Specs:
The Sport Rider SE2 platform-style hitch bike rack makes it simple to carry 2 fat bikes on the rear of your vehicle. This versatile rack is easy to use, and it features locking frame hooks and wheel hoops specifically designed for fat tire bikes, so you can quickly load and unload your bikes. An anti-rattle system tightens the rack's shank to your hitch receiver to prevent it from rattling around inside the tube.
Locking, Ratcheting Hooks
The Sport Rider SE2 uses locking frame hooks to secure your bikes. The ratcheting, cushioned hooks easily adjust along the vertical mast and lock securely in place. The release buttons allow each hook to slide up the ratcheting arm for bike removal. The hooks function independently, which means you can position them to carry bikes of different heights.
Adjustable Wheel Holders
The wheel hoops are wider than standard cradles and will hold tires up to 5" wide. These hoops accommodate bicycles with wheelbases up to 60" by sliding along the horizontal arms. They are secured in place with easy-to-use hand knobs, and the Velcro-like hook-and-loop straps fasten the wheels to the hoops.
The rack also comes with 2 sets of standard-size cradles, giving you the option of carrying 2 fat bikes, 2 standard bikes, or 1 of each.
Folding, Tilting Design
The rack tilts, with or without bikes loaded, for easy access to your vehicle's rear cargo area. Simply remove the pivot pin, pull the bottom quick-release spring pin, and lower the rack.
The rack also folds up against the back of your vehicle when it's not in use. To raise the rack, just pull the upper quick-release spring pin and lift.
Tool-Free Installation with Anti-Rattle System
The rack installs in your hitch without the need for tools. Simply slide the shank into your receiver until the welded stop plate contacts the hitch. The stop plate saves you from getting on your hands and knees to align the pin holes while inserting the hitch pin. Once the pin is in place, attach the lock pod. Lastly, use the integrated anti-wobble handle on the front of the shank to tighten the rack inside your hitch receiver and prevent it from rattling.
Complete Security for Bikes and Rack
The Sport Rider comes with locks for both the rack and your bikes to deter theft. The lock cores in the frame hooks hold the bike down on the rack and prevent them from moving. Also, the lock pod attaches to the hitch pin to secure the rack to your vehicle. These locks are conveniently keyed alike. For extra protection, the 8' long security cable wraps through the bike frames, connects to the hitch pin, and is secured to the pin by the hitch lock.
Add-On Adapters
The Sport Rider SE2 is expandable and adaptable. If you want to carry 4 bikes, a two-bike add-on accessory (sold separately) is available.
If you want to carry both 2 bikes and extra gear, an add-on cargo basket (sold separately) is available.
If you want to use the rack to transport a kid's bike with 16" or 18" wheels, wheel hoop adapters (sold separately) are available.
If you want to transport 1 recumbent delta trike or 1 recumbent tadpole-style trike with the Sport Rider SE2, you can use the HRTRK-ADP adapter (sold separately). Or if you want to transport 1 standard bike and either 1 recumbent delta trike, 1 recumbent tadpole-style trike, or 1 adult trike, then you can use the HRTRK-ADP-2 adapter (sold separately).

This hitch bike rack makes it easy to take 2 fat tire bikes to the trail. Ratcheting hooks hold bikes securely by the frame and lock to deter theft. Wheel hoops adjust for different wheelbases. Anti-rattle system reduces wobble and sway.My Hollywood ebike carrier arrived the day before yesterday and since it was too hot for me to be outside yesterday, I decided to try to tackle the thing all by myself.  Just for reference sake, I am 57 years old, 5' 2", 115 lbs and have had multiple sclerosis since I was 14 years old.  I used to be one strong little girl, but not so much anymore. We purchased an Radwagon for me to get more exercise safely and then hubby got a Radrover.
But transporting them wasn't going to be easy. I assembled this on the trailer hitch because I knew it would be too heavy for me to handle assembled. I not only got it assembled, I loaded our bikes!  It took about all I have, so this will not be a common occurrence for me, but I CAN do it!
The bike rack is perfect for our need and etrailer was great getting us the bike rack in a timely manner. They recieved our order from there suppliers and shipped it to us the same day. Ups delivered our order 2 days later. I couldn't ask for better service. Great!!!
Great Product, Heavy Duty, easy installation!
I added brackets to the ends to allow for Break and Running lights, as the bikes will be covered, blocking the Vehicle. Uncovered Bikes work well with out additional lights.
After looking at many bike carriers & getting totally confused I.called Adam at e trailers he was very helpful & fixed me up with the exact carrier for my tow behind trailer this bike rack is very well built & will carry my wife's & my e bikes with no problems or worries going down the road if I was to change anything the Velcro straps that go around the tires & wheels need to be about 3 or 4 inches longer not a big deal but would make this rack a 6 star rack instead of a 5 star if ever confused about which one to purchase with so many on the market call Adam before you buy
Great rack, it included both regular and fat tire holders which is nice. Shipped fast and they have the best price around.
The few times I have used this bike rack it did fine. My only complaint is that you can't engage the top arms tight to the bike and have to use some kind of fastener to keep them from rattling back and forth.
Took about an hour to put it together, I'm impressed with this rack, it came with a set of 3" and 5" wheel racks which will work for my fat tire bike. and my wife's Mtn bike. well made.

We just completed an 8K mile RV trip with the Hollywood rack mounted on our rear hitch. We have 2 Lectric e-bikes, we purchased this rack because it was rated for the combined weight of our bikes. The rack performed perfectly! We were able to easily load and unload the bikes and the rack held up very well. While the photo doesn't highlight the rack, it does show the use of my etrailer adapter to support the Hollywood rack and our tow vehicle. The rack is nicely out of the way of the tow vehicle and has plenty of clearance from the airflow at the back of the RV.

Very solid construction.
I have 2 heavy electric bikes and it seems to work fine. Not many racks are rated as high for weight.

The Hollywood Sports Ride SE Bike Rack was easy to assemble. Although it was heavier than I excepted. But I then realized that it was going to support 130 pounds of e-bikes. My wife assists me in installing the bike rack on the car as it is easier for two people. I also installed the Small wheel hoop adapters, which raises the rear wheel and protects the derailers. After my first trip with the e-bikes, I am very pleased with the ease of getting the bikes on and off of the bike rack. I would definitely this rack again.

THIS RACK SAVED OUR e-BIKES FROM GETTING STOLEN!
The would-be thieves cut the cable that I used to secure the bikes together but they couldn't release the locking hooks on the bike rack to be able to remove the bikes. The straps holding the wheels to the brackets were cut, but they really aren't necessary for holding the bikes on the rack anyway.
This rack is so simple to use and has performed flawlessly every time.
We've used it on quite a few trips, one of them was over 5800 miles in 3 weeks! 100% worth the price!

First let me clarify this review is for the rack mounted to a 2019 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. I bought the rack to carry two step-through ebikes, both are identical. The rack went together fairly easily, follow the instructions carefully. I did not measure the time as it was over 90 degrees in my garage and at 73 I took frequent breaks. The rack is VERY heavy as it mist carry bikes up to 80 lbs each. There is not much clearance between to rack and the spare tire on the Jeep. The first 2 photos photos will show you and I became a little worried immediately upon seeing that. After building the rest of the rack, I mounted it into the hitch tube. All looks good from the photos, but now the problem arises. According to the website, this rack is supposed to fit and function for my Jeep. I tried to fold the rack into the storage position and that does not work. The Jeep spare interferes with folding as you can see from. the next photos. In addition, I tried the tilt function. According to the website, the rack tilts down allowing access to the cargo area. As you can see from the photos, the spare tire again impacts the rack and the cargo area cannot be accessed. I have to remove the entire rack to access the cargo area. Luckily I can access it from the side doors if really needed. Two more photos showing the rack ready for use and with one of the ebikes mounted. Be careful mounting, pay close attention to both he pedals and kickstand. In my experiments, I found the bike closest to the car should be mounted with the handlebars on the passenger side. It was also difficult to get the wheel supports to adjust with the weight of the bike. The last problem occured after mounting both bikes. The frame hook for the 2nd bike does NOT extend low enough to engage the bike. There is a couple inch space above the adapter bar. Based on strength and construction, a very good rack, however, the inability to properly fold and tilt on my Jeep and the lack of tight fitting frame hooks lowers the overall rating. If you have a Jeep with full size mounted spare, look at another option.

After a year and several long trips, this rack for eBikes is exactly what is needed. Although it’s heavy, so are the bikes. Properly mounted it’s a sturdy and secure solution. If you’re smaller or older, it might be wise to use two people to mount it to a hitch. Storing it is a pain in the [email protected]#$. But I wouldn’t buy any other rack for heavy eBikes.

I've had a competitor rack for several years, but wasn't able to use it for my Lectic Bike purchased last year. Folding the bike up and putting in a tote in the back of my truck was less than ideal. After quite a bit of research came across the Hollywood Racks. Assembly and then adjustment for both my Lectric and my wife's Specilized Hybrid very straight forward. More than pleased.Bonus was that etrailer.com carried the rack with as usual quick shipping, competitive pricing and attention to the customer that I've come to expect.

This rating is based on the confusion and inconsistencies between the box labeling and the website specifications. Kudo's to Roger from customer service who helped before, during, and after purchase to ensure our satisfaction. The bike rack works great and is solid in the hitch. Looking forward to using with the carrier combo that was part of our purchase.

Easy to use and install extra heavy duty! Has been great for hauling 2 of our 4 Lectric bikes on the front of the truck while towing our Fifth-Wheel! Going to get a second one so we can put the other 2 on the back of my wife's car!

Even though the rack is an import, I was well pleased with the ease of assembly and the quality of the racks manufacturing. I would recommend that you purchase one if you are in need of a 2-bike rack assembly. I also purchased the 3-wheeled trike rack and assembled it. I'm totally satisfied with both my purchases at this time

We bought this rack to accommodate two Himiway e-bikes. E-bikes are heavier than regular bikes, so we needed a sturdy bike rack that could handle the added weight. This rack does not disappoint. It’s very well designed, very well constructed and very easy to use. I would definitely recommend it!

I’ve owned this bike rack for over a year and I’m quite happy with it. One of the main reasons I bought it was due to the price, modular build and security. This bike rack holds four bikes and was equal in price (May 2021) to high end brand racks that hold two bikes. You can either install the single rack that holds two bikes, add on a rack for an additional two bikes or add on the cargo carrier. If you only need to mount one bike, you don’t need a huge four bike rack. The arms that clamp onto the top tube lock so there’s no way someone can lift the bike off the rack. Then you can also install the locking cable which reaches through all 8 wheels of four bikes so no one can steal the wheels. The hitch pin comes with a lock as well. This setup is very secure and sturdy.
Things I don’t necessarily like include the lack of security for the additional bike rack and cargo carrier. They would require locking pins to prevent theft. Although the parts are sturdy, they are quite heavy. I’ve learned that with four bikes on the rack, rear turn signals and brake lights are almost impossible to see on a 2017 Ford Escape. That’s a bit dangerous, but probably unavoidable regardless of rack. Also, mounting four bikes can be a bit tricky and require some finagling.
I’m super happy with this purchase and would recommend it if you’re looking to buy a four bike rack without spending a fortune (but also avoiding cheap, flimsy racks) and value security.

The reason I chose this rack is we have (2) 75 pound ebikes that needed a very strong rack. This rack works great once I figured out how to space the bikes properly. Very strong and sturdy. I just fold down the center post and load the first bike, raise it and load bike 2. The frame bar adapters work well with these bikes.
We travel in a motorhome and tow a pickup truck . Something I don’t understand is this rack is not recommended for use on a towed vehicle.
What is the difference between driving a vehicle with the bike rack and towing the vehicle as far as the use of the rack?
Thanks You

Only rack available that could handle 2 70 pound ebikes. Assembly was pretty easy, maybe 90 minuets.
Rack is big and strong, all steel construction. Bikes are very secure when I’m driving. Loading the bikes onto the rack is challenging. Lifting and positioning a heavy bike can be hard. Not for the feint of heart but everything about ebikes is more cumbersome. Linda at etrailer was great, helpful and took her time to make sure that I got the right product. Would definitely shop there again.

I bought this rack because I have 2 heavy ebikes. It worked fine. My most extensive trip was Wisconsin to California. Rack did good. I stopped on way home at my daughters in Denver and stupidly left our bikes on the rack. Locked in 2 ways right outside her house on Cook St. Nice neighborhood. This Hollywood rack locks the hook-on bike rack over the top tube. It also comes with a cable lock. Both were being used on our bike. The 2nd. night I was there someone defeated the locks and stole my bike. Not my wife's. Happened that mine was more expensive, but also locked on outside not inside of rack. Oh well live and learn. When I got back to Wisconsin a nut that holds on the wheel carrier had fallen off. I contacted the company about that, and they sent me a new one. The part I liked best about the rack is that carrying 2 bikes they do not touch each other so no scratches. I will use it again, but I have finally learned my lesson about getting ripped off.
