The TracONE comes with a mounting kit that allows for quick, easy installation to the factory track system in the bed of your Toyota Tacoma. Simply position the bases of the rack where indicated in the included instructions and secure them with the provided clamps. Each support base is held in place by 2 heavy-duty aluminum clamps. Torque the clamps down to ensure a substantial connection and you're good to go.
The sturdy aluminum crossbars on all TracRac truck racks feature integrated slots for mounting and easily adjusting accessories, such as the included load stops. These slots appear on both the top and bottom of the bars for the ultimate in mounting versatility.
A built-in trip strip at the front of each crossbar shields the slots from wind, maintaining the aerodynamic quality of the bars and preventing that annoying whistle you often find with slotted bars.
Included with the TracONE are 4 aluminum load stops with tie-down points. These load stops are designed to mount in the slots of the crossbars and slide along them for quick, easy adjustment.
TracRac crossbars accept a variety of accessories (sold separately) that slide and adjust for optimal placement.
The TracONE rack system is constructed of durable, lightweight aluminum. Because aluminum is lighter than steel - the material most often used for truck racks - only a small percentage of your truck's cargo capacity is taken up by the rack itself, enabling you to pack on more weight than you could with a steel system.
Even though aluminum is already rustproof, TracRac has taken the extra step of adding a dual powder coat finish to further protect the rack. The matte black electrostatic powder coat (e-coat) clings to the metal surface better than traditional paint finishes for a more durable covering. The second coat is a clear finish that adds extra shine and protection from scuffs and scratches.

Sturdy, lightweight aluminum rack clamps securely to your truck bed rails.I chose the racks because they appeared more secure than my previous setup, and they certainly are. I took my time methodically assembling things and all went well. A precious review mentioned there is little to no clearance between the button head cap screw (securing the clamp and bracket to truck rail) and the side of the truck bed; I found by rocking the tall leg I could finger tighten 'till the foot made contact, then just needed a few turns from a L shaped Allen wrench.
Great rack, very sturdy and easy to assemble. Took about 2 hours to get it all adjusted and tightened down. Easily can fit 16’ material even though only 5’ long.
Perfect fit, and a great match to add a ton of functionality and a great look to my TACO. Took 1.5hrs to install, with very clear concise instructions. Really appreciate THULE attention to detail and quality, and greatly appreciate the assistance that Olivia M. from etrailer offered.

I really like these racks. Functionalality,durability and aesthetics leave nothing to be desired.
They sit high enough above the cab of my Tacoma that i dont have to worry about scratching my paint when I load & unload my canoe or lumber.
The sliding brackets on top help secure cargo as to not shift when strapped down and traveling.
I'm also impressed with how quickly and easily they come off when I need the height for larger loads.
The matte black color also complements the white exterior of my pickup.
I would highly recomend this product!

Since the clamps for the Thule TracRac TracONE Ladder Rack # TH27000XTB-XK4B go over the bed rails of your 2022 Toyota Tacoma this means youll need to go with a different ladder rack if you have a tonneau cover. The Adarac Pro Series Custom Truck Bed Ladder part # A76ZR works with tonneau covers with in the bed rails on a 5 foot bed with deck rail system. The part # A79ZR works with the 6 foot bed with deck rail system.

Overall I am satisfied... easy to install on my Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport with the deck rail system kit. The top bars had a dent each but not a big deal for me.
This is my second TracRac. I had to get a new one because the sliding rail model on my old truck wouldn’t work on my new truck. I like the newer matte black finish. I just wish the top load rails had the quick install notches that the old rails did for the load guides and that the bolt heads had the same matte finish. (Can be painted after installation, no big deal).
Set up was actually quite easy. Instructions were understandable. Installation was also easy, and each individual rack is light weight. Seems to be a very strong rack so far.
Easy to install, works great. The only issue I had was the video made it seem like a locking device would come with the rack to protect it from theft, but apparently that is sold separately.
Assembly was very difficult as the threads in the uprights were not smooth. It took great effort with an impact driver to get them in. The rest of the assembly and install was no problem.
Just installed, personally took me 3 hrs, but probably won't for most people. My ratchet was too big to tighten clamps, so make sure you have a small Allen wrench set handy. I feel optimistic about hauling my kayak; make longer trips easier, more convenient and with no parking issues. Seems very sturdy, quality materials.

It's been a great rack for my Taco. Initially used it for kayaks and then for lumber, even 16' stock. I've weighed it down pretty good too. Recently I took 17 12'2x6 up there without issue.

The ladder rack paired with Malone Kayak Saddles has been working like a dream. They still look very sharp, and more importantly they’re still very functional.
