gonna have 51 inches of length. So I think that's going to give you plenty of hose to, especially if you have your tank on the ground, you're not gonna have to worry about lifting that tank to fuel a vehicle. So plenty of length there. And the flow rate is going to be up to 2.3 gallons per minute. Now our power buttons on this water resistant cover is going to allow for easy operation. And then this does have an auto-stop sensor that's going to stop the flow when the tank is full. The hole and the pump head, and that hole is right through there, is going to prevent leaks and the airflow is gonna stop the fuel from continuing to siphon when you turn the pump off. Now this is powered by four AA batteries and this does not include batteries. But if you are in need of batteries we do carry those here @etrailer.com. And four AA batteries are going to allow a transfer of approximately 250 gallons over their lifetime. In a pinch though, you can use two AA batteries to power this and transfer up to 125 gallons. Now just some overall dimensions of the pump itself, the height of the head, so how much this is going to be sitting above your gas can is gonna be about three and a quarter inches tall. And then the overall width is sitting right at about four and a quarter inches wide. And a instruction sheet is included to walk you through some of the features of this pump to make sure that you are using it appropriately and correctly. Well, that's gonna conclude our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy, thank you for joining me..
