Used this on my car trailer and found it pretty easy to use. It seems to be a nice quality device at a good price. My sole complaint would be that the coupler is tough to remove from the zerk fittings. Pulling on it pulls the spring off of it that is meant to prevent the fill hose from getting kinked or pinched, so I had to keep pushing the spring back into place every time I removed it from a hub. Also, the plastic cap doesn't fit tight on the coupler, so it pops off rather than stay on. However, those are relatively minor issues in regards to the rest of it and its operation. Having used cartridges with this, I'm thinking I'd rather hand pack it from now on as the cartridges seem to leave about an inch or two of grease in the cartridge when it stops pushing out.

Waiting for Spring to settle in here in the Northeast, so I havent gotten to do some maintenance on my trailers yet, but I was relatively pleased with this grease gun except for the noted minor annoyances.

Love this grease gun. Easy to load and use. Makes greasing anything with zerk fittings a snap!

A year later and I have used this to grease everything from the trailer hubs to an industrial ring roller to a shear. Still works great!
Tamara R - 04/11/2021

Built well, works as advertised. A professional piece of equipment. !!!

Still great. Awesome tool.
Fotios - 08/23/2021

Grease cartridge was broken and not able to use with grease gun. There were grease all over the tire and box.
Tires look great and can't wait to try them out.
We are going to the river next week and will try out our new tires but now we have to find a place out here to buy another grease cartridge.
Called and etrailer will be sending a new cartridge in 5-7 days but not sure that it will be here before we go on our trip.

Very well made. works great, shipping was fast and easy and the price was as good as I could find anywhere.

exactly as ordered with quick free shipping, THANKYOU!

Super fast free shipping of a quality product!

  • Pneumatic Grease Gun to Grease Wheel Hubs
Sounds like you're using a pneumatic grease gun. I'd be leery of using a pneumatic gun to grease my wheel bearings, as it's easy enough to overfill them with a manual gun and blow out the grease seals which means you'll need to tear down the hub to replace the seal. You'd be best served by taking the cautious route and filling the hubs manually. A product like the # ALL940798 you'd looked at would work perfectly.

  • How to Measure Hub Bore to Select Correct Size Bearing Buddy
We offer Bearing Buddy bearing protectors in many sizes, all of which are shown on the linked page. You will select yours based on the inner bore dimension of your hubs. Since trailer makers do not maintain detailed specs on things like the hubs installed on their trailers all you'll need to do is measure their bore. You will need a precision caliper, like the digital unit we offer # PTW80157, to measure the inner bore of your hub. This measurement must be very precise to ensure a proper...
