Specs:
Note:
Telescoping Ramp
The Destination E includes a telescoping, aluminum ramp so you can easily roll your e-bikes on and off the rack - no heavy lifting required. The ramp telescopes to ensure it touches the ground so you don't have to lift your bike at all. It can also be used to decrease the angle of approach to make loading even easier.
Arms with Padded, Rotating Clamps
Arms with padded, rotating clamps grab your bikes by the top tubes or downtubes to ensure safe transport with minimal movement and noise. They move up and down the center mast independently, so you can position them to fit bikes of any frame style.
Curved Trays for Easy Loading
Curved wheel trays allow you to easily roll your bikes onto the rack. The trays also have wide cradles that accommodate most bike tire sizes.
Ratcheting straps secure your bike's wheels to the trays. The straps are padded and the outermost straps tilt upward toward your tires to ensure a perfect fit.
90-Degree Tilt
You can tilt the rack down 90-degrees with bikes loaded, giving you more room for cargo area access than a standard tilting bike rack. From behind the rack, spin the rear-mounted handle counterclockwise to loosen it, push it forward, and tilt the rack down away from you. When you're ready to raise the rack, simply pull it back up, pull the handle up, and tighten it down to secure the rack in place.
It also folds up when not in use. This leaves a smaller footprint, so you can keep the rack on your vehicle to park in your garage. And if you want to remove it, it doesn't take up as much space to store it.
Tool-Free Installation
To install the rack, simply slide the shank into your receiver and insert the hitch pin. Once installed, turn the lever on the front of the rack to deploy a loop in the shank that serves as an anti-wobble device to eliminate rattle in the hitch receiver during transport.
Complete Security
Locks on each frame clamp knob secure your bikes to the rack. The knobs spin freely when locked so a would-be thief can't operate them to remove your bikes from the clamps.
A locking hitch pin secures the rack to your vehicle. The locks are keyed alike so you only need to use 1 key.

This platform rack is perfect for carrying heavy electric bikes. It includes a telescoping loading ramp that lets you easily roll your bikes onto the rack. Tilts nearly 90 degrees with bikes loaded for superior cargo area access. As always, fast order processing an delivery from etrailer. The rack is exactly what I expected. Our Heybike Rangers are 60lbs each without the battery and this rack handles bikes up to 70lbs each. Super simple to assemble, quality parts with perfect alignment and the fit and finish are first rate. My wife can load her own bike with the included ramp. I'm very pleased with my purchase. I've since drilled additional 1/4" holes 2" forward of the originals so that I can get the second straps to fit over the front tires. The original placements didn't work with our bikes (see photo).
The only thing I can add is a request for better instructions on installing the additional straps for the front wheels. However, I did figure it out. Thanks for the quick shipping and the excellent service.

Im really enjoying the quality of this bike rack. As stated by your company its a very sturdy rack and the quality is hard to beat. I looked at several bike racks and the Hollywood Destination E Bike rack was the best of whats out there.
Love it and it was almost 4 stars because it could use a little more space between the bikes, I have a Letric XP and my wife has a Pedego. My front baskets and her rear rack barely rub, but they rub. Still a 5-star because how nice it is that I no longer wrestle the Fixit crossbar as we both have step-throughs. Took a few things off my XP to get the weight (front rack, but kept the rear) down to 67 pounds with no battery, Wifes Pedego is 57 pounds with battery. Yes, I actually physically weighed my bikes. I am a senior and lifting our bikes into hoops was getting old, the ramp is excellent. etrailer did a great job and I recommend them. Put it on Honda CRV today and did a test ride and it traveled well.

Now using mostly on our Sprinter camper van, took it coast to coast and had no issues at all.
Was quite easy to assemble and install. Very sturdy.
I am using it to carry two 60lb. e-bikes and it does the trick. The loading ramp is a huge benefit.
We drove from Delaware along back roads and highways to NJ. No issues.
Next trip will be NJ to VT, another good test.
I only wish it has some small wheels somewhere because the rack itself it quite heavy to move out of the garage and onto the car.
Given the torque on the hitch receiver with a total of nearly 200lbs+, I think people need to be careful that they have a good hitch rated to carry that much weight.
I got this rack to transport two Ebikes on my wife’s Highlander and my GMC2500. We have Aventon Aventure and Sinch bikes. They weigh around 63 and 60 lbs with the battery removed. I had tried loading into the bed of the pickup and using a tailgate pad but it was a struggle to load the bikes myself. This rack makes it a lot easier using the ramp. The clamps work fine on the bikes even though both are step through models. I may put a strap on the tilt mechanism as a safety. Due to the wheelbase of the asinch I did drill another set of holes to provide a better mounting location and increase the amount of strap that went through the latch. I also found a way to hang the rack on the wall in my shed to store it when not in use. I’m going to order a spare strap just in case one breaks.
Very nice rack for heavy e bikes.
Hitch connection tightens down to reduce wobble and the ramps work wonderfully....
Great Bike Rack. In Feb 2021, I purchased a Swagman Current Bike Rack from etrailer for my two regular bikes and anticipation of buying an e-bike. In May 2021, I purchased two Scott Sub-Active E-bikes. My Swagman bike rack worked well but I always needed help to lift my 63 lbs Scott e-bikes onto the rack. In Jan 2022, I had torn a shoulder muscle while lifting my e-bike onto the rack. From that point on, I decided I needed to get an e-bike rack that came with a ramp. Thule, Yakima and Kuat made racks with ramps but none of those three had other features that met my needs. Around May 2022, Hollywood Racks released their “Destination E” bike rack. After much studying, I decided that the Destination E was the rack for me and ordered one from etrailer in July 2022. I received my rack within a week from etrailer.
Assembly was rather easy after viewing video clips from etrailer website and Hollywood Racks videos online. The Destination E bike rack is well constructed and sturdy. My two conventional bikes were easy to load and mount on the Destination E without any problems. See attached photos. On my two Scott E-bikes which have the “step-thru” frames, the first one loaded easy but on my second one, I needed to use a “frame adapter bar” to mount my bike. See attached photos. To make sure that my bikes were securely mounted on, I used two bungee cords to keep my two bikes secured together.
The best part of my Destination E bike rack was the ramp. It could adjust to any length and is very sturdy. Some reviews I seen from etrailer staff cited that there was no way to store the ramp on the outside of the rack and that was a possible reason for customers not to buy the Destination E. Without anywhere to store the ramp on the outside is fine with me. First, the ramp does not weigh much and shrinks into a small compact size. It can be stored anywhere safely inside the vehicle. If stored outside, it might be easily stolen or lost during transportation.
In summary, there are not too many e-bike racks on the market that will accommodate a 63 lbs e-bike that have fenders and come with an adjustable ramp like the Hollywood Destination E Bike Rack. I highly recommend to anyone in buying this bike rack.
Also, I am very happy with my decision to purchase again from etrailer. Your folks are a great company. Your staff’s video reviews are very informative and helpful. Your prices are competitive. Delivery was fast and my prior experience with the etrailer’s Customer Service staff has been great. Keep up the awesome work!!!
Just got the hitch installed and setup the rack. Both ebikes fit great. I did need to order two sets of ratchet extender straps to be able to make two of the three straps work with my 20" wheel 4" wide fat tires. Overall, I expected I may need those straps. Great delivery time and can't wait to take my bikes everywhere.
Great quality bike rack , secure my two E-bikes with no problem, no movement or racking of any type .
My Aventon Aventure being 72 lbs made it difficult to find a rack rated to bear the weight.Hollywood had the answer.Easy assembly, looks and preforms well.An extension is needed to open the doors of a RAM Promasrer while rack is mounted.
The rack is great. I followed the instructions- slowly, to put it together, all went well. The anti wobble feature works well.
This trailer can handle the weight of 2 ebikes and it makes accessing the rear cargo area easy. The ramp really is useful for loading. I would give it 5 stars if the long bar for the outside bike fit a wider variety of bikes without scratching the paint and if the loop near the chain for the bike nearest the car could somehow be configured to allow for grease free hands and clothes when securing the tire.
I used this rack all summer last year--it worked like a champ! Given that I only have one ebike, I was able to finagle both clamps to lock on! Along with one tie down, the bike wasn't going anywhere! I love the ramp!! That bike is heavy!! Figuring out exactly where to put the bike so that the wheel straps tighten properly is a bit of a chore, but nothing to knock down my rating. Expensive, but worth every penny.
Pretty easy to setup. The hitch lock it comes with is a plastic body lock, which i had to take apart because it did not work. I slide the pin into the lock and the key would. Ot unlock to release the pin. So i ended up having to take the lock part to make an adjustment and then re-assembling it in order to make the lock work correctly. I recommend buying an after market lock to use with this. The plastic body lock it comes with is not worth anything. During assembly in parts you get 4 self locking nuts and only 2 washers?! So from a technicians opinion it feels like either they forgot 2 or hollywood only felt you needed 2 washers for two out of the 4 bolts with self locking nuts which seemed odd. But no other issues during installation.
The extendable loading ramp works like a champ and makes loading and unloading quite conveniant and easy.
If you did have to use the tilt down feature in order to gain access to your vehicles back end. I feel that the design isn't as good as it could be. Other rack systems have a self engaging pin/lock system that when you lift the rack back into place a spring and pin mechanism locks the rack to stay upright. With this you have to hold it and then reach down to tighten the knob lock the rack into position.
It does travel well and no other issues. Solidly built exceot for the few above mentioned.
I spent a lot of time searching for a bike rack for my quite large and heavy e-bike and my wife's e-bike. The rack needed to allow me to load and unload the bikes via a ramp and be able to handle their weight along with holding them securely.
Thanks to the excellent videos that etrailer produced, I decided to order the Hollywood Destination E-Bike Rack. The purchase process was easy and the communication from etrailer was great. It arrived in a timely manner and the rack was well packed in a high quality box. Upon opening the box, I was impressed with the build quality, fit, and finish. There was a small amount of assembly needed it did include the tools that were needed if you do not have a metric wrench and Allen key.
Once assembled, the rack was easy to mount on the trailer hitch of my Honda Pilot. Every other rack I have had in the past two decades has been a pain in the neck getting the holes on the hitch aligned with the bolt holes on the rack, plus I then have to use additional tools to tighten the rack bolts. This is not the case for the Hollywood rack. Easy as inserting the rack tongue until the detent contacts the rack, insert the pin and secure it with either the retaining clip or included lock, and turn the tensioning handle on the rack. Wala, I had the most securely attached bike rack that I have ever seen. Zero movements, no annoying squeaking, just ready to mount the bikes.
Time to mount the bikes! Awesome ramp, it is wide, long, and sturdily built. Once my beast of a bike went up the ramp, it fit properly on the rack base. (My bike has a 48 inch wheelbase and the rack's specifications state that you can have a rack up to 50 inches) I first attached the stabilizing bar to the seat post after easily repositioning it on the rack's verticle bar. After doing that, the three straps on the bike wheels locked in the bike securely. (Two straps on the front wheel and one on the rear wheel) That being done, the bike was ready to go. Once driving, there was almost no movement, and not a sound could be heard when hitting bumps or taking turns.
This is the BEST bike rack that I have ever used and now I can independently attach the rack along with mounting and dismounting our e-bikes.
The rack is very well built and very stable. We have two Coffman Outdoors Alpha Bikes, the equivalent of a Himiway Zebra. These bikes are great but heavy and big. The Alpha just fits on the rack. I did have to move one of the straps for each bike to make it long enough to use. This required drilling two new holes. In my extensive research I narrowed it down to three racks, the other two were considerably more expensive. But this is a solid rack. It takes a bit to get used to getting the bike positioned and is much easier if you have two people doing it. The ramp is solid and as heavy as these bikes are it is a real benefit. We were in a situation where one bike had to be lifted off instead of using the ramp, it really made you appreciate the ramp. I could not see using a rack with out a ramp with the size of these bikes.

We use the rack on two different trucks. A lifted F250 and a GMC 1500 both 4x4’s. The ramp is invaluable on getting heavy bikes onto the rack. We have had no issues with the rack, it is stable even over rough terrain. Takes a bit to get the bikes locked on, but not bad. I’ve put them on by myself and with help. Either way is fairly easy.
The Destination E Bike Rack was very easy to put together and has met all of our expectations. The eTrailer site was easy to use and great for comparing the various bike racks being considered.
Great! Easy to load heavy e-bikes with convenient ramps. Heavy duty construction. Very stable. Integral locks secure the bikes on the vehicle. Highly recommended!
this will not work on 5th wheel

While this a great bike rack, you are correct in that it is not rated to be used on the back of a 5th wheel. For a similar bike rack that is rated to be used on a 5th wheel I recommend part # Y36FR.
So glad I bought this bike rack. It is perfect if you want to go on a bike ride alone. The ramp is what makes it easy. No heavy lifting!
Love this rack! Well designed and made. Bought it to carry my two KBO Ebikes that weigh 120 lbs.together. Rack is solid with both bikes on. Love the design of the hitch pin that pulls the rack tight so there is no wobble when driving. The ramp works well even when the rack is on the back of my F150. Tilt with both bikes installed is not a problem, fold up is easy when not using bikes, and rack isn't that heavy that it is difficult to handle when installing or taking off the hitch. Highly recommend!!
i bought this Hollywood rack to haul 2 e-bikes. This is a very sturdy rack with 2 bikes. There is a little wobble but most of this is due to the hinging parts to make it foldable. In my opinion the folding part of this rack is its weak point. However this is only due to the fact that I will never use the capability of being able to fold. The ramp makes loading and unloading the heavy bike very easy. Also what I really like is that the support bar is behind both bike rather than in between and you don't have to fight to get the first bike on between the vehicle and the rack. The only problem i had was with delivery not etrailers fault. UPS LOST the first rack i ordered after a week long investigation the authorized etrailer to send a replacement and it still took UPS a week to get the package from Missouri to Pennsylvania being held up at the distribution center 35 miles from my house for 2 days. Again none of this is etrailers fault it was the shipper UPS. I am very pleased with my purchase.
Great rack, heavy duty, well built. Great video by Hollywood Racks
We have 2 e-bikes and did a lot of research into the best bike carrier for us. We could have paid double and waited months for no good reason or benefit and went with the Hollywood Destination e rack.
We ordered and it was shipped the same day! We got it in a week and this morning I assembled it, mounted it on the truck and put our bikes on and synched everything down. This unit is built SOLID and am so happy with the quality. Thank you for shipping so fast and for selling at a great price.

Were still loving this rack after a year of ownership and many, many, miles driven with this rack on the back! Multiple trips from PA to SC and never an issue. Were recently upgraded our E-Bikes to full-size adventure bikes Aventon and Mokwheel and the rack continues to work flawlessly.
