When you are trying to pour highly flammable fuel, the last thing you want is a big spill. The self-venting system on this can is designed to prevent that. It ensures a smooth flow of liquid without the "glug, glug, glug" experience that you get with other cans.
The vent is located on top of the handle, underneath the yellow trigger, and it must be kept open for liquid to flow from the jugs's spout. To open the vent, simply press down on the back of the trigger so that the front part of the trigger raises up. Because you don't have to tip this jug to pour - just position the flexible spout at the angle you need - it'll be easy to hold the trigger in place. As soon as your reservoir is full, just release the trigger and the flow of liquid will stop.
When handling a flammable liquid, safety must be a priority. Filling a fuel can seem straightforward, but a little spilled fuel and a spark can have disastrous consequences. SureCan's safety fill cap can prevent potential accidents. When you want to fill your jug at the pump, just pull back the top and stick the nozzle in the hole. Don't worry about forgetting to scew the cap back on and spilling fuel, because the spring-loaded top will snap back in place when you remove the nozzle.
When you stick the nozzle into your jug, you will push past a rubber barrier called the Flame Mitigation Device (FMD) or flame arrestor that is built into the cap. The FMD stops flammable fuel vapors from escaping and prevents flames or sparks from getting inside the can. Such a simple device can really make all the difference when fueling up.

Hi, everybody, Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at our Surecan diesel can, and it's made for two gallons of diesel fuel. So, folks, with this, you're gonna be able to pour your diesel fuel into your vehicle, ATV, snowmobile, tractor implement, whatever, something like that. It's gonna work with non-corrosive liquids, such as diesel. It does use a nice flexible rotating spout that just simply pops up or down. And you can move it pretty much any direction you want, and then be able to fill in tight spots maybe.
I've seen some side-by-sides out there over the years that maybe have some stuff over the, or under the seats that kind of fold up and maybe the bed of like a tilt bed or something. So that's gonna give you a lot more flexibility to get down inside of those tight reaches and stuff as well. You got the safety lever here to stop the flow. And then it's spring loaded, so then it'll allow you to let the air in or out for whenever you're pouring and dispensing the fuel. Now, you can stop the flow of liquid by letting go of this trigger here, like I was just showing you.
So you'd have this down, you have to depress this to get it to start flowing. And then as soon as you let go of this spring load here, it's gonna stop the flow. Over here, you got the fill cap. It's a very heavy-duty spring. And once you lift this up, you would insert the nozzle to fill the diesel fuel, and it has these, I'm gonna call 'em like rubberized, kind of perforations right there.
And again, when you push the spout in, it's gonna go in, it's gonna keep fumes from coming out and everything. So it's called a fire arrester, and that prevents fire or explosion by creating a barrier between the fuel and any outside spark. Now, it's got a nice ergonomic handle here, it's gonna give you nice grips, you don't have to worry about dropping it or anything like that. Just makes it a little easier to carry as well. So overall, on dimensions, it's 14 inches long, nine inches wide, and about 12 1/8 inches tall all the way up here from the ground.
Again, that holds two gallons. When it's empty, it weighs two and a half pounds. Nice, heavy-duty construction. And that's gonna wrap it up, folks. That's our look at the Surecan diesel can for two gallons. I'm Steven, thanks for watching.
