Padded, Ratcheting Hooks
The Sport Rider SE mast has a pair of ratcheting hooks that hold your bikes securely by the top tube. And because they move independently, you can carry bikes of different shapes and sizes. The hooks have soft padding that won't scratch or scuff your bike's paint.
Adjustable Wheel Hoops
The rack has wheel hoops that provide a stable base for mounting your bikes. Each hoop has a hand knob that lets you easily slide it along the tray to accommodate your bike's wheelbase.
Folding, Tilting Design
The rack tilts down with your bikes loaded. So, whether you're at the trail or the grocery store, you don't have to remove your bikes to access your cargo area. It also folds up when not in use. This leaves a smaller footprint, so you can keep the rack on your vehicle to park in your garage. And if you want to remove it, it doesn't take up as much space to store it.
Tool-Free Installation with Anti-Rattle System
The rack installs in your hitch without the need for tools. Simply slide the shank into your receiver until the welded stop plate contacts the hitch. The stop plate saves you from getting on your hands and knees to align the pin holes while inserting the hitch pin. Once the pin is in place, attach the lock pod. Lastly, use the integrated anti-wobble handle on the front of the shank to tighten the rack inside your hitch receiver and prevent it from rattling.
Complete Security for Bikes and Rack
The ratcheting hooks have lock cores in the release buttons so you can secure your bikes to the rack. Simply slide the hooks over your bikes' top tubes until they click and lock them in place. There is also a keyed-alike locking hitch pin that secures the rack to your vehicle.

This bike rack works great for our 2 Lectric 2.0 e-bikes. We mount it on our 2019 Honda Ridgeline. It folds up nicely when it’s on the truck and we are using our bikes. The locking mechanisms work well also. I contacted support for a smaller hook arm to clamp B over the bike frame. They knew exactly what I needed and shipped it - no problem.

We love this for our E- Bikes . My husband said once he figured out the parts assembly was straightforward . We used the rack for our RV and it was perfect . Very sturdy and adjusts easily to our bikes . We are very pleased with this rack and would recommend !

After one year, this rack has been perfect. Rock solid, no issues whatsoever. I use it on the class C RV, but also on the mini van. I had a great laugh all the way home from a trip last week. The view in my rear camera made the bikes with baskets look like a corpse hanging off the rear...Haha. 750 miles and didn't even get pulled over!

We just completed an 8K mile RV trip with the Hollywood rack mounted on our rear hitch. We have 2 Lectric e-bikes, we purchased this rack because it was rated for the combined weight of our bikes. The rack performed perfectly! We were able to easily load and unload the bikes and the rack held up very well. While the photo doesn't highlight the rack, it does show the use of my etrailer adapter to support the Hollywood rack and our tow vehicle. The rack is nicely out of the way of the tow vehicle and has plenty of clearance from the airflow at the back of the RV.

This 2 bike rack was packed well to help protect the parts, once unpacked and layed out on the cardboard it became really easy to assemble using the step by step instructions. If you have a heavy ebike this is the rack for you. The price is right also.

It wasn't too hard to assemble and it does a good job. The straps that hold the bike came upside down but was an easy fix. I'm disappointed that the locking trailer hitch pin didn't fit. It was like 2mm too short, and it was too thick to fit the hole. Can anyone recommend a different one?

The Hollywood Sports Ride SE Bike Rack was easy to assemble. Although it was heavier than I excepted. But I then realized that it was going to support 130 pounds of e-bikes. My wife assists me in installing the bike rack on the car as it is easier for two people. I also installed the Small wheel hoop adapters, which raises the rear wheel and protects the derailers. After my first trip with the e-bikes, I am very pleased with the ease of getting the bikes on and off of the bike rack. I would definitely this rack again.

I have 2 heavy electric bikes and it seems to work fine. Not many racks are rated as high for weight.

Overall great bike rack! Very easy to assemble, clear instructions. Fit my 2011 Jeep Jku perfectly. Plenty of clearance behind the OME spare tire. Holds both of my e-bikes firmly. Great buy!

THIS RACK SAVED OUR e-BIKES FROM GETTING STOLEN!
The would-be thieves cut the cable that I used to secure the bikes together but they couldn't release the locking hooks on the bike rack to be able to remove the bikes. The straps holding the wheels to the brackets were cut, but they really aren't necessary for holding the bikes on the rack anyway.
This rack is so simple to use and has performed flawlessly every time.
We've used it on quite a few trips, one of them was over 5800 miles in 3 weeks! 100% worth the price!

First let me clarify this review is for the rack mounted to a 2019 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. I bought the rack to carry two step-through ebikes, both are identical. The rack went together fairly easily, follow the instructions carefully. I did not measure the time as it was over 90 degrees in my garage and at 73 I took frequent breaks. The rack is VERY heavy as it mist carry bikes up to 80 lbs each. There is not much clearance between to rack and the spare tire on the Jeep. The first 2 photos photos will show you and I became a little worried immediately upon seeing that. After building the rest of the rack, I mounted it into the hitch tube. All looks good from the photos, but now the problem arises. According to the website, this rack is supposed to fit and function for my Jeep. I tried to fold the rack into the storage position and that does not work. The Jeep spare interferes with folding as you can see from. the next photos. In addition, I tried the tilt function. According to the website, the rack tilts down allowing access to the cargo area. As you can see from the photos, the spare tire again impacts the rack and the cargo area cannot be accessed. I have to remove the entire rack to access the cargo area. Luckily I can access it from the side doors if really needed. Two more photos showing the rack ready for use and with one of the ebikes mounted. Be careful mounting, pay close attention to both he pedals and kickstand. In my experiments, I found the bike closest to the car should be mounted with the handlebars on the passenger side. It was also difficult to get the wheel supports to adjust with the weight of the bike. The last problem occured after mounting both bikes. The frame hook for the 2nd bike does NOT extend low enough to engage the bike. There is a couple inch space above the adapter bar. Based on strength and construction, a very good rack, however, the inability to properly fold and tilt on my Jeep and the lack of tight fitting frame hooks lowers the overall rating. If you have a Jeep with full size mounted spare, look at another option.

We purchased this rack to be used primarily behind our Thor Gemini motor home and carry two Lectric XP 2.0 ebikes. A camp outing is planned, but have not used yet on the RV. We have only used the rack on my Subaru SUV with the ebikes and so far the rack and bikes remain solid. We did have to acquire a couple top bar braces to secure the two step thru bikes. Overall, would I purchase again. Yes!!!

Wow. A one-year review. This Hollywood Rack has got some bumps and bruises over the past year due to the frequent use of carrying our e-bikes behind our Thor RV to several states and campgrounds. So far, all straps and connectors remain in great condition and the bike rack has done its job and even the finish has held up very well. If I had to purchase this rack again, I would. One thing that I also did to store this rack when not in use was to mount a 2-inch hitch receiver on a couple 4x4s mounted together in a T fashion with wheels on the bottom. That way, the rack goes into the hitch and I can then maneuver it around my garage floor as it does take up some valuable floor space when not being used.

After a year and several long trips, this rack for eBikes is exactly what is needed. Although it’s heavy, so are the bikes. Properly mounted it’s a sturdy and secure solution. If you’re smaller or older, it might be wise to use two people to mount it to a hitch. Storing it is a pain in the !@#$. But I wouldn’t buy any other rack for heavy eBikes.

The Hollywood rack is one of the few that can handle 2 heavy e-bikes. I shopped for a few months and this rack was the one I chose. I am very satisfied with this rack. It locks and is very tight to my hitch. I don’t normally give a 5 but I would say that is the only reason why I didn’t here. I have used this rack a dozen times and still going strong. It fits my 4" tire and my wife’s e-mountain bike tires perfect. the biggest plus is that I didn’t spend a thousand or more. It was cheaper than most and I would say the quality is equivalent.

I've had a competitor rack for several years, but wasn't able to use it for my Lectic Bike purchased last year. Folding the bike up and putting in a tote in the back of my truck was less than ideal. After quite a bit of research came across the Hollywood Racks. Assembly and then adjustment for both my Lectric and my wife's Specilized Hybrid very straight forward. More than pleased.Bonus was that etrailer.com carried the rack with as usual quick shipping,competitive pricing and attention to the customer that I've come to expect.

Rack is sturdy and rides steady. I like the anti rattle design. I have been hauling a conventional hybrid bike and just bought my first e-bike. The racks adjustability is great and it looks like I will be able to haul both bikes easily. I have used it on a class c RV. The only problem has been the lock on the cable that comes with the rack. I have had to cut the cable, but Hollywood sent replacements promptly twice.

The rack came quickly and without damage or missing parts. Easy to put together, seems well engineered and built. Put it on a 2018 Thor ACE motorhome. Carry two Lectric E-Bikes with no problems. Only had it a month, see how it holds up. Happy so far.

The Rack is great for hauling my RadWagon and my wife's RadRunner Plus. This was one of the few racks available that couldhandle the size nd weight of the Radwagon. I was very glad to be able to take it along to the beach and am looking forwad to doin so again this summer. I did get the small wheel adapter to use with the Radrunner to protect the bike. I also use a frame adapter bar for more stabilty as both bikes are stepthru designs.
My only complaint is the the lock on the locking cable that was included with the rack no longer functions. When I insert the key it will not turn to lock the lock. Fortunately it stopped working while unlocked.

Someone from etrailer suggested I call Hollywood racks about the broken lock as it is under warranty. They were very helpful and sent a new locking cable. I am very happy with the rack.

Nice heavy duty bike rack. We have two Aventon sinch ebikes. 20 inch fat tire bikes. Fits on Toyota rav 4 very nicely. Rack was easy to assemble and is easy to use.

Bike rack is excellent so far. Relatively easy to setup. Great instructions and all tools needed were in the box. I love when the tools you need COME WITH the device. I don't why people assume everyone has tools in their home. Not everyone wants to have to go to the hardware store after their purchase! Anyway, great quality rack so far. I will update later after I load my bikes on it today for a ride!

UPDATE: So Ive had this rack for about a year now and though it hasnt rusted I will say there are definitely some drawbacks and serious revisions I feel should be made before anyone purchases it. First, the knobs that are adjustable-which you tighten to move and adjust the distance of the tire distance-THEY DO NOT STAY TIGHTENTED EVEN IF YOU DONT USE THE RACK! I have already lost TWO of these go bouncing down the freeway potentially to destroy someones windshield or cause an accident after tightening them previously and they weigh about a pound each so think about that at 70mph! Also, the little straps which secure the tires have a little rubber tube slid over them. Those tubes come off frequently and Ive lost 2 already. Pretty pointless but still, your device should hold together without a person constantly having monitor every little aspect. Another huge flaw, this rack is advertised as being able to hold heavy ebikes to some degree at leaat. However, what you dont hear is that it is very clumsy if you try to do this on your own. Its not a rack thats so user-friendly that you can put a 75lb bike up there in a snap and then go get the other one since it is a two bike rack. I cant tell you how many times I have pinched, cut, bruised, hurt, sliced, grunted and made all other sorts of noises trying to get ebikes on this rack by myself. The issue stems from the fact that you cant put the bike on the rack UNLESS the center pole is down because the center pole clamps down and secures the center portion of the bike and it rotates up in order to get in place to do this. However, once you put the bike on the rack the center pole is obstructed from getting into place! Therefore, all the grunting, moving, cutting, yelling and screaming to hold the bike while moving the center piece into place to secure the bike. With all that said is this a decent rack? For whats out there now basically. However, I dont really feel I got my moneys worth after my time with it and now that its fallen apart on me I guess well see how good their customer service is. Sometimes thats all you can judge a company by-how they stand next to the product on fire-not just the product.
