After it has been secured, this Blaylock EZ Lock ensures that the inner tube can't be removed from the outer tube of your adjustable gooseneck coupler. Simply position the lock around the set bolt, insert the 3/4" diameter steel pin through the bracket and under the bolt, and secure the pin in place with a padlock (sold separately).
An additional coupler lock (BLTL-50-40D or BLTL-55-40D - sold separately) is available to prevent unauthorized access to the coupler latch.

Speaker 1: Today we're going to take a look at the Blalock Aluminum Easy Lock Set Screw Lock for the gooseneck couplers. Now this coupler lock will help prevent theft of your gooseneck trailer that has an adjustable coupler. It's designed to slide over the set screw. Does include this aluminum bracket. The steel pin with the washer and then the large steel washer. Now this heavy duty bracket will secure around the coupler set screw, prevents removal of the inner tube from the outer tube on your coupler.
The steel pin right here is what will slide through the bracket and under the screw and then you put a padlock through that hole right there on the pin and that'll secure the pin in place.Now the padlock is sold separately. We do sell that on our website and it's listed on this product page as a related product. Now this is made of an aircraft grade lightweight aluminum construction. It's very strong, resists wear and corrosion. Part is made in the U.S.A.
Again, the application is for set screws on most adjustable gooseneck couplers.Few dimensions on this. Overall height of it, it's going to be right at three and one-eighth inches tall. Total width is about two and three-quarter inches wide. Total depth on it is right about two and three-eighths inches deep. The diameter on the steel pin is three-quarters of an inch and total weight of this when it's all put together is about one pound.Basically, what you would do is go ahead and start your pin through there.
Put your washer right on there. Then what you'll do is this large steel washer, this will install onto the set screw of your gooseneck coupler. What you'll do is remove the set screw, put the washer on there, tighten and put the set screw back in, tighten it down, and it'll hold this washer on the set screw. Then what you'll do is, there's these .. You can see these slots right in here, this will slide down right over the washer, on the set screw, and hold it into place like that, and then you'll put your padlock right here through the hole in that pin and that'll hold it right into place so it keeps anybody from removing that set screw and removing your inner tube from your outer tube.That should do it for the review on the Blalock Aluminum Easylock Set Screw Lock for the gooseneck coupler..

Padlock sold separately.I had to cut my bolt down on my trailer to get it to fit, but it wasn't to much trouble.
Secures the coupler on our horse trailer nicely.

Scott A - 02/04/2015Just as advertised, fits perfectly and should keep the honest honest and at least slow down the crooked. The video installation on the website is very helpful and for what it is worth, I didn't need the included spacer. Have it on a livestock trailer and gooseneck trailer.
This set screw lock is a cost effective measure for trailer theft protection when used in combination with a coupler lock. Most crimes are crimes of opportunity so in removing ease of theft you greatly reduce the risk of loss.
