With the B&W Turnoverball underbed gooseneck trailer hitch you get the best of both worlds. When you go to tow, the Turnoverball creates a sturdy, dependable connection with your gooseneck trailer. And when you're done towing, you can stow the ball upside down in the hitch to get full bed access and a clean appearance.
The durable steel hitch ball included with the Turnoverball system secures in the hitch with a sturdy, 5/8" thick steel pin that is incorporated into the end of the operating handle. To lock the ball in place, drop it into the hitch hole in the bed of your truck. Then rotate the handle in your driver's-side wheel well counterclockwise until the latch engages. When the latch is engaged, the spring-loaded pin on the end of the handle will be inserted all the way through the base of the hitch ball, forming a strong, solid connection and ensuring absolute security when you're towing.
When you're done towing, remove the hitch ball by simply pulling the handle out as far as it will go and then rotating it clockwise until it unlatches. Remove the ball, flip it upside down, and drop it back into the ball hole of the hitch. Then reengage the latch to secure the stowed ball in place.
Unlike typical gooseneck balls - which have round bases - the Turnoverball hitch ball is designed with a square base. This makes latching the ball in the hitch easier because the base won't rotate inside of the hitch like a round base might, so lining the pin up is a snap. The base of the ball also fits tightly within the ball hole during storage. Because only the corners of the base contact the sides of the socket, any dirt or grime that gets into the hitch will fall through the socket, thus helping to prevent any buildup that could cause the ball to seize up in the hitch.
Simple, Custom Installation
This hitch is custom designed for your vehicle. The included mounting brackets bolt to existing holes in your truck's frame. While some modification is required - you will need to cut a 4" diameter hole in your bed for the hitch ball and drill holes for the built-in safety chain loops - there is no need to weld onto or to drill into your frame.
Once you have the hitch brackets and body installed, set up the operating handle. This handle is designed to be accessed from the rear driver's-side wheel well. On the end of the handle is the heavy-duty steel pin that secures the hitch ball.
B&W makes it easy to tow just about anything. With the many adapters and accessories available, the Turnoverball can be made to work with almost any gooseneck trailer. Hitch balls are available that have a built-in rise, an offset, and even a different connection type. Add on the Companion fifth-wheel hitch - which attaches directly to the Turnoverball with no other parts required - and you can tow your fifth-wheel trailer.

If you’re like me and don’t want to cut your fender liners I simply removed the front bed bolts and jacked one side up to slide in the mounting rails. The only fender I had to cut was the drivers side to allow for the latch pin lever. I really like just how “flush” the hitch really is once you turn over the ball. Overall very impressed with the hitch so far and have already recommended the hitch to other family members and friends.
Your product has worked very well and helped us enjoy many camping trips with our RV. Instillation was very doable even for a novice to that kind of install. Thanks for producing a quality product. I would encourage others to trust your hitch products!

Great hitch. Fast delivery. On a scale of 1-5 for difficult install it is a 4. Cousin and I took about 41/2 hours. We jacked up rear of truck put jack stands under. I think hardest part was torque wrench. Not much room under truck. Would highly recommend this hitch to anyone who needs one.
Works great. I bought the 4in. Offset hitch to use in it with my 6.5 ft chevy box , I can leave my trifold tonneau on.

Best gooseneck hitch period. I've had and installed several over the years, for myself and others. Best working mechanism for ball release. Easy installation. Did mine by myself, using a jack stand and a ratchet strap to hold the hitch head.

The hitch showed up fairly quick. All parts were there and everything looked great. Instructions were very clear and hitch fit great
Hitch is exactly as advertised. Drilled hole for ball receiver exactly where the instructions said and it was almost spot needed 1/8" for perfect fit.
Otherwise installation went smoothly. Took me a little over two hours. Everything fit well. Took me awhile to master the bolt holders they sent with the kit. Installation looked good when finished. Picture isn't that good but will give you idea of what finished install will looks like. I am going to have the bed sprayed with Line-X and that should fix any rough edges.

I needed a gooseneck hitch to haul cattle to market in my new 26ft. stock trailer. I installed the Turnover Ball Gooseneck Hitch in my 2012 Silverado 2500HD in a little over 3hrs by myself laying flat on the ground. If I'd had a lift, it would have been much easier. That installation instructions were dead on! Great looking hitch and adds value to my truck.
Works great and pulls nice! I have had no issues with the hitch. The install was easy with basic mechanical skills and minor alterations to the vehicle.

Bought a second one for my newer truck.
Product is very well made and has a nice clean installed look. Only thing I did different from the directions was instead of cutting a notch in the bed to install the X-members, I unbolted one side of my bed and raised it up and blocked it up. Overall good product and straight forward to install. Excited to see how it holds up.
Nice kit easy to install
It’s a good unit. Had a bit of a time with the directions. Been nice to had a video of a duramax install. It could be all my problem finding what I needed and a bit difficult understanding the directions. I’m sure it takes most people less than the 12 hours to install.

I’ve had this hitch for about a year and use it daily around the farm from moving cattle to hauling hay to moving equipment around and just like the first day she works like a charm. Very good investment and still highly recommend for anyone looking for a good reliable hitch!
