Hi, there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Risk Racing EZ3 utility jug. This is a three-gallon utility jug that will allow you to transport your liquids safely and securely. It's constructed of an HDPE plastic, so it is going to be very durable for you. And right out of the gate, I do wanna make sure that you understand this does not meet the ASTM, EPA, ARB, or other official agencies descriptions of a portable fuel container. So if you do use it as a fuel container or a gas can, you may be violating your state's law.

So you do wanna make sure you're checking your state laws for your legal requirements, but this will work great for your non-potable water, your antifreeze, engine oil, gear oils, hydraulic fluid, and transmission fluid, those sort of things. It does have your fluid level measurements molded into the plastic here on the front, both your liters and your gallons, so you can make sure that you've got enough for your trip. It does have an ergonomic design with these three handles so that you can very easily hold onto it as you're pouring, make sure that you've got full control over it. On the top backside of our handle here, we do have an aluminum breather that's going to allow for adjustable venting. It does have a rubber gasket or a rubber overing there so that when we have it completely tightened down, it's gonna prevent any liquid from spilling from that vent hole and it is placed away from your cap so that as you're pouring, you're not gonna have to worry about liquid coming out of that vent hole there.

Looking at our measurements, this is approximately 17 inches tall by about 10.5 inches and about 6.5 inches wide. There are several accessories that are available for this if you want to add on an HDPE rubber hose bender spout, or a floor mount, and that will allow you to snap this in place so you don't have to worry about it tipping over. I do wanna point out, our cap here does have this plug that will loosen up so that you can mount your hose bender spout if you wanted to add that on, just threads in place there. But this does have an overing on there, so it's gonna give you a nice secure seal even if you're just using it with the cap.
