Dual Folding Arms with Anti-Sway Cradles

Swagman Titan 2-Bike Hanging-Style Rack Dual Folding Arms

The Swagman Titan has dual folding arms that provide excellent support for your bikes. They slope up to provide ground clearance for steep driveways and bumpy roads.

Swagman Titan 2-Bike Hanging-Style Rack Hitch Switch Lever

To fold the arms down, pull up on the cam lever at the top of the mast. This leaves a smaller footprint, so you can keep the rack on your vehicle to park in your garage. And when stored in this configuration, it doesn't take up as much space in your garage.

Swagman Titan 2-Bike Hanging-Style Rack Anti-Sway Cradles

Anti-sway cradles with rubber straps hold your bikes firmly in place. Each set of cradles has three straps that secure your bike along the top tube and one that secures the seat post or downtube. This multi-point contact helps keep your bikes from rocking back and forth, reducing bike-to-bike contact. The soft rubber cradles rotate around the rack's arms to accommodate bikes of different styles and shapes.

Easy Tilting for Cargo Area Access

Swagman Titan 2-Bike Hanging-Style Rack Tilting

The rack tilts down without your bikes loaded. This means you won't have to remove the whole rack to access your cargo area for grocery runs and other errands.

Swagman Titan 2-Bike Hanging-Style Rack Lower HitchSwitch Lever

To tilt the rack, pull up on the cam lever at the base of the rack and lower the mast. When you're ready to go, lift the mast up until it snaps into place with an audible click.

Threaded Hitch Pin and Hitch Adapter

Swagman Titan threaded hitch pin

A threaded hitch pin is included to help eliminate rattle in the hitch receiver during transport. To tighten the pin in your hitch, use a 5/8" wrench (not included). A clip is also included to keep the pin in place.

Swagman Titan 2-Bike Hanging-Style Rack Hitch Adapter

You can install the rack in a 1-1/4" hitch or in a 2" hitch. To use it in a 1-1/4" hitch, simply remove the adapter with the included Allen key.

Bike Security

Swagman Titan 2-Bike cable lockSwagman Titan 2-Bike Hanging-Style Rack Anti-Sway Cradles

A cable lock is included to secure your bikes to the rack. The integrated cable threads around your bikes' frames and inserts into the lock at the end of the right arm. The cable stores inside the mast when not in use.

Swagman Original threaded hitch pin

An anti-rattle hitch lock (sold separately) is available to secure the rack to your vehicle.

Available Adapter Bar

Swagman Bike Adapter Bar

If you have a women's bike, kid's bike, or any other bike without a straight, horizontal top tube, you will need an adapter bar (sold separately) to properly mount your bike. The bar fits between the seat post and handlebar stem post of your bike to create a top tube so your bike hangs level on the rack.

Great product. Built durably yet flexibly.

So far so good, I have only had it for a few days but I LOVE IT. It is very sturdy and well built.

Sturdy, built well.

This was my first experience ordering from the etrailer.com site and it exceeded my expectations right from the start. First of all, after selecting a certain shipping method and purchasing my product on a weekend, I was sent a personalized email that same day letting me know that it was in stock and being shipped immediately. Not only that, but due to availability my order was upgraded to a quicker shipping method at no additional cost! When I received the bike rack, it was as advertised. Easy to assemble, very sturdy and intuitive. Looking forward to getting great use out of this!

by:

Product arrived intact, & a reasonable amount of time. Chose it as it had included lock & folding capability

by:

Received bike carrier in just 4 days from order date. Only took about 10 minutes to unbox and put together. Slid it in my hitch, lined up the hole and inserted the locking hitch pin. Piece of cake. Seems like a very sturdy carrier, easily folds down for rear door access. Only negative is it is a little high for my wife to lift her bike onto. I will most likely be performing that duty. Tightening the hitch pin snugged it up tight so there was no movement. Seems like it is a great product.

by:

Very happy with my purchase, LOVE the bike rack and decision to use etrailer.com, they were extremely helpful with timely communication and smooth delivery.

by:

Good value for its price point. Very easy to install. It is a bit of a struggle to fit 4 bikes especially with women & kid frames but once you get the hang of it the bikes lock-in and feel secure despite a fair amount of bounce whilst driving

by:

Had to cancel about 9 months after ordering. They just look keep changing the expected delivery date without telling you. Customer service is polite but useless, and asking for a powerless manager to help is just a waste of time. I would avoid using this company, you have been warned.

by:

I've had the rack for 1 year and it has been a great purchase. The price is reasonable for what you get. I use it for my road and mountain bikes. My bikes are expensive and so far I haven't had any issues with scratches or dings. This is why I got rid of my last rack. Great all-around rack.

by:

Just installed on my Subaru outback. Fit is great. I haves put any bikes on it yet but I am sure it will work fine. Only negative that I can think of is that it weighs a lot. I was thinking of attaching it only while using it; but decided to lock it to the hitch and leave it in the car as it will save time when going biking.

by:

We had 2 adult bikes and 2 kids bikes loaded on the carrier. We took a trip to northern Wisconsin, over 800 miles total, and the rack worked perfectly. No damage to bikes or to car. Great product and very sturdy.

by:

Easy to assemble the 3 screws that require installing. Don't really like the bolt instead of the pin securing the rack to the trailer hitch. Very satisfied other wise. Thank you for a well made product.

by:

Solid build quality! The rubber bike frame holders are a little too big for mountain bike frames - hard to wiggle the bike frame onto the holders. Otherwise, outstanding build quality! Tilt feature comes in super handy.

by:

This thing is nice! A little heavy, but, it's very roomy. I'm using it on a Toyota Tundra. This truck has a Class IV hitch, so the pin that is included wouldn't fit all the way through. I had to modify the hole in the rack a little to be able to use my regular locking hitch pin. Very nice rack indeed! Ohh!! I LOVE the straps. They are very secure.

by:

After getting some amazing help from etrailer (thanks, Mike!), I decided on the Swagman Titan 4. I bought it to replace a Yakima Doubledown that I returned because I was very unhappy with it. The Titan is equal to or better than the Doubledown in just about every way (The Yak gets the nod for their trick anti-wobble mechanism). The tilt and fold mechanisms are easy to use and smooth. The rise in the shank is absolutely essential for a low sedan like mine (Subaru Legacy). The cradles can rotate to fit a wide variety of bike geometries.

The anti-wobble screw is fine, but I'm considering sacrificing some of that stability for the ease of mounting and removal of a standard pin (so I don't need a wrench to take the rack off the car).

The only thing that makes me just a little bit nervous is that the attachment points for the rubber straps flex a bit more than I'm used to. They work fine, the straps attach easily, and maybe they're designed to flex like that. But I do wonder how they'll hold up over time.

Overall, I could hardly be happier. Thanks Swagman for a great product and etrailer for outstanding customer service!

by:

I've had this for about a year now using with 2 adult bikes and a kid bike, no problems at all - carries the weight and is stable. It's heavy when taking on/off the hitch socket, but that's fine - you want something sturdy to hold your bike investments stable on the highway. This does the trick. The cradles can be slid back and forth, or rotated infinitely to suit your needs, which I really appreciate. Overally, good value for the money, and I would recommend.

When it comes to the difference between the Hidden Hitch, # 60872 (no longer available), and the Draw-Tite, # 24795, trailer hitches for a 2008 Hyundai Elantra, part # 60872 includes a ball mount, hitch pin, and clip. If you do not plan to do any towing with your Elantra, these extra components would be unnecessary. Other than that, the hitches are nearly identical since the two manufacturers are sister companies. The Roadmaster Spare Tire Carrier # RM-195125 only has about 8 inches from the hitch pin hole to the back of the carrier and my understanding of Fiamma racks for motorhomes are that they are designed to sit pretty low when mounted on rails of motorhomes. • RV Bike Rack Recommendation for a Class B RV
I will be happy to help. The first piece of information that will help you choose a bike rack is that not all bike racks can be used on RVs, even if it is a Class B RV. Most hitch mount bike racks cannot handle the excess bouncing and would likely fail during your trip causing expensive damages. We do have several bike racks that are rated for use on a RV.
