Today we're going to review part number C49360. This is the Curt Combo Bar with the 2-inch trailer hitch receiver opening in an unpainted finish. This receiver bar is sized and punched to fit all common weight distributing hitch ball mounts or utility ball mounts, has a welded on forged half-inch collar, provides durability. The tube is crafted with a raw finish so it's ideal for welding. When it's a raw finish it will save you on the prep time when you install this. Again, the receiver opening on this is 2 inches. Take a ruler, 2 inches by 2 inches.
The length on this from end-to-end is right at 36 inches and again it does have a pinhole punched in it. It's 5/8-inch diameter which is your industry standard size. Then the measurement, let me just give you the measurement from the front of the hitch to the center of the hitch pinhole. It's going to be right at 2 1/2 inches. I give the hitch parts a 5 stars solid. I needed a unique solution for my Polaris Ranger. I needed the salt spreader to clear the tailgate. It can hold four 50 pound bags and no sag at all.
Arrived quickly and in a sturdy box. Item was as advertised. I am using the material to fabricate frame brackets for my truck, which had rusted and are no longer available. Nice strong material, you can tell when you're cutting it.

What can go wrong with such a simple device? It arrived on time in good condition, handled the welding process with no issues, and took a of coats coats of paint. So far, it has been used twice to haul a 20' sailboat well over two thousand miles and worked fine.
I would definitely recommend this extender to anyone that needed to move their attachment point three or four feet aft.
I am going to use this to modify my front hitch mount cargo carrier for Beach camping. Will only be used to mount accessories while camping. Product is just as described and will do the trick for my modification.
Just what the doctor ordered , the tube is what wanted to extend hitch, the reciver hitch was nicer than I expected
Very heavy-duty, massive and strong.
Paired with the solid steel ball mount bar of the same size or a bit longer, could mount whatever the vehicle or base hitch are rated for (whichever is less, and less the weight of this etc!)
Not something to let the kids play with, and don't drop it on your toes!

Literally the BEST customer service I’ve experienced in a long time. I placed my order thinking it would arrive on time, but later realized I selected the wrong shipping.
