This waterproof bag fits in your vehicle's hitch-mounted cargo carrier and holds your gear, leaving more passenger room and trunk space. It is made of a heavy-duty material with welded seams and zipper flaps to keep your cargo dry. It opens on the front and side for easy loading with zipper pulls that can accommodate a padlock for added security.
The Curt cargo bag is constructed of a thick, UV-resistant vinyl that is designed to keep your gear clean and dry. Welded seams keep water from seeping into the bag.
As an additional measure of protection for your gear, a vinyl flap covers the zipper and secures with hook-and-loop fasteners (similar to Velcro) to keep moisture out. When rain or snow hits, you can continue on your journey, knowing your cargo is safe and dry.
Position the bag in your basket and load the bag with cargo. Then zip up the bag and secure the zipper flap.
Adjust the integrated polypropylene straps on the bag to the length needed. Then wrap each strap around the bars of the cargo carrier so that the bag is secured at 6 points. Tighten the straps with the sturdy plastic buckles.
When you are not using the bag, just remove it from your roof and fold it up until your next trip.
The zipper pulls have holes through which you can insert a padlock (sold separately) to guard against theft.

Used this cargo bag on a three month trip through Canada and Alaska in 2022. This bag handled 15K miles, snow, rain and ice with no complications or compromised quality.
Attached are photos of my new trailer and cargo bag. I LOVE them. Used the trailer for tailgating at the Jacksonville Jaguars wildcard playoff this past weekend. I could not have asked for better products! No problems whatsoever. Thank you!!!
Securing straps could be easier to use. A little bit of water got through the zippers. Zippers could be higher quality making them easier to open and close.
This bag held more than I expected. After packing, there was even extra room. It kept everything dry during a rain storm, plus was easy to access during the trip. Highly recommend it. Sorry I forgot to take a picture when it was all strapped down.

Used the bag to take things back and forth to Florida twice. Everything stayed dry in rain, snow, and slushy ice.
Used it for a trip and easily protected/carried our coolers behind our car.

Just finished a family trip, used it again with our trailer tray. It is a perfect way to protect your gear, for extended trips. We also use it often for glamping, and perfect to for kids to stand on, while you spray them off, after a fun day in the dirt.

First, a big shout out to Shawn B and others, for expediting my order, so that I could have my equipment in time for a Girl Scout troop camping trip.
This bag is a perfect complementary piece to the Curt 20x60 hitch cargo carrier. It eliminates all hassles and need to tie down equipment that you plan to carry in the cargo carrier. You don't have to stress about any cargo flying away, as you're driving at highway speeds. I have only used it on one trip, in fair weather. But the construction seems heavy duty, and it looks like it would hold up well in rainy weather.
For my camping trip, I used it to hold the following equipment:
1.) 10'x14' 10 person tent
2.) 8'x10' 5 person tent
3.) 9'x10' 6 person tent
4.) 4 sleeping bags
Cargo such as sleeping bags is ideal to place in this bag, since they are bulky, yet relatively lightweight and quite compressible. With this cargo the bag was fully loaded. However, I could use the built-in straps to compress the bag enough so that there was enough clearance to open the tailgate on my 2015 Honda Odyssey.
Overall, it was a perfect complement to my cargo carrier and served my needs perfectly. (I'll try to post pictures later on. I have a second camping trip coming up in October)
Took on a family trip I have a Hyundai Santa Fe and yes it's fits all 7 of us but as for anything else no way. I also purchased the folding cargo hitch carrier. These two worked very well together bag fit perfectly and was secure from Vegas to Cali ... Also purchased top bag for roof and packed just incase of more needed space and pad that goes under for no scratches..

The carrier performed exactly as expected & described a very well-built item. A local repair shop installed the mount, assembly of the carrier took less than twenty minutes. The carrier bag that was designed for the carrier kept our cargo clean, dry, and snug. Excellent product for a reasonable price -strongly recommend!
We are really happy with this product. It did its job. Bought the Curt Aluminum cargo tray (another curt product, C18100) and this bag. The bag is well constructed. We recently took it on a 1600+ mile trip...over 24 hours of total driving time, in sun, wind and rain. Everything inside the bag was in the same condition we loaded it. Recommended.
Used this on our trip from NY to FL. It rained most of the ride down. I few times even the big rigs were crawling. Everything inside was as dry as a bone. If your reading this just click add to cart. Oh and the straps lock it down great. But I used a cargo net over it. To keep any loose straps down.

I hauled this cargo bag from Wisconsin to Arizona to Wisconsin. It rained steady from north of Carrizozo New Mexico to just west of Tucson Arizona. There was not one drop of moisture in the bag when I unpacked. This is a great product.
