by:

it was nice product to buy put it was to small had to return it and i order a bigger one thanks etrailer

by:

You guys are great! Very simple ordering process and great shipping options. The only place I could find one that could be shipped in less than 5 days. Thank YOU!

by:

bolted up good and is heavy duty, thanks, I put this on my semi tractor to pull a smaller trailer.

by:

Very prompt delivery and knowledgeable about their products

It’s beefy and solid. The mounting bracket square holes had to be cut in a smidge and he added two more support bars.. but all in all. My welder said it would tow 11-12 k. Not the 16k I was told. But hey. I’m okay with that. There was a shipping issue which forced me to reschedule a few things, that is the only reason I gave 4 stars. Otherwise I am supper happy with how it turned out.

by:

It is very well built and the powder coating is very tough, took a good grinding to get it off for the welds. Good price as well. I used it for my 2006 Bounder 35E, not because it was a high rate hitch, as I did not need one, but this was the only one that would lower the hitch to a more normal height from the ground. The old hitch was so high a 10" deep was not enough to use a trailer parallel to the ground. Now I can hook up a lot easier and not worry about scraping. Looks good too.

by:

Great quality product from Curt . Can be easy installation depending on the application.. mine more difficult because of aluminum alloy frame, so will have to do some reinforcing.

by:

I put this on my 03 Freightliner Columbia. It does everything I want it to. It is bolted and welded.
I like it so much that a bought another one and put it on my old school bus. That one is just bolted on.

by:

attached this hitch to my 1984 American General 5 ton military truck. Had to do some modification to air lines and drill a few holes but it is perfect for pulling civilian trailers with the M 813.

by:

Added (welded) to our diesel pusher Motorhome and have no issues and really no worries while towing whatever we feel we need while camping.

by:

Perfect fit on my 2009 blue bird

by:

Well, I really respect the fact that they waited for one year before asking for a review, they offer a 2 inch and a 2 1/2 inch receiver the 2 1/2 inch receiver would obviously be a larger rectangle to accommodate a half an inch, the vertical uprights I received had holes pre-cut to accommodate a 2 1/2 inch receiver I ordered a 2 inch receiver, needless to say, there was an abundance of slop, half inch gaps, requiring a lot of fabrication on either side of the vertical uprights, knowing this now, going with the 2 1/2 receiver should have saved a ton of unnecessary fabrication time.

by:

I think you guys should send me some ap parel!

by:

Exactly what we wanted. Worked perfect on our recent, extended trip to Alaska and back.

by:

Very happy with this hitch. The size of the end plates matched the frame on our old truck and with the class V weight rating, our old truck can do a few other things around the farm now. Thank you.

by:

I welded this up on my 2004 GMC converted school bus, it worked great with minimal bumper notching

by:

Great product. Fast delivery

by:

Was able to position the hitch where I wanted on a chassis cab and it works great.

by:

Great product. Super faster shipping. Excellent customer service

by:

Works great!

by:

This hitch was exactly what was needed for my landscaping customer's small dump body truck. It replaced the original custom hitch with only minor modifications to accommodate the cargo body. I have done considerable work for this customer over many years. No issues reported with this job. All good!! Thanks to Curt and etrailer for great products and stellar service. —

  • Recommended Trailer Hitch For A 2000 MCI 40 Foot Intercity Bus
When it comes to installing a trailer hitch on your 2000 MCI 40 foot Intercity Bus we do not have a custom hitch that would fit but you can weld on The Curt Class 5 Universal Weld-on Hitch w/ Brackets - 2-1/2 inch Receiver - 44 inch Wide # C37CR. The trailer hitch has a maximum gross trailer weight up to 20,000 pounds and has a maximum tongue weight up to 2,000 pounds. I would recommend checking the vehicle's manual to see the proper towing capacity for your bus. The hitch as a black...

  • Trailer Hitch Recommendation for 2015 Tiffin Allegro Bus Motorhome
We don't offer a custom hitch for your Allegro bus motorhome, so you'd need to use a weld-on universal hitch. I'd recommend the Curt # C37CR if the frame members are between 18 and 44 inches apart. If the frame spread is larger, use # C97CR which fits frame spreads up to 62 inches. Both hitches have a 2-1/2 inch receiver.

  • How To Add Class V Trailer Hitch Receiver To 1993 Dodge Ramcharger
I may have another option for you, but there is not a Class IV or V trailer hitch receiver confirmed to fit your 1993 Dodge Ramcharger. The only option to add one would be using a universal fit hitch like Curt Class 5 Universal Weld-on Hitch w/ Brackets - 2-1/2" Receiver - 44" Wide # C37CR and having it welded to the frame of your vehicle. The # C37CR fits frames that are 18" - 44" wide so you will need to make sure your frame falls within this range before ordering. While this Class V...

  • Recommended Trailer Hitch For 2015 Jayco Greyhawk 31DS That Has Capacity Over 5,000lbs
There are trailer hitches rated above 5,000lbs that you can have installed on your 2015 Jayco Greyhawk 31DS, but they all are going to require welding to get that additional capacity. While I know you were hoping for a bolt on receiver, you'll need to go with one such as the Buyers Products # 3371801050 and have a certified welder weld it on for you. Keep in mind that even though this hitch has a 16,000lb trailer weight rating that doesn't mean your motorhome does. You'll need to reach...

  • Hitch For C5500 GMC Truck
For a commercial vehicle such as the GMC C5500 you will need an universal hitch such as the Curt # C97CR Class-5, with 2-1/2” receiver, and fitting frame beams 18” to 62” in width with a 20,000 pound tow capacity. If you do not need one as wide you could select the 44” wide Curt # C37CR, or the 44” wide Curt # C99CR hitch with an 18” drop and 16,000 pound tow rating. I have included links to each of these items.

  • Recommended Universal Hitch for a 2021 Tiffin Allegro Red 340 38LL
Yes, you are correct. You will want to go by the capacity of the lowest rated component to determine what your Tiffin Allegro Red has the ability to tow. We don't offer a custom hitch for your 2021 Tiffin Allegro Red 340 38LL, so you will need to use a weld-on universal hitch. I recommend the Curt Class 5 Universal Weld-on Hitch item # C37CR if the frame members are between 18" and 44" wide. If your frame is spaced wider, then you will want to use the Curt # C97CR which fits frame spreads...

  • How to Get 2-1/2" Trailer Hitch Receiver for a 2001 Dodge Ram 2500
The only way to install a trailer hitch with a 2-1/2" receiver on your 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 is to go with a universal-type hitch like this one from Curt: - Curt Class 5 Universal Weld-on Hitch w/ Brackets # C37CR All of the custom fit options for your vehicle only come with a 2" receiver so you'll need to have something universal like what I mentioned above welded to your vehicle frame in order to get the larger receiver size.

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C15845 is a custom fit application for a 2008 Ford F-350 Cab and Chassis like what you have. The hitch you mentioned is for pickups and not a utility bed, so the best option that may work is a universal weld-on hitch. It simply depends on the width of your frame; for example, if your frame is up to 44" wide you can use the Curt Class 5 Universal Weld-on Hitch w/ Brackets - 2-1/2" Receiver - 44" Wide # C37CR. I do have some weld-on options for you as I unfortunately do not have any custom fit bolt on options and I cannot look at the detailed specs for your 2022 Tiffin Allegro Bus 45 OPP Motorhome. We have 2 sets of the Curt Class 5 receivers with either a 44" or 62" wide receiver tube which are all rated for up to 20,000lbs trailer weight and 2,000lbs tongue weight. Though we do not have a custom fit option for your two Freightliner trucks, I may still have something that will work. The more heavy duty option will be the Draw-Tite Super Titan 4000 Weld-On Trailer Hitch with 3" Receiver Opening # 38124. Your 2005 Chevy Express 3500 left the factory across the street from our facility as a Van cutaway chassis and was delivered to an upfitter that installed the bus body onto it and joined it with the cab portion of the van. Because there are many different upfitters, we have no way of knowing how the rear bumper is situated in regard to the frame, so it's very likely that the hitch that fits the passenger or cargo van models wouldn't be a fit, as their bumpers don't hang as low.
