This is a durable 5/8 inchdiameter carbon steel hitch pin that will secure your ballmount or hitch mounted accessory to your two inch or 21/2 inch hitch receiver. This does include the retaining clip here, so we can slide that in place to make sure that the pin is going tostay where we want it to be and it's not gonna wiggle its way out. Our usable length from wherethat clip is going to install to about where it'sgoing to start bending up here is going to be 3 1/2 inches, which should accommodate all the two and 2 1/2 inchhitch receivers out there, but you do wanna make surethat your outer diameter of your hitch is goingto allow for that clip to be put through there.
This does have a nice,black e-coat finish to it, both the pin and the clip. So, that's gonna help resist corrosion, help it to last a nice, long time. These hitch pins, like everything else I've bought at etrailer, is well made and sturdy. But what I believe is most commendable about the company is their superb customer service. You can get good products and fair prices from online retailers, but it is their attention to the customer's needs that sets them apart.

Appears to be of high quality. I love how thick thw cotter pin is and how strong the product is. It appears both pieces will hold up well over time. lt is much better quality and much better built than even the one that came with my trailer hitch. I am very happy I decided to purchase this.
