This 2-bike rack has large wheel trays that are perfect for carrying fat bikes. It's also great for carrying e-bikes and bikes with fenders. Sliding wheel trays help prevent your bike's handlebars from bumping the saddles.

Specs:
The Freedom has cradles with ratchet straps that hold your bikes by the downtubes, top tubes, or seat posts. These cradles have a rubber lining that won't scratch or scuff your bike's paint. They also have grooves that accommodate brake lines and cables.
The cradles pivot and slide up and down the central mast. This allows the rack to grab your bike's tube at the perfect angle. Twist knobs secure the cradles in place.
The wheel cradles slide to accommodate bikes with different wheelbases. Each cradle has a ratcheting strap so you can secure your bikes' wheels. Extra-long, ratcheting straps secure your bicycle's fat wheels to the trays. Standard cradles are also included so that you can carry 2 standard bikes, 1 standard bike and 1 fat bike, or 2 fat bikes.
You can fold down the upright mast by pulling a lever at the base. This allows you to easily access your vehicle's rear cargo area, so you can leave the rack in your hitch without it interfering with your cargo hatch or backup camera. The compact design also lets you easily store the rack in your garage when it's not in use.
It installs with a threaded hitch pin that helps prevent rattling around in your vehicle's hitch receiver. An anti-rattle hitch lock (SA3022 - sold separately) helps deter theft of the rack. You can also thread a cable lock (SA981 - sold separately) through the hole in the base of the rack and through your bike frames to secure your bikes to the rack.

This 2-bike rack has large wheel trays that are perfect for carrying fat bikes. It's also great for carrying e-bikes and bikes with fenders. Sliding wheel trays help prevent your bike's handlebars from bumping the saddles.Center support doesn’t lock tight, flimsy center bar. It does not stay locked in upright position. The locking pin doesn’t work very good.
Bike rack is not long enough for my bikes but I just took it out of the box and found this out so I will take it to a fab shop to lengthen it up
Everything looked good except one piece was damaged. I just got off the phone with Korren to report the damaged piece and she is sending a replacement part. Both products, bike rack and receiver hitch otherwise looked to be very well built. Your company and representatives, Loren and Korren were very nice to work with on my purchase. Thank you
Good solid product.
Perfect fit for two Ebikes
Thanks!
Great rack, easy to put together!
I wish I had more things to order from you guys. Everything was tremendous and super fast!
Product just arrived. Before our ebikes so haven’t had a chance to use it yet. Very fast service to get it here. Product looks real good.

Really nice rack, easy to use and adjust. Really does accommodate any size bike and frame size. The only thing I don’t like about it is the bolt and nut that tightens the rack to the hitch is really cheap, it’s an insert instead of being welded to the rack. Because it’s a cheaply made insert it cross threaded on me and ruined it. Now I can’t tighten the rack to the hitch.

I had to put my electric bikes into this rack, backwards, to make them fit. Not ideal, but it works. The receiving 'trays' that are intended to provide support for holding the bikes, by being placed under the bike tires, are forced to be moved to a location that is not directly under the bottom of the bike tires. While it works in this manner, it is not ideal. For the support that attaches to the diagonal bike frame, we had to remove it from the vertical rail of the rack. We reinstalled it, upside down, because that's the only way we could make it fit, or 'grab', the bike frame. Again, we made it work, but it's not ideal.
We chose to keep the rack because it was so much less expensive than the Thule rack we considered buying. The bike shop owner didn't agree with us. He observed that we are putting $3000 worth of bikes on the rack and risking that investment. So far, no problems, other than the ill-fitting installation.

Had to buy different wheel cup for a fat tire bike, 2 straps have broken. Awesome product standard issues.

We have had this rack for a year and used it 15-20 times. Compared to other 4 bike racks, we chose it due to the lighter weight and ability to accommodate kids bikes (12, 16, 20 inches). Overall it is pretty easy to get it on and off the car, and load the bikes, once it is all set up. The third bike on can be a little tricky to load between the post and the second bike, but the other ones are all really easy to get on and off. The quality seems high, and we have had no issues with any of the plastic parts breaking, as some other reviewers had. We keep the rack in the garage when not in use, so it doesn’t get any extra sun or outdoor aging. Love that it’s made in the USA, and the price and function are just what we were looking for.

This bike rack was designed for two bikes.
I use it for one only fat tire e-bike as it is still within the weight restrictions.
It carries my bike well and I'm pleased with it's performance. My suggestion is to always be within the weight restrictions when deviating from recommended us.

WOW WOW WOW That is what I just kept saying after installing this Saris bike rack.
I have been looking for a bike rack for almost 3-4 months now. Thule and Yakima didn't have what I was looking for. Their solution for a 4-5 bike rack is too complicated, not efficient, and it would be a nightmare to manage on a regular basis.
So I couldn't get myself to pull a trigger on any of those and I kept searching. Finally, I came to eTrailer and found out about Saris. That is where the love starts :)
We are a family of 5 (3 kids and 2 grown-ups). I needed something that will help me load bikes fast, unload them and still be able to have access to the back of my Toyota Sequoia. Saris delivered in every way.
Assemble of the item is straight forward. Instructions are clear and to the point. They even give you a yellow strip that helps you mark where the hitch needs to be in order to align hole openings for easier installation after you install it the first time ;)
The back-up camera is still usable but not 100%. Tilting down the rack with the bikes on it is simple as 1-2-3. There is plenty of room left between the trunk door and the bike as you can see on the pictures.
One HUGE benefit is that you do not need any extra parts for kids bikes. Not like with other brands. Saris delivers tremendously on this part too.
No shaking, rattling, or anything that would make you notice that you have this amazing product on the back of your SUV/truck.
I can't recommend it more. I am just surprised that this product has not been more advertised and represented compared to other products.

Very solid bike rack that is easy to use. Might not be as fancy as more expensive systems, but this meets our needs perfectly. Straps take some getting used to, but they stay secure.
The hitch bolt that you tighten works well to prevent rattling/ movement of the rack when loaded with bikes. After purchasing we took this on a 1800 road trip with four bikes and had no issues. Great product!

Excellent product. Very easy to put together. Just bought 2 new ebikes. Because they have fenders this is the perfect carrier.

Although I have net transported bikes yet ( picking up 2 bikes later today), I do want to share that purchasing it thru etrailer.com was very easy and it shipped very fast to my home. The Sarris Freedom was extremely easy to put together. It took about 10 minutes, basicly 3 bolts. Its very sturdy yet light, not bulky. Looks easy to store in my garage when not in use. Straps and wheel holders appear to be very well built. Got it on sale and the price was very good. Looking forward to trying it out later when picking up 2 new bikes. I plan on transporting somewhat locally between 5 and 25 miles each way. Initial feeling its a very nice rack.

This product works very well for the type of bikes we got (Electra Townie men’s and woman’s). Not the best rack for the type of vehicle (2013 Jeep Wrangler). Unable to open back hatch to let dog out until the bikes are off the rack. First trip was 600 miles with bikes in tow and didn’t even know they were there. I love the fact that this is a American made product. I am happy with my purchase. Thanks to the support staff at etrailer it was a great experience

Perfect, works on my e-bikes even with 3-inch tires, just I have to use longer straps. Love it.

As an older women , this rack did not work for me. It was suppose to be easy to use. However, there is no way I could lift my 50lb ebike up to put it on this rack. There is no way to even roll my bike up if I had a ramp. If you are not a strong person, do not waste your money!

Bike rack works great for my truck. I was able to load all the bikes and still fold down the tail gate which was real important to me. Folds up easy when not in use.
I would also like to thank etrailer for getting the bike rack shipped out quickly. It arrived the day before I had to leave on vacation which made loading up the truck a lot easier.

Etrailers website was easy to use and the product choices were great. We found the exact product that we were looking for to accommodate our two folding "Bike Fridays". We will use the rack on the back of our Mazda CX-5 and on the front of our Ford F450 pu truck. Your service was outstanding shipping, tracking and delivery. The onsite videos were helpful. Thank you very much. Pics are attached.

After we replaced a loose screw and tire holder, this model has worked fine. I appreciate that its not too heavy, only 21lb. As long as we keep tightening the components and avoid 4x4 very rough FS rds, this model serves well.

Great bike rack. Very secure/stable and like the locking pin/bolt. Everything I hoped for to secure my wife's ebike and my good old fashion human powered model!

Solid product. Holds four bikes of different sizes well. Depending on where you locate the down tube cradle and tire cradles, it may or may not fold up as tight as it could. It still folds up, but the center support arms may only fit when folded to one side.
