Get a little extra security when you are towing with Curt's double-lock, gooseneck hitch. Chrome-plated ball locks in place with two pins while towing and flips over for storage inside the hitch when its job is done. Installation kit included.

Curt Double Lock Gooseneck Hitch Operation
The Curt Double Lock underbed gooseneck trailer hitch provides a sturdy, secure connection for towing your gooseneck trailer and also allows for a clean, unobtrusive look for your truck bed when you aren't towing. To tow, simply pull the included handle out to unlock the hitch. Then insert the chrome-plated hitch ball into the ball hole. You may need to rotate the ball to line it up with the dual locking pins. When the ball drops into place, rotate the handle counterclockwise until the locking pins snap into position. Because there are 2 locking pins instead of 1, you get extra security for your towing setup.
Get full bed access when you're not towing. Just remove the ball, flip it upside down, drop it back into the ball hole of the hitch, and use the handle to lock the ball in place. A rubber cover is included with the Double Lock. When the ball is stowed upside down in the hitch, place this cover over the ball hole to keep out dirt and grime and create a clean look for your vehicle.

Easy installation. We had 3 guys and were done in 20 minutes less than instructions said. Works fine as frog's hair! When measuring the hole in the bed remember to measure from the front of the bed and rear! Then look underneath for the bed crossmember.

this installed correctly on my 2005 dodge ram 2500 diesel per instructions for installation with air bags. I have hauled a 42 foot 3 axle car trailer for over 6,000 miles with no issues. This was a great purchase. Thank you

The hitch installed well. But problems arose. The screws for the top chrome trim ring started to shear off from use. Soon, I realized the ball had a lot of movement in it. After contacting Curt and doing a few measurements and sending them a video. I realized they wanted me to give up on getting a replacement hitch. So, the next step was to purchase a B&W Hitch. A hitch that I have used in all my previous trucks. I have never had a problem with the B&W. The Curt hitch with less than a 100K has more play in the ball then my other trucks with over 500K miles. Curt does not back up their products.

2006 Dodge Ram Pickup
The hitch works fine and I like it. 2 stars because the kit came with 2 driver's side frame brackets. etrailer and Curt could not figure out how to send me the part they shorted me on and I had to purchase another mount kit for one bracket. I would not recommend this product for that reason. I basically had to buy it twice.

I have used this gooseneck hitch numerous times since purchasing it. It does require some tedious measurements to install it correctly. If you are doing this yourself, i would say you habe at least 3 hours of work ahead of you. With a helper it took me around 4 moving slowly and dekiberately. The ball is excellent, and the locking mechanism is as well. I also purchased the 5th wheel rail plate adapter. The combination has been hard to beat for the cost. Overall i would recommend this product. It is very well built and seems to hold up well with hard use.

The products from etrailer.com have been just what I needed. The site does a great job of describing exactly what I needed for my truck and the products are of super high quality. One interesting note however was the instructions that came with the installation kit said a pro could install the hitch in 45 minutes. I would like to see that! We had no issues and I had reviewed 4 videos prior and downloaded a PDF instruction sheet prior to starting and we spent 5 hours putting this hitch and installation kit in. It was a fun project with my son helping, and we ran into no issues that slowed us down, but you've gotta ignore the time estimate on the installation documentation. It's a beautiful thing all things considered.

Curt and Pollak make a great product and etrailer is a great site, I come here for all my towing needs now! My only issue is that the instructions for the gooseneck hitch were kind of vague. I got it on in about 3 1/2 hours taking my time and making sure it was right. Other than that I would purchase a Curt and Pollak product again!

2006 Dodge Ram Pickup
Install on my 2006 2500 Dodge Ram Big Horn, easy enough considering no lift. Works good, only problem is that when you turn the ball over for storeage, bottoms out on the axle. Other than not being able to store the ball as advertised, good buy for the money.

2006 Dodge Ram Pickup
I placed the order for this on a Sunday evening knowing it wouldn’t be processed till Monday. It said it would be delivered on Thursday and it was. The I received was completely destroyed with all the parts laying on one end of the box and all the supposed packaging torn up and the parts bag ripped open. After getting everything out of the box, I laid out the parts to see what was missing. There were 13 different pieces missing so was unable to put this in and I needed it to pull a trailer that weekend. I immediately called to let them know how the package arrived and that I was missing parts. After giving them the list, I said I would need them overnighted because I needed to use it this weekend. I was told that since it was free shipping that it was impossible to do and the would ship it out sometime next week and maybe get it by Thursday. This was the first time I ordered from this company and it will certainly be my last.

works great, have a B&W in my other truck, went with the Curt for this one. The Curt unit seems as well built and as well designed as the B&W, with heavier retainer pin. Glad i tried the Curt option.
