This Anti Rattle Hitch Stabilizer was easy to Install and solved the ball mount rattle noise problem I was experiencing . The design made more sense than other products available to correct ball mount rattle noise .

- e99007
by:

Easy to install and definitely stopped the extender and bike rack from moving. Because the built-in receiver on my Jeep JKs Smittybilt bumper has limited space, I had to install the stabilizer upside down and not per the instructions. However, it worked and stopped the sway.

- e99007
by:

We pull a trailer with our SUV. It’s pretty noisy with the hitch rattling around in the receiver. This quietened the noise substantially! Great product and well worth the money.

- e99007
by:

Solidly built. Easy install. Stabilizes the carrier on the back of my Travel Trailer. I like that it can be installed without removing the carrier from the receiver.

I originally purchased the MaxTow Rattle Clamp #MT70283. The clamp worked ok but it was hard to put on and eventually broke. I replaced it with etrailer Anti-Rattle Stabilizer #e99007 pictured above. This works excellent and is very easy to install. Just make sure that the U-Bolt is tight against the receiver top and bottom. I haul my 250 lb snowblower about 25 miles to camp and this rattle stabilizer works great. I would highly recommend this item

- e99007
by:

It works great, no more rattling when pulling the trailer

- e99007
by:

Using a trailer hitch extender drawbar for a bike rack and the typical pinned joints cause a whip action when hitting bumps. This clamped worked very well to take the slop out of the pinned joint at the receiver. Easy to install.

- e99007
by:

Here's a picture of the hitch and anti rattle both work great

- e99007

Work just as etrailer says it would hitch is nice and tight. Shipping was fast and it was well packed. So I recommend it.

- e99007

The folks at etrailer are fantastic! USPS lost my order for 25 days. etrailer replaced the order and sent it UPS. I got it 3 days later. 2 days after I received my replacement order, USPS came through, finally. Thank you etrailer, I will continue being a customer!

Both Items I ordered were shipped quickly and was just what I was looking for, getting me ready for a cross country trip. The anti rattle hitch stabilizer made the rear cargo tray more quiet, and decreased excess movement.

- e99007
by:

This product works very while. I would recommend this product.

- e99007
by:

Does a good job of tightening up the shank connection to the receiver. Eliminated most wobble with cargo carrier.

- e99007
by:

I took a peek but had to give to wife to package for Christmas. Look like I will use on hitches on jeep and Silverado truck.

- e99007
by:

Worked perfectly with the hitch mounted cargo carrier. This is needed for the receivers with the “bump” at the hitch. Would be so much better with some type of wing bolts so I don’t have to hunt for the included wrench (or any wrench for removal/installation).

- e99007
by:

Helps stop the hitch rattle noise.

- e99007

Fits perfect and locks it down tight!

- e99007
by:

product is well made and works.my problem is i drive a hyundai suv . my hitch is inverted to push the ball up therefor i could not put washers on . but it works and thats the most important thing . good product for the money.

- e99007
by:

This stabilizer removed all up and down movement, but still allows a very slight side to side movement, reduced rattling noise 95%, so I'm happy with it.

- e99007
by:

It came well packaged. I checked with a local trailer service for installation. They quoted $275 with a two week wait. I honestly installed it myself in 30 minutes without getting my hands dirty.

- e99007

The 43605 kit is just what I needed for my 2008 Nissan Xterra X, base model w/o tow package. It was an easy installation and it works like it should, happy camper!

It looks like this will do the job. Etrailer was extremely deficient on the supply timing for this part. 2 months from order to delivery. I tried to cancel the order, but that part of the transaction did not register with them. The payment part went flawlessly for etrailer...

Been a frequent shopper/ customer of etrailer for a while. Nothing but great things to say. They have great prices, products and service. I recently needed something to fix my rattling receiver hitch and of course they had exactly what I needed. It works great and not loose anymore. Thanks etrailer team, you will see me again!

  • Recommended Anti-Rattle Device for Towing Camper
There are several anti-rattle devices that would be good to use when towing. The construction of your ball mount will determine the best choice for your application. Solid shank ball mounts require an anti rattle that mounts to the outside, where hollow shanks give the option for a different mounting style. The Etrailer Anti-Rattle Hitch Stabilizer for 2" Hitches # e99007 you mentioned can be used in a variety of ways including bike racks, cargo carriers, tow bars and any other hitch...

The etrailer Anti-Rattle Hitch Stabilizer for 2" Hitches - Vinyl Coated Steel # e99007 is compatible with your 2 inch ball mount. The U-bolt is 4-1/4 inches tall overall and 2 inches wide on the inside. This should allow for snugging your ball mount into your receiver depending on the reducers used. • Reasons Why You Want An Anti-Rattle Hitch Stabilizer # e99007
An anti-rattle hitch stabilizer does reduce the noise you hear significantly, but it also helps out your equipment. Less rattling around in the hitch is going to help keep the finish on your hitch and accessories in tact, so your stuff will stay looking new longer. If you're using it with a bike rack, the bikes will also take less of a beating. The anti-rattle stabilizer will need to be removed whenever you remove whatever hitch mounted accessory you have, but could stay on the hitch if...
