Designed specifically for your vehicle, this underbed gooseneck hitch provides superior towing capability along with a variety of unique features. When you go to tow, it provides a dependable connection with your gooseneck trailer. When you're done towing, remove the ball to get full bed access and a clean appearance.
This hitch has also been thoroughly tested to meet SAE J2638 standards. These criteria - set forth by the Society of Automotive Engineers - are specifically designed to ensure the highest level of performance for heavy-duty towing.
Pop-In Ball
The included pop-in ball uses an integrated, easy-to-access lever to activate the ball-bearing locking system, securing the ball in the hitch. Quickly remove the ball using the same lever and get absolute, uninhibited use of your truck bed. Because this hitch installs underneath your truck bed, all that you will be left with upon removal of the ball and safety chain loops is the ball hole.
Simple, Custom Installation
Installation of this hitch is a breeze. With fewer steps and fewer components than competing hitches, installation is simpler to understand and complete. The compact size of the parts makes them easy to lift and hold in place - no help needed.

Easy-to-install gooseneck hitch can be mounted by 1 person without an extra set of hands. Pop-in ball is easy to lock in place and remove for unobstructed access to truck bed.The kit worked well and I did the job without jacking up the truck after finding out I could not lift it on our hoist. Took me about 4 hours and difficult with out lifting the truck. On a hoist I can see this going much smoother. My truck is the 6.6 gas model and I could not find a way to get it in without dropping the exhaust. The video was very helpful. The centering jig worked well but not perfect (off about 1/16th). Overall I would definitely recommend this hitch. It is built like a tank!
I bought this Curt Gooseneck Hitch For my new 2020 Chevy HD Silverado Standard Bed Duramax. I did the install myself, in my garage and without the use of a lift. I spent about 8 hours to get it done. The parts are heavy, so take that into account if you’re wanting to do it yourself. Watching a Curt install video during the process was key to installing it successfully. Only thing I would suggest during the install, and for the driver’s side only, is to loosen the rearward gas tank strap, which allows a little more room for fishing the one inside frame retaining plate and bolt. Very happy with the quality of this hitch and of the price from etrailer.
Quality product that performs as expected. Installation went according to instructions. I was able to complete the installation without assistance. Quarterly hardware checks have revealed no fasteners to need re-tightening. The only issue has been, even with keeping the ball and coupler cleaned and lubricated, the chrome plating had started peeling from the top of the ball.
I would have no problem recommending this item to others.
The install was slightly more difficult on this curt hitch than the BW hitch, but this one was on sale at the time so I chose to give this one a try. Both styles give you a little workout but the hardware package is easier to work with on the BW hitch
E-Trailer did a great job getting this shipped out quickly and actually got it to us a day earlier than promised. Don't know about the product itself, as we haven't installed it yet.
It arrived as promised
Great website great service product delivered on time got it installed I'm ready to go
Good product terrible shipping
Nice product. Great price and easy to install
Easy install. Just what I needed to prep our truck for our fifth wheel. Installation videos are very helpful. Thanks etrailer!!
This is my second install of an aftermarket gooseneck hitch. The first was a B&W on a Chevy. That one went smoothly but felt a little cumbersome for having to cut a heat shield and remove the fender liner. I opted for the Curt in this case on a 2023 F250 on the basis that it was a "simple one man installation." The B&W had a clear, helpful video and was ultimately straightforward. This one I actually had help with from a friend who is a Ford tech and couldn't believe what a disaster it was. The fit and finish was poor, clearances were inadequate, instructions were totally lacking and overall it was a total mess to shoehorn this thing in. I think there is no video provided for the specific application because it would be almost impossible to film one going in cleanly. I will never buy another Curt product. If you're considering this do yourself a favor and don't walk, RUN to buy the B&W.
From experience, I can say the Curt hitch is better than the Draw-tite, because the draw-tite did not fit my 2023 F350, the paint is better on the Curt and it comes with the ball. I reduced the rating one star because I had to ream four holes that were about 20% off. Otherwise the installation went smoothly
Loved how eazy product installed instructions on hitch was great. Found on etrailer.com a video of how to install hitch. U will have to remove heat shild and exuast pipe to make much easier to in stall. The trailer ball is sweet u just flip up latch and turn then it's free to remove. Ordered hitch on Saturday free shipping and they called me to make sure it was shipping to right location. Then they emailed me when it shiped. It arrived on Tuesday on the same week. The price was great to. Will use hitch to pull 25 ft hay trailer and 24 foot stock trailer.
Very nice hitch, took me about 3 hrs to install on a 2014 RAM 2500 6.5 bed with help from the wife. The hitch is very thick steel, probably close to 1/2". The ball works great, very easy to secure and remove. Very happy with the hitch and glad I chose it over the turnover ball which seems to be slightly harder to install.
Some tips... remove spare tire, remove heat shield, drill the 3 1/4" hole, make sure to use a good hole saw made for metal, positition the nuts using the brackets, have someone get the bolts started while you hold the hitch. Tighten the bolts, you will probably have to remove the exhaust hangers to move the exhaust enough to tighten the passenger side bolts, torque to spec, drill the safety hook holes, install safety hooks and put everything back together...thats pretty much it.
I took my truck and had the bed Linex'd after I installed the hitch. They touched up around the holes. Looks awesome!
WORKS GOOD BUT THE SAFETY CHAIN UBOLT ON RIGHT SIDE HITS EXHAUST PIPE AND RATTLES
