It makes it very easy to install and remove for optimal towing versatility. You can use it for both on road towing and off road towing with a swivel pinto hook. The three inch inside diameter eye is rated at 45,000 pounds. It's made of a strong forged alloy steel for durability and reliability, and it does include the nut, the counter pin, and the washer.
It is a powder coat finish. The little nut ring attaches to a nose plate on your trailer.Again, the maxmimum gross trailer weight capacity of this is 45,000 pounds. The maximum vertical load or tongue weight capacity is 9,000 pounds. A few measurements on this the overall width of the ring itself is right at 6 1/4 inches. Again the inside diameter is going to be right at three inches, and the total length from the very end to the very end here is going to be right at 10 1/2 inches long, but again includes your washer, your nut.
Just line it up with the hole and drop your counter pin through there, but that should do it for the review on the three inch forged alloy steel nut ring with the nut.

This lunette ring is very heavy duty and has worked great on a trailer that has a gross weight of about 40k lbs.

Was shipped to me quickly Product appears to be good quality for like it should Be better if it had fine threads like my old one instead of the coarse threads it has so that it is more easily to get the cotter pin hole lined up in the nut and shank without having to be extremely tight or little loose
