Today we are going to review part number C48510. This is the Curt bolt-on 3 inch diameter Lunette ring with a 22,000 pound weight capacity. This Lunette ring is designed to couple with a pintle hitch. It is a bolt on installation. The hardware is not included. You can see it does have pre-drilled holes right on here to make it easy to attach to your trailers tongue.
It is a strong forged steel construction. It is very heavy. It's probably about 30 pounds and it does have a nice corrosion resistant black powder coat finish. Again, the weight capacity on this is 22,000 pounds. I'll give you a few dimensions.
The inner ring diameter is going to be right at about 3 inches. Overall length from this edge to the edge of the Lunette ring is going to be right at about 20 inches. The mounting holes are 5/8 inch diameter and just on the bar itself I'll give you a few dimensions on that. Up to the Lunette ring it's going to be right at about 14 inches. The width on it is going to be right at about 3 inches.

Powder coated forged steel resists rust.I bought this to upgrade an old trailer with a clevis hitch. I wanted something strong to haul my 1927 Caterpillar on the trailer. My plan was to weld and bolt the piece on. Etrailer helped me with my order and checked to make sure everything was good throughout the process. The lunette ring and bar were a lot more solid than I expected, perfect for my application. I feel much better about the trailer now that I have this part on there.
