This ball is heavy duty and super easy to install. I store it mounted by two of the pins forward of the Fifthwheel. When I use the goose neck I just swap the ball and fifth wheels places.
Great product at a great price. Needed a gooseneck for occasional hauling but didn't want to lose my 5th wheel rails and this fit the bill. Had to loosen the bolts on one rail to get it to sit in place but was a 10 min fix. Had about 10k behind me so far through various terrains and it has done nothing other than what it is intended for. Can't say enough about customer service either, any question i had they had helpful advice and were nothing but nice. Would reccomend this product and ETrailer to anyone in need.

The free shipping was wonderful and it was delivered on the date promised. I was not familiar with the fifth wheel rails in the new truck I purchased and the website was very helpful in determining which product would work for my application. Received the Curt bent plate gooseneck hitch in less than a week and it fit right in the existing fifth wheel rails. Really like this hitch and with it I am going to be able to salvage a trailer that hasn't been on the road since 1994 that would have ended up as scrap metal otherwise! Works better than expected with a short bed truck, the gooseneck trailer I have is not adjustable and is mainly for flatbed use only but with this hitch and rail setup I’m not concerned about rubbing on the bed sides or tailgate, I also have more than enough clearance for tight Maneuvers.
Works as advertised. It was simple to put in the truck, on the rails and rattled very little for having so many connections. Good piece of gear if you need to pull a gooseneck and have rails in your truck.

I already had the Curt 5th wheel hitch and rails. I purchased the gooseneck receiver d/t most trailers having this type of hitch. It fit perfectly on the rails and I am very pleased with this purchase. I have purchased other things from etrailer in the past and always go back when I need something. The staff is very knowledgeable and always guide me in the right direction.

This goose neck plate adapter is well made and heavy duty. It is a great solution for those of us who have 5th wheel hitch rails in the beds of our trucks, yet need to haul goose neck trailers also.
Carl V - 06/18/2021This hitch installed easily and held up quite well over the last year. I am impressed with everything it has been through without any issues. I highly recommend this hitch if you need have the avail for both a 5th wheel and a gooseneck at different times.
Received my hitch in the mail on Tuesday, and had it installed in under 90 seconds into my existing rails. Great, solid and sturdy construction. Excellent finish. Will be used to haul 4 - 6 horse aluminum GN trailer.
Not only did etrailer have the best pricing but they shipped it quickly and packaging was impressive.
Haven't pulled a trailer yet but it dropped in my 5th wheel rails no problem.
I needed to move my large "Fifth Wheel" trailer, but my own truck was in the shop. A friend of mine had the truck but had a 5th Wheel connection, while I had a Gooseneck connection. I purchased the 5th Wheel to Gooseneck conversion unit and it worked perfectly. Strong and well made, it did the job, easily fitting onto the 5th Wheel base.
I'm glad to have the part for future uses. I'd highly recommend this part.
Bill A - 09/07/2020Good hitch, no complaints. Purchased this hitch because my truck already had the 5th wheel rails in place. Pull my BigTex tandem gooseneck regularly with it.
Good quick delivery and packaged well. Looks good and well made. Will not be used for 2 or 3 months so not much I can add about the performance.

Zach - 04/25/2022I shopped several sites for this hitch. Other brands were significantly lighter. I went with Curt the brand I know and Etrailer because they know what they are doing.
When I contacted them about the delivery Carol responded quickly. The hitch actually came early.
The hitch dropped in as if it had always been there. I like it that I can set it in even with my rear axle or forward if I like. The welds and finish are excellent.
We have bought RV furniture and trailer parts from Etrailer and they always are helpful and "on the ball".
Product was exactly as described and fitment was perfect. Shipping time was extremely fast. Very happy with product and customer service.
Perfect fit even with 5th wheel hitch i nstalled.
A cost effective product that is built just as well as the more expensive ones. Plan to use mainly to tow horse trailer. Appreciate the quick delivery.
