Larry - 06/22/2020The item does not fit the hitch on my Suburban nor the hitch on my Reflection RV. I need this to stabilize the cargo carrier. The hitch has a lip & this style of bracket does not fit over the lip. I have to return this item.

Works great. Bought it for my golf cart hitch. It keeps the hitch from making a lot of noise driving around. Wife loves it. She doesn’t have to listen to it any more.
The etrailer rattle clamp for my 2" trailer hitch is perfect. It fits my hitch receiver (its upset on the end) and is tight-tight after tightening the 4 bolts. Before my trailer banged around but not now. I plan to buy another for my other truck. Went on in about 10 minutes....just need an open end or boxed end wrench. This is made well and is not stitch welded like some that Ive seen. I think the stitch welded ones will fail sooner or later.
The casting flexes when under pressure. The bolts come loose almost immediately. Maybe lock tight would help but I doubt it just too much flex. Maybe jam nuts? Again just too much flex. Torquing the bolts gives you the feeling you are going to snap the iron. It’s just not up to the task.
was not big enough to fit the reciever like the video showed. reversed it, and it is holding tight. i am pleased with the device.

Product was made very good for what it was. But it didn't work WTH my Receiver. So I ordered another one that would work. Thank you etrailer for many options. Will buy form again when I need something. Thanks again.
The item is well built and is as discribed. Good product, Is used on a hitch cargo carrier to stabilize it it the receiver.
The Product was of High Quality and Will Do The Job I Needed. However The Clamps did Not Fit Over The Stress Rings on Either The Regular Hitch Or The Extension Hitch For My Accessory Carrier....Was Not Happy About That. I Had to Turn Them Both Around and Bolt Them On. It Worked But I Feel I Lost a Lot of Strength By Doing This But Had No Choise.
bought two, one for truck and one for motorhome. had to reverse unit to fit snug against reciever. worked great. sense installing units, had to replace lost adjustment bolts with new ones with locking nuts. idea works, just needs minor engineering ajustments.
I added this to a Yakima bike rack to stabilize it. Works great
The item I received is similar to the one advertised which is made of two parts that are welded together. The item I received is a one piece cast steel which makes it a much stronger part.
Seems sturdy enough. Bolts stay tight. No rattles. Meant for hitch racks & such, not for towing, but . . . .
The 4-bolt anti rattle clamp really quiets the noisy hitch problem which is worse when the trailer is unloaded. I highly recommend it for anyone who has this problem.
Awesome addition to my hitch system
This product is exactly what I need for my dual hitch on my motor home. The service from etrailer was excellent. This fit my 2001 Silverado with a factory hitch very well, It doesn't fit my 2014 GMC Sierra without some minor modifications, also go replace the bolts with grade 8 bolts right off the bat. when the two outside bolts bend, its hell to get them out again.
The part I ordered for my hitch performed every bit as expected and I've had no problems. A great buy and well worth the cost.
