Those of us needing an extension to get past our spare tire shouldn’t have to sacrifice towing capability. We pull bigger boats and trailers, not smaller.
Sierra K - 08/03/2021The extension seem very sturdy and should function fine. However, it will not fit into my hitch adapter without grinding the corners of the solid bar. The corners are too square and need to be rounded off a bit. That's way only 4 stars. Haven't got to use it yet. Got it for towing my Samurai behind my truck camper.
This hitch extender is exactly what we needed to accommodate our new bike rack and still be able to tow our boat. Great match up for our specific needs.
