Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com Today, we're gonna take a look at this Reese 18-inch long 2 1/2 inch trailer hitch receiver fabrication part with a raw finish. Now this part is designed to be used in fabricating a 2 1/2 inch hitch receiver when there's a receiver that's not available for your application. This one here is made of a cold formed structural tubing. You can see right here, it has a welded, forged collar on it and this is in a raw unpainted finish. This is sized and punched to fit most common trailer hitch ball mounts or utility ball mounts.
Does use a standard 5 1/8 inch diameter hitch pinhole. A few specs on this again. The opening right here is 2 1/2 inches by 2 1/2 inches. Overall length. Get our tape measure.
We'll measure from one end all the way to the end. About 18 1/4 inches. And the measurement from the end of the tube to the center of the hitch pinhole is gonna be at about two inches. But that should do it for the review on this Reese 18-inch long, 2 1/2 inch trailer hitch receiver fabrication part in the raw finish..

Why sacrifice towing capacity by stepping down to 2”. I searched the internet for days attempting to either have this extension manufactured or buy pieces. Etrailer.com to the rescue! Finally!
