Powder coated steel resists rust.This was exactly what I needed to make my hitch work on a Grand Caravan. The adjustable hitch was too close to the bumper after installing the Curt receiver hitch.
This thing is an absolute beast! well made and solid, with an exceptional finish. Worked as advertised and cleared the spare tire on my Wrangler such that our bike rack could be installed correctly. An exceptional product!
Heavy metal, fit current hitch well. Good extention for Thule bike rack.
The shaft length of a standard insert for a receiver hitch was too short to allow towing a 96 gallon trash can because the trash can lid was wedged against the tailgate of the ATV. The hitch extender has added sufficient length that the lid hinge can be dropped onto the trailer ball without being wedged against the tailgate.

Still working as intended with no downtime or difficulties.. also useful as an easy tiedown point when transporting the atv on a flatbed trailer.
The hitch extension is heavy duty and I’m extremely happy with the quality. Service was superb and received the product in 2 days. Happy, happy, happy. Before and after photos are included.

I just wanted to provide you with a heads-up that using an extender like the # C45791 will reduce the capacity of your receiver hitch by 50 percent, as mentioned on the product page.
Great. Extended my hitch just enough to keep my truck bumper from hitting my v-nose trailer. It greatly reduces the weight ratio, but length works out great.

Actually I bought a superduty and took extender out. Went with new B&W hitch on new truck. But the extender worked great on the f150
I purchased this extension to use with my front end Curt Class 3 receiver hitch. This setup was installed for use of my Warn Wench that is installed in a portable receiver cradle that I use on either the front or rear of my truck. I chose this extension because of the solid shank that made it stronger than most other I shopped. As all extensions reduce the hitch weight rating, this one provided the least amount of reduction. I am very happy with my purchase and it works as advertised.
top quality, does rattle if no clamp installed which I got here also. I needed this as our bike would hit the back of the RV with out it.

super fast shipping and worked perfect as described this was for my personal lowered c-10 1970 step side I wanted my hitch hidden behind the lic plate and was having some clearance issues with the plate as it had to flip up not down to clear my hitch We use the m a,lot at work for hitches trailer parts ect with supply chain issues they take the time to call you and offer other solutions if not in stock for your on online orders excellent customer service
Received the 8” extension and it does exactly what I needed it to do. Matches up nicely with the Curt hitch on my SUV. Now I need not worry about how closely my trailers come to the rear end. Fast delivery and great support.
I got this for my side by side as the receiver was mounted too far underneath the unit to be practical. This adapter moved it out to just the right spot. I use my SxS to move my trailers around my property mostly, & it works great.
Put a receiver underneath my travel trailer and I needed to Ring the receiver out 8 inches from underneath the trailer and it fit perfect and it’s heavy duty And with the anti-rattle device I got from etrailer it works perfect.
Both products excellent.
Didn't work for my jeep because of the 35 inch tire attached to the tailgate.

This extender worked perfectly. It is the perfect length to clear the spare tire on my Jeep. I haven’t noticed any problems with the additional tongue weight that this supposedly adds. It’s a better solution than removing my spare tire. I’m pulling a 17.5 foot bass boat.
Works well, allows for oversized spare tire on the back of the Jeep to clear the teardrop trailer tongue jack.
*** Packaging was horrible. Placed in a cardboard box w/ no packing material, box was destroyed on arrival, and damaged / chipped paint. If you are going to charge us for shipping at least package the product so it will not be destroyed in normal shipping ***

Need it to extend a bicycle rack out from the rear of our camper van so the handle bars don't bump the rear of the van. Fit up very nicely!!
I'm sure the product was good as etrailer is always excellent. But when we got back two of the pieces were in the box but the curt hitch extender was not. The box had a hole in it and was tapped over. Who knows what happened.
