With the B&W Turnoverball underbed gooseneck trailer hitch you get the best of both worlds. When you go to tow, the Turnoverball creates a sturdy, dependable connection with your gooseneck trailer. And when you're done towing, you can remove the ball to get full bed access and a clean appearance.

Easy-to-Remove Hitch Ball

The durable steel hitch ball included with the Turnoverball system secures in the hitch with a sturdy, 5/8" thick steel pin that is incorporated into the end of the operating handle. To lock the ball in place, drop it into the hitch hole in the bed of truck. Then rotate the handle in driver's-side wheel well counterclockwise until the latch engages. When the latch is engaged, the spring-loaded pin on the end of the handle will be inserted all the way through the base of the hitch ball, forming a strong, solid connection and ensuring absolute security when you're towing.

When you're done towing, remove the hitch ball by simply pulling the handle out as far as it will go and then rotating it clockwise until it unlatches. Remove the ball and store it until the next time you tow.

Unlike typical gooseneck balls - which have round bases - the Turnoverball hitch ball is designed with a square base. This makes latching the ball in the hitch easier because the base won't rotate inside of the hitch like a round base might, so lining the pin up is a snap.

Simple, Custom Installation

This hitch is custom designed for your vehicle. The included mounting brackets bolt to existing holes in your truck's frame. While some modification is required - you will need to cut a 4" diameter hole in your bed for the hitch ball and drill holes for the built-in safety chain loops - there is no need to weld onto or to drill into your frame.

Once you have the hitch brackets and body installed, set up the operating handle. This handle is designed to be accessed from the rear driver's-side wheel well. On the end of the handle is the heavy-duty steel pin that secures the hitch ball.

These are the best gooseneck hitches on the market as far as I am concerned. This is the third one I have owned, and I also have used them for nearly 20 years at work.

by:

excellent product. "Pretty" easy installation. Followed the video online and it went pretty well. I would certainly buy and install myself again. Great experience ordering and delivered in a timely manner.

by:

Great service fast delivery knowledgeable staff, get the right product every time.

by:

Installation was straightforward and the instructions/videos very helpful. We then used the hitch to tow a horse through Canada from Idaho to Alaska for a military move. worked like a charm. Still gets use weekly going to various events and have never had a single problem.

by:

Very well made! Excellent quality! I can't wait to install it. In the future, I will always look for B&W products for my trailer. Seriously.

Toyota Tundra

What a good buying experience on my B&W gooseneck hitch and towing accessories for my Toyota Tundra. First of all, the pricing was good on all my items. Second, free shipping. Third great customer service and recommendations during the purchase process and then followup at shipping.

Next day I realized that I had forgotten to get a suspension enhancement item I also wanted so called back. No problem, they would add it to my original shipment for just $x.xx extra.

All the items arrived very well packaged. Based on etrailer.com's great videos on 'how to install on YOUR particular vehicle' series, I was able to install all the components myself. I would not have attempted the hitch without that video so I saved a bunch there due to their video's. THANKS etrailer.com!!!

2007 Toyota Tundra DC 6.5' Bed

Follow
the instructions. I had the cross-members and cross-member braces turned the wrong way and thought I was in BIG trouble with the hole lining up with the center section. The kit is well put together and has EVERYTHING you need for the install -tools.

Make use of the "Overhead Lifting Device" mentioned in the very beginning. This makes it much easier to get bolts installed in the center section and cross-members. I just tied a rope to the latch pin in the ball socket and wrapped it around a truss in my garage. The heat shield removed in step 2 will not be re-used.

Have a small 1/2" drive drill on hand. My 4" hole-saw and 1/2" bits would not fit in a 3/8" drill chuck. I had to use a ginormous Makita hammer drill which made it more difficult particularly with the 1/2" holes for the safety chain u-bolts.

Would highly recommend this kit. Everything is well built, well documented, and complete.

by:

Works great. Installation was easy, had a trailer shop drill the hole (cheaper than purchasing the hole saw) and did the rest myself. I drive on muddy roads so I have to take a pressure washer to the pin mechanism every so often or it sticks.

by:
2013 Toyota Tundra

Easy to install. Could do without a lift but it was way easier with the truck in the air. The measurements are spot on for drilling the hole in the bed. I would say that’s the hardest part cutting a hole in the bed. I used a 2x4 and ratchet strap once the hole was cut. I attached it to the mount and held it in place from the top side. I then bolted the kit all together from the under side.

by:
2012 Toyota Tundra

Got the packages in a great amount of time. Got everything I needed to out my b&w hitch and brake controller in. The hitch went in flawless along with the controller. Would def recommend either one to anyone and recommend using this site to buy your trailer or truck needs!

2008 Toyota Tundra

This fit my 08 Tundra perfectly. Delivered on time with free shipping. The video was extremely helpful and I got it installed in no time. It isn't a fun process but saved a ton of money from paying a shop. Highly recommend etrailer & the BW gooseneck hitch.

by:
2012 Toyota Tundra

Great product, the fit was perfect of my 2012 tundra, installation was realativly easy with my sons help. I recommend watching etrailer video couple times that will give you a visual and help speed things up, and when your reading directions you will know exactly what they talking about. I pull a 25 and 5 gooseneck using it.

2010 Toyota Tundra

Awesome Product. Exceeded my expectations from the buying experience to the install which I completed myself with ease. The instructions are great, and etrailer.com was very helpful in choosing this product for my 2010 Toyota Tundra.

by:

All B&W products are rock solid and customer support is 1st rate.

by:

The product was great, the delivery was right on time as promised. Installation was a breeze great instructions.

by:

Hitch looks good no cracks, bent,or broken pieces, didn't get any instructions.

by:

The hitch fit perfectly with no problems

by:
2012 Toyota Tundra

Seems well built. For the Tundra it is a very tight fit and very frustrating to get the bolts tight in such a tight space but not sure anything better could be done given the truck.

  • How to Determine Where to Drill the 4 inch Hole to Install B&W Gooseneck Hitch # BWGNRK1257
To determine where to cut the 4 inch diameter hole to install the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch w/ Custom Installation Kit # BWGNRK1257 in your 2011 Toyota Tundra you will need to measure from the tail gate end of the truck bed floor by hooking a tape measure over the end of the truck box and mark the floor at 42 3/8”. Next, find the center point between the wheel wells, where these marks intersect with the first measurement will be the center point of your four inch...

  • Recommended Gooseneck Hitch and Towing Capacity for 2014 Toyota Tundra
I took a look at the online owner's manual for your 2014 Toyota Tundra and the towing capacity can vary quite a bit depending on your exact model. Because of this, I highly recommend checking your copy of the manual or visiting your local Toyota dealer with your VIN so they can provide you with the exact specifications of your truck. For example, the 1GR-FE engine, 2WD model will have a maximum trailer weight of 4,800 pounds but the 3UR-FE engine, 4WD can have up to a 10,200 pound towing...

The 4 inch hole that you'll need to drill in the bed of the 2013 Toyota Tundra will be centered from left to right and exactly 42-3/8 inches from the rear edge of the truck bed. This is the location for all bed lengths of your truck as well.

  • Picking Out Gooseneck Trailer to Tow with 2017 Toyota Tundra Short Bed
I wish we had that type of info we could give out. Best advice we can give would be to make sure you under the towing capacity of your truck with the weight of the trailer you plan to tow. Also since you have a short bed truck make sure the nose of the trailer is narrow otherwise you'll have turning clearance issues. When it's time to pick out a hitch for your 2017 Toyota Tundra the best option is the B and W Gooseneck part # BWGNRK1257 as it's the easiest to use, best made, and longest...

  • Suspension Enhancement for 2010 Toyota Tundra with Gooseneck Hitch Installed
As you suspected, any of the air bag suspension systems offered by Firestone or AirLift would interfere with the gooseneck hitch. Unfortunately, the two cannot be installed simultaneously. I would recommend the Timbren Aeon Springs, part # TTORTUN4. These springs would replace your factory bump stops, so they will not interfere with the gooseneck hitch mounting brackets. The springs become progressively stiffer as more weight is added, but will not come into play or affect the ride in...

  • Recommended Transmission Cooler For 2011 Toyota Tundra With 5.7 Liter Engine For Towing
It never hurts to add a transmission cooler to your vehicle when you are towing a trailer. The biggest concerns when adding a cooler is making sure you have adequate space and choosing the best location when installing a cooler so that you get the best performance. For a transmission cooler that offers the highest performance I recommend a cooler like the Derale Stacked-Plate Transmission Cooler Kit, part # D13402. This cooler measures 13 inches wide x 6-7/16 inches tall x 2 inches deep.

For your 2013 Toyota Tundra with a 5-1/2 foot bed the best option will be the B and W Gooseneck hitch part # BWGNRK1257 with the 4 inch extender part # BWGNXA4585. The extension won't help much, but if your trailer has a very narrow nose like a livestock trailer this would be best shot. If the trailer has living quarters and a wide nose you really won't have a way to do it.
