Jeff: Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a look at this Curt Class 1 and Class 2 hitch pin and clip for one and a quarter-inch hitch receivers. Now, this hitch pin will secure your hitch mount and accessory in your trailer hitch receiver. It is a nice heat-treated steel, which makes it strong and durable. Has a nice sink finish to resist corrosion.
Now, if you notice the pin right on this end and the clip right here on this end, they do have plastic grips on it. Makes it easier when you're installing the clip to the pin or removing it.Few specs on this. The application, it fits one and a quarter-inch by one and a quarter-inch trailer hitch receivers. The pin diameter, itself, is a half an inch. Overall length from this end all the way to this end is going to be right at three and a half inches.
And the usable length would be once you put your pin in there, the amount that's from that pin right to there, is going to be right at two inches. But that should do it for the review on the Curt Class 1 and Class 2 hitch pin and clip for the one and a quarter-inch hitch receivers.

This worked as expected. If you are looking for a hitch pin and clip for a 1.25" hitch, this is the one. Do not skimp out and get the cheap one without the rubber coating, your cold fingers will be slightly happier. No, not that happy, a little less, but still, this is the hitch pin and clip for 1.25" hitches that you want.
The pin worked fine. Eventually o replaced with a locking pin.

Got my two orders, a trailer hitch, draw bar, pin and ball, didn't order all the 1st time. It was easy to find everything I needed on the site. The videos that showed how to install the hitch and wiring on my particular vehicle were to the point and easy to follow. at least one tip the guy gave, was to get yourself some extra zip ties, which I did and found it to be a great tip, (don't remember if he mentioned length, but I got some 8 or 10" and at a couple points it made it easier, It may have something to do with my age). Without the videos, I most likely wouldn't have tried to install any of it myself, it took me about 6 hours or so with breaks here and there but I am very satisfied. would add pictures but not at all tech savvy, have everything I need, just can't get them on there. After one year this pinand clip are still like new! Of course i store them in my trunk after usage but still work great!
Works fine. One issue is that due to the orientation of my hitch chain connections, I always have to install the cotter pin from below. In order to prevent the cotter pin from falling out due you vibration and gravity, I zip tie the back end of the cotter pin
Original stainless pin was cut off by body repair guy. Ugh. Bought this one and will grease the hitch well when installing. Great price; fast shipping; just what the trailer ordered.

CAROL., UNFORTUNATELY THE PIN DOES NOT FIT . BECAUSE OF THE LOCATION OF THE HITCH RECEIVER , THE CLIP WILL NOT SLIDE THRU THE HOLE IN THE PIN . THERE'S NO WAY TO SECURE THE PIN . GUESS I SHOULD REQUEST A REFUND .

All parts fit as required. Only problem was the instruction for the hitch was for a different auto. It was simple enough to install with the install video. Good product.
